Depression is a fruit/result of worry. Everything that Christ commanded us Not to do is a choice for us to plant or not to plant the seed. Once we choose to worry is the same as choosing to plant the seed. Once planted you have no control/power of what the fruit it will bring fruit. That is why all the commandment of Christ is power because it is the choice what seed to plant and every seed planted brings forth fruit of its kind.

How to get the name of Jesus and to make new friend with the Lord Jesus Christ? Please can you answer that question. From Jesus and Sylvia Nazareth.
My comment was deleted yesterday. I have a question. If we have full authority in the name of Jesus, why Paul couldn't rebuke Satan's messenger and live free from demonic oppression?. why his thorn in the flesh didn't go away?. why the devil didn't flee from Paul? Paul asked 3 times to God to be free from that. And why Paul, instead of using his authority in Jesus, he pleaded to God? I know we were not redeemed from persecution, but Paul says it was more than just persecution.
Paul's thorn in Paul's life was to keep him humble cos if what he saw and heard in heaven, it could have puffeded him up and made him haughty and proud. That's my understanding from reading the bible, the thorn was probably the Jewish leaders stirring up the people to persecute Paul. I might not have it right, so I am open to learn, but tis is my understanding. Hope this helps you a bit.
This particular messenger of Satan is one that continually stirred up persecution against Paul, not one that subjected him to sickness or any particular physical weakness. Andrew gave an excellent explanation in his teaching Paul's thorn in the flesh . Recommend that you read or listen to it.
