Happy New Year everyone! 🥳 We've poured months of work and a lot of love into this one. I really hope you make an amazing website for 2024 and beyond! Thank you so much for watching, and sending all our best wishes to you going into the New Year!
Hi! We started to use this updated video to help us with our blog page and combined it with your prior video like you said! It's working great! These videos are so much help! Can you help with us wanting to add a short 13 second video clip we took on our phone to replace one of the hero pictures on our homepage? We want it to just keep repeating. Hoping we don't have to make the video clip into a u tube link or anything. Thanks so much!!!
Hey! To insert a video instead of image for the hero section, first select the Container that has the hero image. On the left go to Style > then under the Background settings you can set the Background Type to Video. From there, you just copy in a video link. It can be a video uploaded to your own site (in your Media files in WordPress), or a video from UA-cam / Vimeo. I recommend uploading it to UA-cam as an Unlisted video (this will make it private - no one on UA-cam will be able to see it, they will just see it on your website). By uploading it to UA-cam, it will also load faster. But like I said, you can also upload it into your own site if that is absolutely necessary. You can also enable it to keep repeating from the settings on the left side. Glad to hear the videos are helpful! Good luck!
🤩First of all, a Great Video Again 👍. I am going to create a new blog and have been on a watching spree of your videos continuously thereby earning you a fan and a subscriber 😊. I have 3 Questions or Requests from you: 1. You make such beautiful Websites, Can you please make a video on How to make a Beautiful News WordPress Blog Please 🙏? 2. Can you please tell me with your experience if I am making a News Blog, I will be uploading many images so should I directly upload images in WebP Format or upload it in JPG and let the image optimization plugin convert it automatically to WebP if I am just starting out with a Starter Baby Hostgator Shared Hosting Basic Plan with 20GB SSD Disk Space as I don't have a bigger budget? 3. As I just have 20GB SSD Disk Space in my plan, I wish I could have applied your speed increase video to my blog but since I am on hostgator, it's not a litespeed host I wanted to ask that as I can't install that many plugins due to the limitations, I would've to install a all in one optimization plugin which would be the best plugin for me according to you?: Seraphinite Accelerator or WP Optimize? It would be really helpful to me if you can answer these questions for me 🙏😊. Thank You.
1. I'm glad you like them! I wouldn't do too much different for a News blog I think, maybe just organize it slightly differently. But you should have everything you need in my Blog tutorial for that. And Elementor allows you to bring your imagination to life. Also, you can take inspiration from existing News sites that you like and just rebuild something like it in Elementor yourself, while adding your own touch :) 2. Personally I resize my images manually before uploading, so that they're not 4000 pixels by 4000 pixels or anything like that. I go for ~1400 pixels width usually, as a rough estimation. Then if you want to go the extra step, I also like to use a service like tinypng or tinyjpg to further manually optimize them. And finally I upload them (as jpg or png), and my image optimization plugin converts them to webp automatically (but this last part is optional to be honest). I hear good things about WP Smush for image optimization, but I don't use any specific plugin for this myself. The Litespeed Cache plugin does this for me on my Litespeed sites. 3. 20 GB is a lot of disk space, my biggest (eCommerce) website is under 10gb with thousands of photos. So I wouldn't worry about this. Hostgator has been doing better with speed more recently, they are better than they used to be (although I still prefer Litespeed). I would use a caching plugin like WP Optimize. I've never heard of Seraphinite, I wouldn't trust it as much. I don't use WP Optimize myself (I use Litespeed), but I've heard and keep hearing good things about it. I hope this helps, thank you so much for watching! And good luck with your site!
@@wpmakerThank You So Much For Replying 🤩 You are the Best UA-camr Ever👍. @wpmaker, hello Andrei, I am following your steps to customize the template, when click on CONTACT I don't see the online form with the SEND button (right after the "We respond to all messages within 24 hours." text). What could be reason?
Chemicloud no longer offers a server location in Romania, but even if they did I would still recommend choosing Germany like I did in the video. Germany has a better datacenter (basically their servers are faster and more reliable). I use Germany for my Romanian sites myself :)
This one looks a lot worse than the original you made with the Nature theme. This one looks like a cheap free template. At least the first one looked like you paid at least $20 for it.
Okay, First of all Thank you so much for this video again🤩👍, I am Watching Your Blog Design Video and My Website Designing Is Almost Finished but I want your help, can you please help me with this as I don't know how to code: 1. In the Second Single Blog Post Template that you have provided, after adding the Additional CSS given by you, the spacing is ok but only for H1, H2 & H3. The spacing doesn't appear wherever I have added images the space after image is also not there and whenever I have inserted H4, H5 or H6 Subheadings: The space doesn't appear and the content gets mixed so can you please also provide the Custom CSS for The section after image and H4, H5 & H6 Subheadings as you did with H1, H2 & H3 Subheadings Please🙏. 2. Also The Second Single Blog Post Template Looks Awesome But I noticed that there are no Categories or Tags in the template so with code or anything else, can that be added as beautifully as other things in the template so it matches with the overall single post template style? Please Reply 🙏 I'm a Big Fan, Subscriber and Fellow Website Design Geek so it would mean a lot to me if you can help me out with this like you did earlier 👍😄. Thank You.
Hey! 1.1. For the subheading spacing (H4 H5 H6), you can add the following code at the end of your Additional CSS: .elementor-widget-theme-post-content h4, .elementor-widget-theme-post-content h5, .elementor-widget-theme-post-content h6, .single-post .entry-content h4, .single-post .entry-content h5, .single-post .entry-content h6 { margin-top: 48px; margin-bottom: 18px; } Modify the margin-top and margin-bottom values to adjust and make it bigger or smaller as you like. 1.2. You can change the spacing around the images inside your blog posts with this code: .wp-block-image img { margin-top: 50px; margin-bottom: 50px; } Again, adjust the margin values as you'd like. 2. In your dashboard go to Templates > Theme Builder. On the left click Single Post templates, and click Edit for your active post template. Here you can select either the Date at the top, or the name of the Author under the blog post title. Then on the left, you can click ADD ITEM. Then for Type you can select Terms, and for Taxonomy you can select Categories to add them. You can also click ADD ITEM again, select Terms, and then add Tags this time. You can also go to your elements (9 dots icon on the top left), and select Post Info. Drag that widget anywhere you want on your page to insert Categories and Tags - like maybe you want to show them above the table of contents, or at the end of the blog post. Finally you can configure it like I've told you, to add Categories and Tags anywhere you want on the page. Hope this helps, good luck and thanks for being a subscriber :)
@@wpmaker Man, You are a Gem🤩! Thank You So Much For Helping Me Out, This really worked! It's ok to add Custom CSS in Elementor if you have the Pro version, yes. So leave it there and don't worry about it. Hi Andrea, I have a question to ask you, it has some relevance if you set another country as server location, it affects the site's functionality if you live in another country?
No, the country you choose won't affect the site's functionality in any way. The only thing it can affect is the loading speed. As a general rule, the closer the country you choose is to your visitor's location, the faster the site will load for them. But this is not the only factor, there are other factors as well (server's hardware and Internet reliability/speed, and others). Basically, for Eastern Europe, I use and recommend Germany.
Thank you for the explanation, but what will happen if a lot of people use this same template or worpress , because I want to request a google Adsense for this Wordpress so do they think it’s copy right or it’s the same word presses that other people used before me even if I change the topic ????
WordPress is just a software, Google doesn't care what software you use to build your website. Google actually likes WordPress a lot :) and about 43% of all websites on the Internet use WordPress. So it's 100% safe to use it and apply for a Google Adsense account with it. You won't have any copyright issues as long as you don't go on other websites and simply copy and paste their content. Good luck!
This is a tutorial for a presentation website, but I understand you're trying it for your blog? If so, you'll need to mix this tutorial with my Make A Blog one. Basically, you can follow this tutorial, but you'll need to use the Unlimited Elements plugin to insert your posts into your pages, like I do in the Blog tutorial. Good luck! :)
Namehero and Chemicloud are simply "hosts" (they don't determine how your website looks), and you need a web host to build a website like this that can exist on the Internet. As explained in the video, no website can exist without a host (a computer that stays online 24/7 and keeps your website's files accessible to website visitors). Unfortunately, I don't know of any free hosts, and I'd be wary of any such offers as it's highly likely to be hackers looking to steal your site/passwords/information etc. Hosting means a computer is always turned on and connected to the Internet, to be able to serve your website to visitors. This costs electricity, Internet bills, staff to maintain it, and more. So as you can imagine, a "free host" is an offer likely to be "too good to be true" :) I'm sorry I cannot offer a better solution, but I hope this makes sense. If you're just looking to practice web design, you can look up a guide for how to turn your own computer into a web host. This way, you'll be able to practice working with WordPress for free. But your website won't be online for others to visit (and it's also a more technical process to set it up) - but it is a good use case to practice design and learning WordPress. Good luck!
You are amazing! Many confusing questions have been popularized by your fluent explanations. Thank you for your valuable videos. Sincere thanks from a beginner in mainland China!谢谢!
Question, I currently have a website that is live but we hate the look of it. Your tutorial is amazing, if I wanted to follow it, would we need to scrap our current website and start from scratch?
Unfortunately yes, the best way to do it is to start from scratch and make the new design like in the video. The setup you have right now is most likely very different (theme and plugins) - so you will run into many other issues if just trying to edit it or add Elementor on top of it. I would simply save the text and images that you intend to keep using after you make the switch. And then rebuild it from scratch like in the video. On a positive note, the process should be really fast, since Elementor is so quick to work with and get a design like this :) I'm glad you liked the tutorial, thank you so much for the comment!
There are plenty of SEO videos out there from great creators! But I will keep your suggestion in mind for perhaps a future video :) thank you for watching!
Thanks Sir. Sir Please next time Make a Full Customized Travel Blog Website with a step how used affiliate marketing through travel blog .please Sir😊🙏🙏
Your videos are so clear and beginner friendly! Can you please give me a suggestion on what is best for me for this scenario: My content spans over different sectors but might be interconnected. Like art supplies and product reviews, awareness on certain mental health conditions and coping techniques. Shall I make one website or separate for different domains?
Hey! If they are interconnected, I would likely go for a single website. That will be so much easier to manage, and less overwhelming. Perhaps start the website, but go for a divide and conquer strategy. So, start with one type of content or sector (the biggest / most important one first), and focus on conquering that. Then look to expand to the other ones later on, one by one (you can even decide later if you'll do this on the same website, or on a separate one). This will make it much easier to begin and get the ball rolling :) Personally I would struggle for time starting 2 or more sites at once. It's a lot of work to do it right. So I'd focus on one, or at least one at a time. The hardest step is just deciding to start somwhere, so make sure you go for it and not overthink it too much! You've got this :)
Hi Andrei, thank you for such a detailed explanation of how to set up the website... I love your teaching style... My question is: - On the hero image I want to add a box in the centre and let the text sit inside the text... How can I do that - On my main page (where there are other pictures below the fold) , I want the audience to land to respective blog post... How should I do that? Appreciate if you can please help me out... TIA
How do I get the form to sent? It shows that the message was sent, but I do not receive anything. I did follow your instructions :) Great site and toturial!
Hey Claus, if you're using the exact same setup / steps as me, it will work out of the box. So first, double-check that you've done the configuration at 00:50:42 correctly, and check to make sure that you didn't get the e-mail in your SPAM folder. If that doesn't help, then you most likely have something different from my setup. Most likely your hosting or domain name configuration. You need to have your domain's DNS settings configured correctly to be able to send and receive e-mail from your domain. If you're using Chemicloud like me, these settings will be made correctly by default. But if you got your domain name elsewhere, or have a different host, you might need to make them manually. You can Google for something like "dns configuration for e-mail" and you'll find some helpful tutorials. Or, you can get in contact with your hosting support and they should be able to make the settings for you or help you make them yourself. Hope this helps! Thank you so much for watching!
Hi@@wpmaker Thanks for your reply. I do have a google workspace setup for my domain, so that I can use google workspace and gmail for my domain emails. So the dns settings at my host is setup with google dns settings. Do you know how to proceed from here?
That explains it. I would look up some tutorials on Google for how to let your website still send e-mails, when you're also using Google Workspace. Better yet, you could get in touch with your hosting and any capable hosting support team should be able to help you get the right setup. Basically, you want to still let your website's server send e-mail using your domain - and not just the Google Workspace servers as it is right now. I hope that helps a little, unfortunately I can't help more than this directly as it varies from setup to setup.

Hey Rahul, what about it isn't working? Did you add the Pagination widget to your blog page? (if you didn't find the widget then make sure you look for it in the different categories of widgets, its category was changed in some recent update) If you did find it, then what isn't working? Are you getting any errors?

@@wpmaker yes i have added pagination widgets as you have told in video but it is not working it is directing me to top of the site or home page, i am frustated since 2 days i am not able to do that please you are my guru you give me the solution or you please correct it
I haven't encountered this problem with my setup, so unfortunately I'm not sure what the specific issue could be. To start, make sure that you have the two widgets (Post List and Post Pagination) correctly linked together - as explained here on Unlimited Element's site: unlimited-elements.com/docs/post-pagination-widget/ Set those different settings as explained there, and try the different Post Filtering (Ajax) options. If nothing works, as a last resort, you can select the Post List widget, open up the settings for Posts Pagination and Filtering, and for Pagination you can select "Numbers." However, the Post Pagination widget should definitely work. This is likely either a configuration problem (you have the wrong setting somewhere - check the article I linked above), or it could be a conflict with another plugin you might have like some caching plugin. Either way, I hope this helps you find what's wrong!
@@wpmaker something wrong with my setup i am not able to figure it out beacuse i have also tried many ways to correct it, now its like a puzzle this also not workig

.elementor-widget-theme-post-content h4,
.elementor-widget-theme-post-content h5,
.elementor-widget-theme-post-content h6,

margin-top: 48px;

}
Modify the margin-top and margin-bottom values to adjust and make it bigger or smaller as you like.
1.2. You can change the spacing around the images inside your blog posts with this code:
.wp-block-image img {
margin-top: 50px;
margin-bottom: 50px;
}
Again, adjust the margin values as you'd like.

Da! Recomand sa te uiti la ambele video-uri si te vor ajuta sa intelegi mai bine cum sa folosesti diferite elemente. Scuze pentru raspunsul intarziat, ti-am scris si pe mail :) succes!
I combined what you taught us on this course with the blog course and made my website over a week time. Thank you so much for this.
Thank you so much for watching! So happy to hear that it helped!
Sir please make video on blogging website
Good luck!
brother im facing one problem ...i change my temple of website but old articles i posted before not show on new temple..what should i do please help
Good luck! :)
Is there a wp/elementor theme that looks like namehero or chemicloud that’s FREE?
So as you can imagine, a "free host" is an offer likely to be "too good to be true" :)
I'm sorry I cannot offer a better solution, but I hope this makes sense.
Thank you so much for watching! Love from Europe 🙏
Andrei, you're the GOAT! Once again thanks a lot for your incredible work and perfect explanations!
My man! Thanks so much for watching :)
On a positive note, the process should be really fast, since Elementor is so quick to work with and get a design like this :)
I'm glad you liked the tutorial, thank you so much for the comment!
Bro Since your explanation is excellent, could you possibly provide a step-by-step SEO on-page video?
There are plenty of SEO videos out there from great creators! But I will keep your suggestion in mind for perhaps a future video :) thank you for watching!

Thank you so much for watching! ♥️
Thanks a lot! This video is a learning experience for me. Thank you Bro.
Glad to hear it, thank you for watching!
This will make it much easier to begin and get the ball rolling :)
Personally I would struggle for time starting 2 or more sites at once. It's a lot of work to do it right. So I'd focus on one, or at least one at a time.
The hardest step is just deciding to start somwhere, so make sure you go for it and not overthink it too much! You've got this :)
thanks! Makes sense :) Excited to use your suggestions and yt videos and create this@@wpmaker
Hi Andrei, thank you for such a detailed explanation of how to set up the website... I love your teaching style...
My question is:
- On the hero image I want to add a box in the centre and let the text sit inside the text... How can I do that
- On my main page (where there are other pictures below the fold)
, I want the audience to land to respective blog post... How should I do that?
Appreciate if you can please help me out...
TIA
my elementor is nothing like this
you're using the basic one
How do I get the form to sent? It shows that the message was sent, but I do not receive anything. I did follow your instructions :)
Great site and toturial!
Cel mai tare video! Este super usor de inteles si arata si foarte bine. Keep it up! Ur the best!❤

buddy i am from india i have made beaitifull website all credit goes to you buddy please help me i ma having trouble in pagintion i have tried a lot but pagination is not working
Hey Rahul, what about it isn't working? Did you add the Pagination widget to your blog page? (if you didn't find the widget then make sure you look for it in the different categories of widgets, its category was changed in some recent update)
If you did find it, then what isn't working? Are you getting any errors?
i added widget as you told in video from unlimited element that is not working if i am clicking on that it is scrolling upto tha top of tha site not on the next page@@wpmaker
To start, make sure that you have the two widgets (Post List and Post Pagination) correctly linked together - as explained here on Unlimited Element's site: unlimited-elements.com/docs/post-pagination-widget/
Set those different settings as explained there, and try the different Post Filtering (Ajax) options. If nothing works, as a last resort, you can select the Post List widget, open up the settings for Posts Pagination and Filtering, and for Pagination you can select "Numbers."
However, the Post Pagination widget should definitely work.
Excellent tutorial...
