I just purchased a 1.5 ton 3 star Daikin AC yesterday. (non-inverter). No issues so far but have seen about 100 tonnes of negative comments on Daikin ACs. Especially the PCB. Is this PCB issue relegated only for inverter ACS or both? Quite worried now.
Using General for more than a decade. Recently replaced 3ACs with new purchase of 2 non inverter General and 1 inverter Daikin unit(wanted to try a change). General, for me is always ideal, but Daikin ain't bad either after using for more than a year.
I am thinking of buying a 1.5 ton AC. My usage is mainly during the Summer Season and budget is ₹45k. Daikin 1.5 ton 5 star AC is available at 44k while General 1.5 ton 3 star AC is available around 50k. Is it worth to increase my limit to 50k for General or Daikin is good enough? I am asking you because you have used both brand ACs.
@@ayushraj131292 One of my daikin inverter unit had circuit issue after using for only a year. They service center took off the circuit and made it a noninverter one. They asked to change the circuit but it wad ridiculously expensive, almost RS 37K. So I asked them to convert it into a noninverter one.
So I won't recommend anybody to buy inverter AC, neithet Daikin. My General ones are working fine and I will be relying on that brand only in coming days.

Using the same in evaporator Carry a logic, what add on advantage is found when in grove is used in condenser other than little increase in friction, which may force the system to demand for higher power consumption for a higher drive to overcome frictional loss.

Is the motor for both with BLDC tech. As correctly said OG had been a powerful brand in ME, probably they could establish the fact of less de-rating, at incremental ambient for a over design of condenser. That way OG is considered as a brand for higher or affluent class in India. That's the marketing strategy. However if you notice Mitsubishi a brand, did not promote them being a quality product. This is my observation. I have worked in compressor industry little over 28 years for a globally reputed compressor industry. All the best. Regards.

DAIKIN 1.5 Ton Inverter 5 Star Copper (R-32) FTKM50UV16 Split AC non wifi . Best thing is the power consumption is equal to 1 ton 5 star ac compared to other brands. power cooling capacity 5280÷ ISEER 5.20= Power consumption max is 1.01 KW per hour. As this is inverter ac average of 8 hours of running will consume 3-4 unit on 24degree. you can also upgrade wifi after some time. It has extension port for wifi. I have purchased recently 20 days ago. For wifi consumption display , I have purchase wipro 16amp wifi socket that show how much unit is consumed at KWh power .
If you have budget over 50,000 go for o general or mitsubishi ac.

200 sqft room need 25 to 28c temperature. Can i buy 1.5 ton 5 star daikin.
This should work. 1.5 ton is generally advised for room size upto 180 sq. Ft. Now this is little bigger but cooling will take little more time. Specially because Daikin inverter ac cools very slow. Electricity consumption is also very less and cooling is good performance is also very good. But being inverter ac it cools very slow specially at 28 degree C. Even I have recently bought Daikin inverter ac and performance is good.

I’m using seen 12 years, model no ASGA24ATC Split 2 ton 5 star it’s amazing,👌👌👌 till today there is no issue. Every Year 2 time Service only. Servicing cost 400 to 500 only with water pump !!

I recently purchased DAIKIN FTKM60UV. Really satisfied with the product. I have a room of 180 square foot, top floor with 3 side open + terrace. This AC comfortably cools the and in 30 to 90 mins comes to 25% usage
I would strongly suggest you to go with DAIKIN.. O general would consume more electricity.
Please do not purchase any daikin a/c it give maximum trable you have to spend as per demand for change of pvc board of outer unit each and every 3 years, at first time I have paid 4,500 second time I have paise 6,500 again after 1 year 8 months same problem in pcb board and again demanded 8,000-10, 000/ it is a Recurring expenditure for daikin a/c
one of my friends have daikin 1.5ton 5star inverter ac and he brought another ac from my recommendation LG 1.5ton 5star inverter ac and he also said that LG is more better for cooling accuracy, comfort, extreme energy efficient and indoor unit noise level also lower than daikin. daikin over cool the room, cannot maintain exact set temp, and thats why its not that energy efficient like LG. and actually i feel and observe that not only daikin except panasonic all the japanese ac brands overcool the room, cannot maintain set temp accurately.. and panasonic cooling is very very low and give most unaccurate cooling.. if i set 27dgree its give cooling of 29dgree... as a airconditioning and refrigeration technologyst i prefer 2ac brand its LG and another is our indian airconditioner expert BLUE STAR.

I owned 3 lg acs at same time, every year squirrel and rat was entering inside outer box and was cutting wiring because of downgrade designs, daikin never gave that kind of maintenance.

If your room is not in the top floor then any AC with good warranty is good to go. But, if room is exposed to direct sunlight and high heat then don't buy anything other than Daikin/O General for invertor and if Non-invertor then buy Hitachi.
If you want hassle free Summer days then always Stick to Hitachi for Non-invertor and Daikin/O general for Invertor
i alwys prefer LG bcoz inverter technology ko LG ne hi laya tha... so they are expert on inverter technology and inverter compressor.. LG dual inverter compressor practically do less vibration and almost zero noise.. and very very low energy consumption than daikin.. my LG 1.5ton 5star dual inverter ac consumps 160-200w/h after reach the set temp.
