I'm from Brazil. I really appreciate Bourbon, and often drink blended whisky due to market facilities. This is my first single malt, and I felt the oakyness and the wide complexity just like you said. Although I like the Bourbon corn taste, its really good to drink the pure scotch malt without grains. Thank you for the review.

Brasil tá foda em questão de whisky de qualidade por preço acessível...comecei com esse aqui e partindo para outros single malts como Glinlivet e Glenfiddich, mas o preço aqui é absurdo comparado com o valor de fora

For it's price, it's a remarkable whiskey, definitely a go to drink. Overall Singleton whiskies are very good

I've had the 12 and 15. Awaiting my birthday to down a bottle of Singleton of Dufftown 18. True fans of its distillery know that it's that burnt sugar-like sweetness and subtle bitterness finish is what made them keep on buying one of their products. Cheap and decent singlemalt. Nothing to complain here unless you have a very sophisticated taste and you are a lifetime single malt collector.

Having gotten used to the oak hit of bourban this feels not quite so intense, but it's good. It doesn't slap me in the face and the fruit and coffee flavors are welcome. Detecting some honey as well.

Today , I 've received one bottle of it delivered in a tin box, very nicely pakaged. To me it has a taste of pears, with a bitter and sweet note, behind.

Thanks for posting this one. I tried a Singleton of Glendullan NAS and it tasted like a blend to me and I had seen this one in the liquor stores here on the bottom shelf with no box at a cheap price so was wondering if it was better or comparable. It sounds comparable.

Not for a long distance, not much happening cardboard bitter oak little sweet and gone. When smelling the empty glass in the morning.(which is a good indication of quality) There is nothing left only a little not so pleasant sour note

I can't believe these glasses are so scarce and hard to find and all you get easily are tumblers. I looked at urbanbar online and they have nice tasting glasses.

Has the same historical heritage as a mayfly’s fart. Just like Haig Beckham club. It’s seems to be marketed at pseudo- sophisticated, fiercely image conscious wokelings who wouldn’t know the difference between a single-malt or a malt-loaf.

In all the videos I've seen of this guy he always says the same thing, I don't think he's a person you can trust, he's just giving good promotion to the brand so that we buy the product

Your gargling the whisky is really off putting. Why do you ave to make this disgusting noise when tasting the whisky? stop it. taste it like everybody else. And don't swirl the glass to much, you don't need to, it is not wine.
