Some songs hit you in the heart, like these guys created on Promised Land, an album that kept me hopeful that there were somethings worth fighting for but not the brass ring just a respect for the person I'm am today, these 5 guys created some beautiful soulfull songs , thanks for posting
Thanks for the post!!! It's soooo great to see Tate with the passion he showed back then compared to what he has shown since then. Also great to see the mastermind Degarmo playing with the band. I think many Ryche fans miss what you showed in the post and how things were back when the band was high quality and not what it has turn into.
Promised Land was definitely the band's peak. I've loved every album they've put out with maybe Q2K being my least favourite (not including Take Cover) but they have never been the same since Promised Land. It's the album that introduced me to Queensryche and Geoff's phenomenal voice and also the album that got me into progressive music. This album helped show me what music really is and this track was one of my faves on the album.
You're 100% right. Geoff was still holding on to his voice at that point, even though he had been losing range since 1988. By 1997, the band was a shell of their former self. The spark was gone and then Chris left and that was it. I did like "Tribe" and "American Soldier" even though Geoff's voice was gone by then.

It's great to read comments like that, Queensryche really has made an impact to many people, that's why this band is so amazing.
Judezki yea, totally agree.
Sorry to say after Degarmo left these guys r no more than a bar band...so sad..they were awesome
Their last album WITH Degarmo was very subpar (Hear in the Now Frontier).
I wish I could go back through time and see these guys back in 94 or 95. I saw them only once, in 97
This is the greatest band ever
Great performance of this song. So glad someone had a camcorder! :)

Well, after seeing so many others comment "I was at that concert:, I can finally say: "I was at this concert,"

Q2K was better than Hear in the Now Frontier. And yes, Promised Land WAS their peak.

The bands last great album and tour. After this it was all downhill.
