Awesome content guys, the great detailed explanation along with the arrows/visual guides helped since I don't actually play Kill team since I was first introduced to it for a learning game months ago. The Pokemon battles are just chef's kiss. Well done keep it up!
Pretty cool battle report. I enjoyed the tactical approach to the narration, my only recomendation would be to use a more dynamic camera setting were we could appeciate the models and terrain by seeing from their perspective on a few momments like the deployment or movements. That said the battles being made on a "pokemon style" battle is a pretty cool idea. Subscrybed and hopefull for you next battle reports in the coming new season of Kill Team! o/
As someone who's still new to the tabletop rules as a whole, details like explaining strategies for each turn and showing the values of each dice roll, have helped a lot in learning the basics of the game. Really liked the way combat was presented, super easy to follow, learned a lot, and was still entertaining to watch.
@@georgekingstone6364 Good question! Usually I don’t like maps that have vantage in the deployment zone for reasons exactly like what happened here. It often distorts the entire game around it because it is so oppressive.
Space marines are surprisingly tall and can actually see over most of the oil rig when standing up there! Ignoring obscuring also really opens up the map for available shots.
@@RySnow The Nob was, but the Marksman was on a vantage point which allows him to shoot over light cover. He would have been safe if it was heavy cover, though!
@@3rdsetofeyes To shoot behind light cover you have to have a 'vantage'(2"higher than) over the target you're shooting at. Aka if the nob is on the same level as the marksman, being on a vantage point doesn't negate the light cover the nob has if he is also on a vantage point the same height as the Marksman.
That is exactly correct, but the Nob was never up on a vantage point. Being on a vantage point AND behind cover of any kind is almost impossible to shoot at when you can get it.
Amazing Battle report. One of the very best! 10:15 are you sure the Marksman cah shoot both the Rokkitboy and the Nob from that position? He can ignore obscuring, but there are two whole buildings (the centre line ones) in the middle. He should not be able to shoot through walls.
Great eye! Because of the way the Octarius walls are built, there is a gap at the top light cover section where the Marksman could see through. The Nob being so tall also made it hard to completely hide him since he wasn't up close to the wall yet.
Really like the way you guys edit shooting and fighting to look like Pokemon battles
This channel has been great for the KT community I hope there would be KT24 bat reps soon I am looking really forward to following this channel.

Team Phobos calling in!
Well done! Love the format. It’s great having the commentary and thought process of the players.
Also phenomenal battle report! 🎉great stuff guys
Love the combat presentation
Great content. After TP1, I think the Phobos will carry the day.
Well done, I like the commentary!
🎉
awesome work! Is it possible thats its not allowed to deploy on vantage ? thanks!

@@3rdsetofeyes It seems you can! Its the barricades you can't put on vantage. Great work! really liked the match
How did the minelayer get a shot through the heavy terrain Oil Rig in TP1? Was the Comms boy even visible?
Space marines are surprisingly tall and can actually see over most of the oil rig when standing up there! Ignoring obscuring also really opens up the map for available shots.
Cool BR! I don't think that incursor marksman shot into the the Nob was valid, was the nob not concealed behind light cover?

@@3rdsetofeyes ahh my bad, for some reason i was thinking the snipa boy was the nob
Voting Orks
Kommandos
I’m thinking ork to win because phobos got lucky with early kills, luck runs out eventually
Hey, boter discipline tells that you can shoot twice, when not fighting. Plenty of 1 x shoot 1 x fight here.

Also squig was so close he could roll for detonation, and seems no skullk about was working in tp1
Sadly, the bomb squig was recently changed so that their detonation only affects those in engagement range 😢
