Thank you. I have some dip colors I really like, but dipping requires filing. Using them with polygel and the Lazygirl Method is brilliant. Voice over in the car❤❤❤ Moming it!
Your video is a lifesaver. I wasn’t too sure if you could mix acrylic power with polygels because of how it cures. Now I’ll be a mixing queen lol 😂 thank you for this method 🌺🌺❤️❤️
Beautiful nails!! Just curious though because oil is the #1 cause of lifting, why you used cuticle oil as a part of your nail prep to remove the dead cuticle and then use a dehydrator. It’s better to just use your eFile, or if you must, cuticle remover, but then you have to wash your hands really well because even cuticle remover has a little oil in it I believe, but to apply cuticle oil and not wash your hands and then apply dehydrator seems a bit redundant. I don’t understand. Just curious?
I do so many videos that the cuticle oil helps lift the nails off for me after a few hours or days 😁 my cuticle oil i make myself, its a good step to take if you have dry cuticles like mine, because you don't want to hurt yourself, 100% acetone or a good rubbing alcohol will remove all those oils though during prep so it prevents lifting 😁❤ ive done it too for when I want my nails to last and they've lasted 2-3 weeks :) hope this helps hun ❤
Love it, baby girl!💖 Such a creative idea!!! I also love how you give us the REAL LIFE situations 😁, like,"My kids are going crazy, so I'm doing my voice over hiding in my car (LOL 🤣!); & My neighbor is outside getting in his car...sooo I'm sure I look crazy just talking at my phone by myself 😂!" OMG, CRACKED ME UP!!!! But, on the real, that's mom life! I've gone hiding many times...if you want to be technical, I guess that's what I'm doing right now, being that I'm sitting in a dry bath tub (fully clothed, no intention on taking a bath rn), with the shower curtain closed and the lights off 🤦🤣 but, hey, I gotta watch my nail videos!!! Thank God for Daddies in situations like this lol!😉 I love watching your videos, and I LOVE THAT YOU KEEP PREP IN BECAUSE IT'S SOOO IMPORTANT!!!! Plus it adds time to your set, which is very uplifting, ya know? Like when I watch someone do a set, but they don't show prep, buffing, filing, perfecting, etc., and it's like a 10 minute video, and it ends with this PERFECT stunning set, it's just kinda discouraging, ya know, like it makes me feel like why am I so slow?! I just ADORE ❤️ the totally real situations you talk about, and always so happy and positive, and you STILL manage to throw out KILLER SETS THAT ARE TO DIE FOR!!!! I just love watching your videos! I always end up in a better mood than when I started!💖 So thank you for sharing your time and experiences and just pure love with us!💖💝💕 You and your videos are a gift that mean more than you know!!! Can't wait for your next upload 😁💖💅🏼

@@SwalesNailsBeauty Of course! Even when your sets don't necessarily turn out as you had planned, I still ALWAYS Love your videos! You're so down to earth and funny and in touch with your subscribers, it just makes me, and I'm so sure countless others, feel like we almost know you on a personal level, like you're our friend! And just oh so relatable! I love the tiny "imperfections", if you even want to call them that, like sirens or the other hilarious things that you mentioned 😉🤣, I don't know exactly how to say this, but I mean it as a serious compliment, but like there is so much beauty and relatability and honesty in the raw beauty that is your çhannel and videos and, obvi, your personality.💖💅🏼💕👏🏼

You can use dip on polygel hun! Just don't do too many layers because it will get bulky! I love mixing my dip with polygel and making my own custom polygels! 😁❤
@@SwalesNailsBeauty I wish I could send u pictures I used forms to make a polygel base then mixed my acrylic colors n glitter over top to seal them I'm so in love thank you for taking time share your vids
Any advice for a mix that’s not curing? I tried using dip powder with Gershion and modelones poly gel to make my own colors but they don’t cure all the way even after a few minute
Is the mix too opaque? If the colour is too dark it will not cure properly and you have to do it in layers, it could also be your lamp, I always suggest a lamp of 48 Watts and above, led and uv, uv takes longer to cure, also if your lamp is old, you might need to change the bulbs as the led might have run out, let me know if any of this helps 😁❤
I think people have done so with plastic press ons, but ive found it hard to remove them from the cured polygel, with this method I've done, I leave the nail there on the polygel and it becomes apart of the nail
I have hun, off camera though, some are great as acrylic, some aren't! Azure doesn't harden properly for instance, its like gum inside a shell, aikker, hardens really well for me 😁 I think its just a hit and miss really
Do you ever do your nails and keep them on? I only ask because your designs are beautiful and it would make me super sad to take them off right away especially after all the time and effort was spent.
I use to, but then I wasn't able to practice as much, I still do now and then to give my nails a break, and also leave them off to give my nails a break, but most the time, I do nails and pop them off, I keep them all too haha! I just love learning and practicing so I dont mind taking them off and changing them again so soon :) I find it fun 😁❤
Is it true swaraski is going to stop selling the crystals nail techs and cup makers use i heard this on another nail channel has anyone else heard this
There could be a number of things, did you prep your nails properly? Using primer and dehydrator? Did you file away the shine from your nail? Did any of the product touch your skin at all? That will cause the nails to lift, was the nail to thick or thin? Air bubbles? I think when using plastic or acrylic nail tips, you need to prep inside the nail too before doing this method because it can cause them to separate, sorry for all the questions but I hope it helped a little, it could be a number of things see hun ❤
Yes you can, apply your polygel and then put one or two coats of dip on top afterwards, just don't make the polygel layer too thick or it will bulk up the nail 😁❤
With this set I applied bade coat into the nail, applied the glitter, cured in nail lamp then scooped the polygel and dip powder mix up and put it in the nail, patted it down and placed it onto my nail, then cured again, finishing off with a top coat afterwards ❤ hope this helped hun
I don’t understand why you put the poly gel underneath your nails and then you don’t pop nail off so why don’t you just use polish instead of poly gel and do it all the same way I don’t get it I use acrylic and hard gel form my own nails but I don’t why you wish just wouldn’t use a polish like polish it was a pretty pink set up to everything the same as without the poly gel if you’re not gonna pop tip off. They do look beautiful you do a great job but I guess you could usepolish just as well
I'm unsure on what you're getting at with your comment but this method is called thr lazy girl method hun, the gel nail tip is not meant to be popped off like the dual form method, the tip is kept there for extra strength and structure, gel polish is great for decoration but using polygel in this way gives you long lasting nails too 😁❤️
Dipping powders to my mind are a gimmick 👎🏻 with the amount of acrylic powder , gel paints and gel polish colours for sale there is really no need to dip coat , dip coat 👎🏻👎🏻 and let’s not forget the extensive range of glitters . For me dipping is time consuming and messy . Poly gel /Acrygel on the other hand is a great product if you struggle with the correct acrylic bead consistency or find builder /sculpting gel to runny , you can also use it with nail forms if the nail tip mould application is not your thing 👍🏻💅🏻
I get exactly what you mean, I think I'd have to say I prefer polygels nowadays to dip powders, but the great thing before when I made this video is polygel colours were limited, where as acrylic was endless, so I could create my own colours I wanted, but now, its so much easier to find the right colour, plus polygel Is the way to go when I comes to beginners and so on, so yes, I agree 😁❤️❤️
Thank you. I have some dip colors I really like, but dipping requires filing. Using them with polygel and the Lazygirl Method is brilliant. Voice over in the car❤❤❤ Moming it!
