- Three Philly natives embark on the journey to find the heart and soul of golf in the city of brotherly love. At the heights of their stardom, these three golf artists explore the history and future of golf in Philadelphia from their perspective lenses. Novelist and writer, Tom Coyne, explores the stories that made Philly golf so special through the ages. Lee Wybranski gets behind the brush to show the beauty and majesty of these iconic places and events. And Gil Hanse dives deep into the architectural significance of Philly’s golden age golf course design and how the future of golf architecture is being shaped.

Beautiful video! Those really are some magnificent courses. It’s a shame that they’re not accessible to more golfers.
Such great work, what a reverant spotlight of one of the worlds greatest golf cities 👌
As a Jersey guy just over the bridge, this is amazing. Keep these coming TC. Awesome stuff.
I enjoyed this so much. Thanks guys.
Huge, long time NLU fan. Became a Tom fan once he showed up in a season of Tourist Sauce. Have since read most of his books (and hope to run into him one day on a local course here in the Philly burbs). Spectacular video. Well done.
Make sure you also subscribe to Golfer’s Journal, some great articles / essays in there by Tom Coyne too
@@worldgolftour have been a 3 year subscriber to TGJ! Great publication.
Enjoyed this glimpse into a city I haven't visited for golf. Interesting to listen to Gil talk about the reaches of the Philly architects as he is now carrying on that storied tradition himself.
Wonderful piece, Tom. Need to get out of the NY/CT bias.
Glad to be in this area, trying to check off PCC and Guelph Mills next year. Got Rolling Green this year and that is already a top 10 for me easily
Gulph Mills is such a gem!
Interesting. Im going to try and contact him to see if he has any pics of Woodcrest in vorheees. Would
Love to see some flyovers of it. Especially because we have so many talks and debates about how it was built and designs.
Great work! Rolling Green is about as much fun as you can have playing golf. The spotlight on Flynn was excellent, more need to be familiar with his work.
Have you ever been to Salem, Essex or Myopia ?
I love Merion and i don't even know her last name- Lee Trevino
Nice sir
