Powerbait tip. Cast out far. Then, move the bait a foot and a half in, every few minutes. If there are trout watching, they won't let it it get away. If you have an ice ledge, cast onto the ice, reel until it falls off. Then repeat the move every few minutes. It's a good way to work an area
Excellent! The simple fact that you stay true to yourself and say thanks to God for the blessings is great to see. Keep making these and I'll keep watching.
@SamongYangOutdoors was the first buck in the video a rainbow? Also if you don't mind me asking what state is this fished in. I would kill to catch big trout like this man and always looking for new areas to explore. The environment in this video looks absolutely breathtaking.
This is the type of fishing i need to do. Watching you make these videos is inspiring me to start filming myself !! As always the video is quality and very informational. Please keep up the content !!
As always, another awesome video. I enjoyed watching it as it reminded me of my past doing the same thing with my brothers and friends. Thanks for taking me along with your journey.
Glad you're not scared to show your faith, good on you. Something nobody does these days, fearing the "algorithm" might not like it... Keep up the hard work!
Wow, love your video excellent fishing and the fact that you didn’t say OMG once and you prayed for the blessing of being out there and the meal man you had me right then I subscribed and gave it a thumbs up. Keep up the awesome videos and you and Nate stay blessed brother and stay safe.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I LOVE THAT MOMENT when rod just FLIES toward the water.....Ive lost rods like that...to them fishes..VERY VERY NICE catch almost jealous ..almost..nah...i am jealous...seriously.
Worm and marshmallows, with some Mike's glo scent salmon egg juice, or sometimes shrimp oil poured on the bait, is also very good for that exact place you're working. Powerbait on one, worm and marshmallows on the other. We fished those exact waters for many years, those two in tandem will get fish every time.
The hooked jaw on the male Trout or Salmon is call a Kype. The eggs from the female Trout are excellent for fishing for, Trout or Salmon. The eggs that spilled from the Trout are like a #1 bait for Trout fishing...!!! I enjoyed your video. Nice catch... 😎👍 Chris
Love watching your videos! Tip for you, when using a spoon it should never spin, if it spins you're reeling too fast, a spoon should only wobble side to side, hope this helps and thanks for all your vids, I like the products you post in the description, might purchase some Kestrel products!
Always look forward to seeing your videos after the death of my son it has been hard to see the things we did so blessed to have these videos thank you NAVY GOLD STAR Father
Take a page from steelheading. Use spawn bag netting and magic thread. Pre-made power bait balls cover with netting then trim exces after tying the spawn bags. Most excellent for circle hooks or j hooks. Good luck Chao Faa!
You should save that roe and try tying up some roe bags with floaters inside. I use them on a back lake for splake and it iut fished doe bait 6 to 1 2 days in a row
I used to have the same problem with my rod holders. I tack welded the blade of a masonry trowel to it and don't have that problem anymore. Just push it in with your foot like digging with a shovel.
my goto baits for trous are kastmasters, powerbait does garlic chartreuse, and mice tail white or pink. That raw trout eggs uncured is gold! No complaints of a longer video bro, and its better to watch a longer video than a 10min vidoe. Keep on fishing!
That's my favorite spot on 4oJ lake... There is a little bar about 30' off shore that is a little shallow but if you fish right in front of it or just over it there are always hogs in there !
This looks so chill and nice. Thanks for sharing, again. Have you ever thought about going crabbing somewhere, for the channel, I mean? Edit: NOoooo, all that delicious roe!
great day fishing samong, I am not a big fan of trout or steelhead but as always tour content is great. Super knowledgeable and important for people. I do a lot fishing here in northern california and it is hard. Steelhead run has a spring and winter season. Winter run is the biggest run here in northern cali. Everything has to be barbless so anybody new is having a hard time. Love the content. Keep up the great work man.
For those Winter trout use imitation crawfish live craws or powerbait craws then dragged jerked across the bottom that's about the only feed they have in the Winter time and they go for a special big trout like that go crazy
The Hook on the jaw of a Salmonid is called a Kipe. The Tonge is the Vomer. The Blood is the Kidney. It's best removed with a spoon. Awesome day very impressive.
On the males, the hook is called a ‘kype’
Powerbait tip. Cast out far. Then, move the bait a foot and a half in, every few minutes. If there are trout watching, they won't let it it get away. If you have an ice ledge, cast onto the ice, reel until it falls off. Then repeat the move every few minutes. It's a good way to work an area
After a while one should replace the power bait as well
Definitely use this method and I can attest it crushes trout like no other
rainbow, chartreuse, lemon twist and lime twist are the best!! Great video Samong!
Even if you never would catch anything, i feel like just being out in nature surrounded by that beautiful scenery is a win!
Excellent! The simple fact that you stay true to yourself and say thanks to God for the blessings is great to see. Keep making these and I'll keep watching.
High Class UA-cam.
I appreciate you!! 👊

@@SamongOutdoors Either way the videos are always great to watch. Inspires me to film myself.

Worm and marshmallows, with some Mike's glo scent salmon egg juice, or sometimes shrimp oil poured on
the bait, is also very good for that exact place you're working.

Been watching you since the beginning and still killing it! Good job brother! Keep going but don’t end up moving to Bozeman! We need you in wa! 😂
Love your excitement and enthusiasm! Rainbows fight the hardest. Excellent video!
Actually they don't. Brown trout fight noticeably harder.

Can't wait to fish! Spring is finally here, and my first trip is coming up soon!
Bro I enjoy these longer videos they bring some kind of peace. Great videos.. keep up the amazing work
The drone footage is awesome. One of my favorite lakes around and that spot on the river is a nice spot as well
What's the name of the lake? I don't recognize it. Of course, I'm from another state but recently moved out west. Thanks for any help...
That prayer was just brought me here and made me subscribe… enjoyed the video

No click bait here! Your a true sportsman! You inspire me, come catch some salmon on the west side sometime! Easy pickings here!
Shore lunch for kings! Those are monster trout!
Love watching your videos!
Tip for you, when using a spoon it should never spin, if it spins you're reeling too fast, a spoon should only wobble side to side, hope this helps and thanks for all your vids, I like the products you post in the description, might purchase some Kestrel products!

Familiar looking river to me, of course. And that lake, too.
You should save that roe and try tying up some roe bags with floaters inside. I use them on a back lake for splake and it iut fished doe bait 6 to 1 2 days in a row
Nice fish! bro your style is so unique. bravo
That was a awesome day of trout fishing!
I used to have the same problem with my rod holders. I tack welded the blade of a masonry trowel to it and don't have that problem anymore. Just push it in with your foot like digging with a shovel.
Great idea! I will keep that in mind next time!
my goto baits for trous are kastmasters, powerbait does garlic chartreuse, and mice tail white or pink. That raw trout eggs uncured is gold! No complaints of a longer video bro, and its better to watch a longer video than a 10min vidoe. Keep on fishing!
You should try an olive tapenade. It's a game changer and not difficult to prepare.
I love your videos and these are my favorite type of videos to watch
That's my favorite spot on 4oJ lake... There is a little bar about 30' off shore that is a little shallow but if you fish right in front of it or just over it there are always hogs in there !
Great video nice catch is it possible you can make a video of the gear your using thanks
Thank you! I list a chunk of the gear that I use in the description of each video if that helps!
What a beautiful area!!!!! Love it!!
Awesome thank you for sharing the video never have been trout fishing beautiful trout .
You should use a snap swivel when using spoons and spinners. Your line won't get so many twists. Enjoyed your video
Damn all those action and running to the rod is epic.
This my first time tuning in.
I’ll be over there next week to start looking for turkeys and do some fishing
It's a great time to be outside! Good luck next week!
Yes it is. Hopefully I’ll run into over there. I didn’t get a chance to go to the Portland show.
This looks so chill and nice.
Thanks for sharing, again.
Have you ever thought about going crabbing somewhere, for the channel, I mean?

Great video beautiful nature up there
That is a heck of a trout day!!
Real life adventure Sam! You boys rock……. 👍
Nice eating fish! Great video and drone footage.
Beautiful video brother! Lovethe catch and cook on the shoreline!
I use snap swivels with panthers. Easier to switch out too.
Great choice! It's just kinda hard to use a snap with a ned rig haha. I know what you mean and totally agree!
great content and the quality of your videos are amazing thats a plus
