I used to park my car where DCA is. The good old days!
We were there that day and both parks were PACKED!! We couldn’t utilize Multi Experience Pass much either because of long return time for almost all of the attractions. I think D23 & the new Anaheim resident discount tickets have some impacts on it. We had great time regardless though, thanks to your wonderful tips Fresh Baked!

The beginning was a disaster and I was wondering how you would even have a video, but that’s your genius. As always, you pull it together and end up leaving with an uplifting feeling. Red car trolley? Amazing.
I bet the entire hollywood backlot becomes monstropolis in the next 10 years unless thats gonna be an orlando exclusive.
Inside out could use a dark ride too. Maybe more of a star tours type system since theyll have other dark ride systems represented already. The future of this park is bright

@@ruthmacias I am not sure, per Disney groups I follow on FB they say it will be crowded due to holidays season and the opening of that ride.
I love your rope drop videos! My family is going to Disneyland in October and I was wondering if you could maybe do a video about rope drop strategy when you need to rider swap. Same or different strategy? It could be super helpful for families with small kids!
I'm not sure if this is still true, but you used to be able to save your swap ticket and use it later in the day. That way, you could still get to the attractions in a timely manner, then use the swaps later during longer wait times.
@@shirwI didn't get that impression last year when we did that, because they issued a lightning lane basically. But I hope you're right because we are going in 2 weeks with a toddler!

Hey Dave, Our family absolutely loves your videos. We plan on going to Disneyland Aug 26th, Aug 27th (daughter's 5th birthday), and Aug 28th for DCA. Can you give us some tips or suggestions. Maybe come join us.
I'm going with my two year old the 25th-27th. It looks like it will be busy the 25th and 26th so I'm planning to get lightning lane those days to reduce toddler impatience. I'm also planning to rope drop fantasy land since most of those are young child friendly and don't have lightning lane. Also tom Sawyer's island and redwood trail are on my list when she needs to run around and play and maybe the lines are getting too long. Hope this helps a little!
Seeing Little Mermaid from atop Pal-A-Round, my money is on the Coco attraction replacing Ariel’s. I was extremely “late-money” on Coco, having only seen it for the first time a couple months back. Extremely well done.

Guardians is a great choice to rope drop! Sad only 2 out of 6 Gantry Lifts only! They need to fix the others before Monsters After Dark because I’ll be there on September 9!
Which are the best seats in soarin? And can you request to be seated in them? This will be my daughter’s first ride in her life 😅
As much as I LOVE guardians, I would never rope drop it. Not with a belly full of breakfast.
