Madeline don’t ever feel guilty for not being “good” at pregnancy. The fact that you’re simply doing it and getting through the day is enough. Your body was made for this change. Every woman has a different pregnancy journey that come with their own unique set of difficulties. It’s not easy but all that matters is that you are safely housing this little girl ❤️
I feel like that’s normal for throwing up once a day bc when I was pregnant I threw every time I ate something and my daughter wasn’t getting enough nutrients so they had to put me on nausea medicine so to me I think throwing up one time a day is pretty normal as long as you’re not throwing up every time you’re eating your OK
when madeline started crying i bursted into tears. her crying over the thought of her daughter getting bullied is just the most sweetest but most saddest thing too. i love you guys so much, she is gonna be one blessed little girl 🤍
Don't add to your worries. There are way to many things you are not in control of for you or that little miracle girl developing inside you. Enjoy each moment!
madeline you’re not a failure at pregnancy!! each pregnancy is different, so you could have another and not be sick at all. It’s not a failure at all! I have a 2 year old and swore I was one and done but realized i don’t want her to grow up alone and the specialness of growing up with a sibling :)
Before we had our daughter, someone told me, "Just remember that people MUCH stupider than you have raised children for thousands of years." Hearing that kinda helped us relax about a lot of the things that were giving us anxiety.
I started crying with you! I’m a daycare teacher and the bullying starts as soon as they can talk (experience from working at a few daycares 🥺) All we can do is raise the next generation to be kinder
Omg! I felt the same way I was sick my entire pregnancy like all day everyday I was sent to the hospital 10 times due to dehydration and unable to keep anything down! They tried me on tons of meds to try to help with it and nothing really worked that well, but after my baby boy being here almost 4 months I kinda do want another eventually! I kept saying one and done and I couldn’t do it again because it was so hard but you got this mama 💕🙌
Madeline you're not a failure in pregnancy u are amazing and Stephen is amazing too you guys will be amazing parents to your daughter can't wait to meet this baby girl!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
5:20 I was bullied at school, but when something bothers me, I tell my parents and teachers, luckily I have a friend who I can turn to for help. I love you guys! ❤
All pregnancies are different and you are not bad at being pregnant!! My sister had a baby girl and she was so sick the whole first trimester and a lot of the second trimester. She threw up just about everyday and could barely eat! You got this girl. Praying your nausea goes away soon!! You guys are going to be amazing parents 💗
For your first trimester it is normal to have nausea and throwing up. Hang in there. I'm a teen and 6 months and I went a whole trimester nauseous. You got this!
I was there for one of my sister’s kids birth to do photography/videography, and absolutely loved sharing that experience with them! Also since I was family, it made it much easier for me to be able to drop everything and be there for that
You have the cutest bump!! 💕💕 so excited for you guys! I can’t wait to see your belly at full term 💓 you guys are already such amazing parents. The fact that you’re already nervous for school and bullying etc. You guys are awesome!
This is the only couple where I’ll watch all the pregnancy videos and it’s because you guys are so down to earth about it. You are going to be wonderful parents at the end of the day and your daughter will be lucky💛
I now understand why you guys haven’t been doing as many podcasts and listen as much as I miss them every week, take your time, get through this morning sickness and take care of yourself, we will all be here and happy when you get back to it but we can wait. Love you guys
there's not a perfect way to be pregnant, everyone's pregnancy is different. Don't put pressure on yourself to be pregnant like everyone else. you're not failing you're growing human that's the greatest accomplishment. society doesn't show the hard parts of pregnancy, they call it morning sickness, mommy glow etc. that's not realistic. you're doing great. Watch colleen ballingers videos while she was pregnant you'll feel less alone
Yes! I was thinking the same thing. She's the most realistic, she didn't hide the pain, sadness, anxiety etc. Hiding the reality makes women who don't know the truth feel weak and like it's their fault. People may have hated on her and just assumed she was ungrateful for the child but she was expressing what she was actually experiencing. She loves them all to death
I'm so exited for you guys! Madeline you are doing great! Something is happening in your body that you have no true control over, you're not bad at pregnancy!
Madeline, don't worry about your baby being bullied and things like that that happens outside home. As long as you talk to your baby with honesty about what happens in the world, and letting her know what is wrong and what is right, you will have nothing to worry about. She will know, and with you as her parents, she would be the kindest and such beautiful child inside out.
You’re normal! I threw up every day for 13 weeks like clockwork… opening my fridge for breakfast before work always triggered it and I’d run to bathroom and throw up. Nothing touched the nausea so first trimester sucked! But as soon as I got to 2nd trimester I loved life!!! I had so much energy (nesting) motivation felt all the kicks and movement and it was great I was glowing and joyful no more nausea or vomiting! Then end of third trimester was the literal worst! I couldn’t walk without heart rate spiking to 140 I couldn’t breathe I was huge. But you are not a failure it’s all normal! Just keep your head up and you’ll get through it 2nd trimester is better! Also try not to have high expectations or stress yourself out to much on things cause it can deff trigger PPD which I suffered for a year after birth. Just always keep a positive mindset no matter what happens! Also breastfeed as much as possible pumping isn’t all its hyped up to be and ended up being more stressful was so much easier to just go straight to breast cause of cleanup and you think you’ll get sleep while Stephen feeds but you’ll still have to get up anyway to pump milk out cause your let down of milk will wake you and if you don’t it can cause your milk supply to drop. So straight to breast is always easier and even though people frown upon it cosleeping with baby was a life saver (and highly recommended by my midwife) for my mental health cause you can sleep while they breastfeed. I eventually ended up giving up on pumping and just feeding baby exclusively and did wonders for my mental health. I don’t know if you will see this message but remember that God designed your body for this so you are in no way failing and you got this girl!!!! I had an all natural unmedicated hospital birth (wanted a home birth but had to be induced cause i went 2 weeks over) and was so ready to be done with pregnancy and I’m probably a one and done cause of PPD but you got this!!! Stay positive and don’t let the little things eat away at you! You’re going to do fantastic!! So my main tips would be : Be Positive, keep stress low (cause it can cause cortisol adrenal and thyroid issues) enjoy every moment with the baby cause they grow so fast, cosleep, get out in fresh air/get vitamin D everyday, breastfeed as much as possible (this also helps your belly shrink back down to pre pregnancy weight) you will still have contractions a month or 2 after birthing this is your belly and uterus shrinking back. Keeping y’all in my prayers. Jesus is with you every step of the way and your body is designed to birth! Love y’all and God Bless!
Madeline and Stephen I'm only 14 but don't worry about your daughter being bullied because for me at least even if I wasn't at my best I knew I was okay because I had my family around. Your daughter is gonna go on with life so much better knowing that her family will be with her no matter what. Don't worry about about being the best parent ever, just being there and doing YOUR best is all that counts❤️👩🍼🧑🍼👼👶
You guys are going to be SUCH amazing parents. I am just so in awe of how amazing you guys already are at being parents and your baby chick isn't even here yet. I am so happy for you guys, and I can't wait to continue to watch your videos and see your family grow
Madeline! ☹️ you’re doing so great I’m a week before my due date and I was the exact same way. Very sick, just didn’t feel good about myself or the pregnancy and I’m praying it does subside soon for you. Mine definitely did and I think it’s just all the hormones from having a girl! You’re not a failure you’re growing a human💚 on a side note please film as much as you can because you’re getting me through so much with your videos. Never too much content from you both! 🥰
Pregnancy is so hard. You are not failing. I think I slept most of my first trimesters away while pregnant. Everyone copes differently, buy when your baby comes it's all worth it. 💖
The way you’ve felt during your pregnancy is so similar to me. It’s been tough! The medical anxiety, feeling like you’re not good at pregnancy, all of it is spot on to how I feel too. I’m also excited about being pregnant mostly through the fall/winter haha. I’m just a few weeks behind you so it’s really fun watching your journey and relating! I wish you were closer- you’d be the perfect mom friend 😆.
When Maddy started crying about people getting bullied so did I because it’s so true. I’m horrified of welcoming a child into this gen of social media and how could I possibly shield them from it 🥺
I was super nervous being a first time parent and felt overwhelmed but my therapist told me there is research that as long as babies’ basic needs are met (fed, changed, getting sleep), they will develop at their normal pace. It helped take soooo much pressure off and I stopped worrying about doing things to promote development, just focused on loving our sweet boy 🥰
I got the epidural with both of my kids. It feels like heaven. I wasn't feeling like myself 100%. My labor with my 1st son was 12hrs and then with his brother his labor was 6hrs.
i know im way behind bbut the beginning of pregnancy is so hard! I recently just had my son he is a year old and my pregnancy with him was so hard i dissociated most of it there is alot of books and alot of things that helped mee get through the journey! If you are spiritual in any way, just remember that you are bringing life into this world! it is an amazing/terrifying experience, but once you see her beautiful face its all worth it!
Yup throwing up once a day is totally normal and even more than that!!! I was throwing up from week 9 to week 15. Everybody is different 💖 hang in there mama
Nausea and vomiting is quite normal during pregnancy due to hormone fluctuations; however, if you cant hold down anything at all that is a need for medical intervention. Body Armours are great to help milk production for some ladies. Definitely utilize the lactation specialist and dont be hard on yourself at all if you have difficulties or you cant do it remember FED is best! Love you guys, so happy to watch you on your journey to becoming mommy and daddy.
I was sick the entire pregnancy with all 5 of my children. In fact, 2 out of 5 I lost 50+ pounds with them. But I also had absolutely horrible pregnancies medical wise with every one of them. One was even 2 months preemie. But labour/delivery was so fast. I'm so excited for you both. You are going to be wonderful parents❤️❤️
It’s definitely hard to think about your baby being in certain situations. Always wanting to protect them from everything, but knowing you won’t always be able to is so hard. And babies do start to eat solids around 4-6 months old! But there’s purées or baby led weaning. It’s fun but can be a struggle! I’m so excited for y’all! Can’t wait to hear her name ☺️💗
@@Meganalotta oh yes! Not saying that if you aren’t sick it’s not healthy! I’ve just heard if you’re sick the stringer the pregnancy. Not meaning anything wrong if you don’t get sick😊
My morning sickness was super bad for 5 months straight. It was all day everyday! There are still foods I can’t be around without getting nauseous. I told my husband we might be one and done too! Pregnancy is hard but it’s different with everyone too. My due date is next Friday and I’m so nervous! Im just ready to hold my little girl! Wishing you guys the best of luck and I know you’ll be amazing parents!
I wish you the best of luck with breastfeeding! I was able to breastfeed for 2 months thankfully but my baby girl was underweight at her 2 month appointment and we had to switch to formula and now she’s back on track! I also didn’t bottle feed though so I think that had a lot to do with it! Definitely make sure you pump and keep track of how much she’s eating! By the time they’re 3 months old they can drink up to 6-7 ounces every couple hours! It’s crazy! My baby girl drinks 6 ounces every 2.5-3 hours and now she’s almost 11 lbs and a little over 3 months old! If you do have to do formula I highly recommend Enfamil neuro pro gentlease!
Madeline! With my first pregnancy, my daughter made me deathly I'll. I threw up every hour all day long for the first half. It luckily went away around 19 weeks but then the second half brought its own fun things 🤣 obviously it was worth it and she is my best friend and the best thing to ever happen to me and being a mom is my favorite thing I've ever done and the most me I've ever felt. I was like you and not sure if I wanted to go through all of that again. She is 3 now and I am due in January! God blessed me with NO morning sickness this pregnancy and the worst part has been aches and pains which I can handle. So it isn't always bad, and even when it is you will never look back and regret it or not be willing to do it all over again to get you that precious baby you're carrying!
I doubt you guys will have any problems with her being bullied in the future but I am sure that you guys will be great parents for her and support her if it happens🤍 You guys are both so awesome and she will be too🥺Awesome video and much love to both of u!
It’s normal for nausea to fluctuate! Ur not weak! I’m 10 weeks and I’ll go a week without throwing up and then it’ll hit me out of nowhere as soon as I wake up! There’s even some days where I can’t keep anything down! It’s normal for u to be nauseous even in ur second trimester and some people even stay sick to the beginning of the third! This just means ur body is getting used to the changes that are happening! And I honestly understand when u say u feel like ur not “good “ at being pregnant because there has definitely been a lot of times where I would sit there and cry because I was so so sick. I lost 20 lbs from being so sick and now im at 98 lbs which is scary! But being a new momma means u overthink everything
I’m So Excited And Can’t Wait To See!! Also You Made Tears About Bullied And My 12 Years Old Got Bullied Last Year In School So Hopefully This Year Is Better!! Love You Guys!! ❤️❤️
I had my baby girl at the end of June and had a rough pregnancy too, especially with the nausea/vomiting lol I actually had to take nausea pills everyday otherwise I couldn’t eat haha! Before you know it she’ll be here and yes, you forget about all the pain during pregnancy/birth as soon as you hold them!
Madeline, I feel the SAME WAY about medical stuff. When you talked about not wanting to sit but also not wanting to stand because it pushes on your body, I was reminded of myself LOL.
You're normal.. I threw up at least once a day until probably like 15 weeks.. then it just turned into nausea for awhile and then finally went away minus rare occasions! Also at 37 weeks, I've already forgotten about how horrible that beginning stage is. 🤣 there's enough other stuff to think about now haha
I threw up 1-5 times a day from week 6-19 lmao. I had a ROUGH pregnancy and had the same mindset of idk how I'll have another child. But once my son was born (with the epidural) OMG I feel like I could have 50 more littles lmao
Congrats guys! Also with your nausea etc it could be your prenatals. I had to completely stop taking them cause I’d be so so sick. I’m now 31 weeks and I’m just taking folic acid and eating healthy and I’m no longer sick. Anytime I’d take a prenatal I’d be throwing up constantly. I highly recommend talking to your doctor about just trying folic acid to see if prenatals are maybe the problem. It’s definitely worth a try.
Don't feel like you're bad at this!! ❤️ Because we all have felt the exact same way. Not every moment is peach perfect.. at times when I was throwing up I'd cry and ask how the hell women keep doing this. My mom having 7 kids .. cousin having 7.. and now 4 months in to having my son I honestly feel like I'd force myself to do it again because not only is he growing before my eyes I do want him to have at least one sibling.. growing up with brothers and sisters life was never boring
I was Just like you with my first child. I couldn't eat or even smell any meat except chicken and I would throw up all day every day. It's different for everyone. With my second my doctor gave me nausea medicine which helped soo much!
My first baby I was soooo sick! All the way up until 30 weeks and I absolutely hated being pregnant. I’m pregnant with my second and it’s not anywhere near as bad! I think it just depends on the pregnancy. But you are definitely not a failure 🤍 it’s normal :) My older sister loves being pregnant and I hated it lol so don’t worry! It’s different for everyone
Well you could do sage and light pink maybe the comforter light pink and maybe plants that are sage. Or to add to the bed maybe like a sage pillow on the light pink. Just a few ideas that I think are good for your styles
There is no such thing as a perfect pregnancy or birth. Every situation is different. With my daughter I was very sick the whole pregnancy always upset stomach and I felt the same way as you. With my son I was able to enjoy the pregnancy more didn’t even feel pregnant maybe got sick a handful of times. Every pregnancy is so different 💛. Best thing you can do for delivery is be open and go with the flow as for coming up with a birth plan things are always changing during birth. 🌻
When I was pregnant with my son I was puking all the way up to the end of my second trimester and I was also the same way about feeling my son kicking lol just watch out bc she might kick your ribs my son did it a lot lol so happy to be able to watch your journey so happy for you and Steve 💜💜 love you guys so much
You are not weak at all! I was also nauseous for a lot of my pregnancy. My doctor gave me nausea medication which really helped! Maybe see if your doctor can do the same. Also, I am similar to you with medical stuff. Not so much about organs but about bones and something being wrong. And I found that the birth was the best part of being pregnant. Ik how strange. I had the same approach of not thinking about it and trusting my doctors. You are doing great!
Madeline don’t ever feel guilty for not being “good” at pregnancy. The fact that you’re simply doing it and getting through the day is enough. Your body was made for this change. Yes this nausea is normal! Vomiting is also normal. Some women, have this the whole pregnancy. It just depends and each pregnancy can be different.
There's no right way to handle tough pregnancy symptoms. You are doing great Madeline! It will get better.

That’s what I was going to say. They overestimated the timeline of when their kid will experience bullying.
You guys are going to be amazing parents! Prayin' for you all the way!
I’m so happy for y’all. This journey is going to be amazing for y’all.
Being scared the First Time Parents is Normal in my Opinion, Not doing Well with your Pregnancy is Normal as Well But you will Handle it No Doubt!

Its so nice that we have the same due date and also having girls too thats awesome. Stay blessed. Different folks Different strokes
Sage green and light pink actually are 2 colors that go very well together! I think you should do both!
YES I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR ANOTHER VIDEO I LOVE YALL 🥰
Yes it’s very normal! My sister threw up everyday multiple times a day.
The more sick you are the healthier the pregnancy!😊 So don’t worry about it being a bad one!
I’m 20 weeks and I have not gotten sick! But the doctor said he’s healthy!
My birthday is February 10th!!
Wishing you a healthy baby journey !
I think sage would be so cute and hey a little pop of that pink sounds like it would be 🤌🏾 chefs kiss
An idea for the wall is do half the sage Green and half the pink so you both get the colors you want like top half pink bottom half sage green
you two are great parents already ❤
But being a new momma means u overthink everything
i still can’t believe this!!
Sage and Pink colors for the room would look pretty honestly
you're not a failure for struggling during pregnancy! some of the best moms i know hated being pregnant
Don’t worry about being a failure I know you feel that way but you are not even with anxiety what good questions btw and answers
You both are so cute xx
I wasnt a very healthy eater when i was pregnant with my daughter. But ive always told moms to just eat whatever your baby will let you keep down
For the baby’s nursery you could do a green wall but with some pink dots, feathers or some tiny flowers
I threw up every day all day for 8 months. You’re doing great. Everyone’s different. And if there is another pregnancy it could be 100% different too.
Not easy for sure I’m pregnant with 2 running around it’s a hard pregnancy to but you got this ever pregnancy and everyone is different
I threw up 1-5 times a day from week 6-19 lmao. I had a ROUGH pregnancy and had the same mindset of idk how I'll have another child. But once my son was born (with the epidural) OMG I feel like I could have 50 more littles lmao
I moved with a newborn and it was definitely not fun was very stressful but we also weren't expecting to have a baby 3 weeks early
She name is kataleya shanaya hewitt 💗
I'm 3 months pregnant 💗
you guys great parents
But you are definitely not a failure 🤍 it’s normal :)
My older sister loves being pregnant and I hated it lol so don’t worry!
When I was pregnant with my son I was puking all the way up to the end of my second trimester and I was also the same way about feeling my son kicking lol just watch out bc she might kick your ribs my son did it a lot lol so happy to be able to watch your journey so happy for you and Steve 💜💜 love you guys so much
The "moring sickness" is due to hormonal changes. And the nausea differs from person to person some don't and others all the time.
My due date is February 7th. 😊 Congratulations on you little one! 💕
11 weeks and 2 days pregnant
You are not weak at all! I was also nauseous for a lot of my pregnancy. My doctor gave me nausea medication which really helped! Maybe see if your doctor can do the same. Also, I am similar to you with medical stuff. Not so much about organs but about bones and something being wrong. And I found that the birth was the best part of being pregnant. Ik how strange. I had the same approach of not thinking about it and trusting my doctors. You are doing great!
It’s wild to me ppl are already asking about the second when the first isn’t even here. Just live in the moment.
The first pregnancies are usually always the hardest don’t stress about it too much because odds are it’s probably nothing but pregnancy jitters
