2.exit to main menu then go into ur character and backup the world with the items 3. Go into the backed up world and take the items out of the chest 4. Exit to the main menu again and go back in to the real world and not the backed up world 5. Enjoy ur items!

Hey toffytastic if you put 665 you get reds wings and they are the best, but you need the ankh charm to avoid bad debuffs
The ID number of the item you put in will come out in that quantity. For example, if you want to get Keybrand (ID: 671) you get 671 sand (ID: 169), then you'll get 169 Keybrand.
Does it still work on 360? (I know it was patched but I assume most of you don't play 360)
It's Patched. Look at the date of the video before you start ranting about how it doesn't work.

@@annikavahar4844 neither did i, maybe banned was the wrong word. If you did it too much, whenever you opened the game it would freeze and not let you play so i had to create a new xbox account
Still remember when this glitch actually worked when console went from 1.1.2 (i think) to 1.2, the update was bad although the items and how much they put in the game was good. It was destroying peoples worlds, giving people random buffs, and of course the infamous "Piggy bank glitch" shown in the video. Pumpkin seeds from the dryadd got you stacks higher than 999, when you tried it with too many stacks it would crash your whole world or corrupt it depending on how high the number of iron pickaxes you got was.
Realise this bug/glitch won't work in 1.2.4 this is 3 ish updates ahead of 1.2, it wasn't fake either and it worked for about 3 weeks or so before it got patched.

I defeated the WoF for first time and went to go destroy demon altars to spawn in the hardmode ores, but when adventuring Lost absolutely everything i considered really important (little bit stupid that i didnt store the stuff, but excitement got the best of me ). half an hour after i just gave up on trying to recover it and left the world and now everything is gone. can i still get that stuff back somehow someway? or is it gone completely? thx in advance :(

If you've already opened the Lihzard Temple, check if the Altar is on a breakable block, such as spikes. Then, break the spikes underneath the Altar to get the Altar. Then you can place the Altar wherever you need it and summon him. This could preferably be done in a Boss Arena with platforms and HP regenerating items placed, like Campfires or Heart Lanterns.
