Here was a great 2v2 on the Amazon with Germany! I had some more requests for German gameplay, so here it is! The Amazon is always a tight intense battle, and this one is no exception. Luckily we had the German war machine on our side!! What do you want next??

I know the video is old, but just for the record, it is not necessary to build barracks at the first moment of landing. You can train infantry and cavalry for the galleons. Transport the vills later with more calm when conquering the beach.
Great video and electrifying battle !!
While true it isnt as easy with civs that can't build from the safety or a ship.

i dont have japan in my countries, what should i do? I have only dutch france, spanish, portugal, russian, german, france and turkey (im new player)
DannnyS DennyS i would give you the advice to play as france, they are good allrounders. but you have to try it out, which civ is the one for you. have fun and welcome to this community

Delva DeBruyn Boom mid game with another nation that you are comfortable with. Japan, Britain, any water boom, or Aztec. Attack age 3 or attack ASAP age 4 with mortars! I beat the Dutch in my Portugal turtle strategy and British boom strategy :)

Why is placing houses along the coastline a good idea?
D.C.V. you can make an extra barrier depending on how you build them.
but wouldn't he get housed hard if they destroyed them with ships? that's what I don't get
D.C.V. Ally is British so if his houses get destroyed he gets another villager with each new one
I feel like its so unfair to be able to attack thru walls, I would accept if it was just arrows, but guns and arty like wtf?

You expect to belive that this game is not staged? Enemy's attack was more than 10 mnt ago, he could easily brake your wooden fence and moap you up... But he sitting there for long time and not eve using bombards??? That's a joke...
