The original "Walk of Shame" Sound of Silence parody idea is one that has been passed from college a capella group to college a capella group. Dana and Ginny heard it through word-of-mouth between singers, and decided that Hogwarts deserved its own version!

I've gone and done it yet again.

A Hufflepuff boy sleeping next to me.
Last night he seemed cute but now I'm thinking I was cursed.
But it gets worse.
It's time to take the walk of shame.

The dungeon's never seemed so far away.

The quidditch team out for their morning jog.

The whole team cheers.
They know my past walks of shame.

As I approach my bed I hear a snore.
My roommate's in it with some Gryffindor.
How thick her butterbeer goggles must have been
To sleep with him.
His turn to take the walk of shame.

In don't quite understand why she is walking through the whole castle AND even leaves it...
Actually, a Slytherin and Hufflepuff isn't that far fetched. The Hufflepuffs would be open minded and not prejudiced against Slytherins and be loyal through the Slytherin's schemes. And vice versa, the Slytherin would add some excitement to the Hufflepuff's life.
I love how you can totally see Ginny about to laugh when she's singing the sandwich part. Lol <3 Can't wait for the Ravenclaw Pride video!
Hufflepuff dorms are in the dungeon too, though XD this walk of shame would actually be quite short with small chance of being seen by anyone other than housemates.

Thats when you go to the Room of Requirement so you both take the walk of shame or to your dorm so your partner has to take the walk.
You guys really are amazing. People don't realize how hard it is to harmonize A Cappella that well, how much vocal control it requires. Really, awesome job!
Hilarious song. You'd think the teachers at Hogwarts would have had a spell in place to prevent this type of thing but they were probably too busy coming up with new irresponsible ways to endanger the lives of their students to bother.
@tlrhk Thank you. C: The parody to which you are referring is one that has been performed by a number of colleges. We heard it through word-of-mouth by other singer friends and are currently searching for the *original* original so that we can credit it as inspiration.
Err, why does she go upstairs, then outside, then back inside and downstairs to get from the Hufflepuff dorms to the Slytherin?

As we noted in the comments section, locating the *actual* "original" walk of shame parody is near impossible, because most colleges have their own version of it. That's why we thought it was fitting to apply it to wizard school, not just muggle school. C: And thank you~

@neomorphicduck What I remember is the stairs turning into a slide when any boy stepped on the girls' stairs. Just imagine that those cunning Slytherins figured out a workaround of some sort, maybe using a broom or even just Wingardium Leviosa to keep male feet apart from the enchanted stairs. :) Plus, we don't know definitively about the rules in the Slytherin dorms and their stairs/lack thereof.
@Adliitam It's still coming, we promise! Hufflepuffs deserve an amazing house pride video and that's what we're trying to give them. It's just taking longer than we expected. Hang in there, it'll be worth it!
