I was married for 10yrs and never thought I would end up getting a divorce. Once I heard this song, I practice my voice to sing it to my ex wife. It was hard to fight the tears back as I was singing this to her, plus watching her cry at the same time. Were best of friends now. But the depths of my heart I still love her.

I recently broke up with my first love. I loved her a lot, I still do. I didn't want to lose her but I being with her made me hurt too badly. At first I was in denial and refused to face my emotions. A week and a half after we broke up, one of my best friends told me he and her were getting pretty close and chances are that they will end up togather. I stayed up all night trying to figure out what to do. I know I don't have the right to come between them, but it hurt so badly I felt lost and hurt so badly I almost hurt myself. I always had a problem expressing my feelings and dealing with them, but your song helped me get most of it out. It will take time, but I know I will be better and your song gave me a way to pour these emotions out.
