hi m8, can i make a suggestion on spodding... walking back and forth to the bucket means you are making it more difficult to get your eye in on the target area. maybe take the bucket to your casting spot and then its a simple repeat of each cast... just a suggestion but it all helps when seeking accurate casts. Keep the faith, it will happen!

Hey Brian, yer I am going to get a spod stand / Station, and I am using a far bank marker to my spot but yer I do need to get the bucket in a better position. Thanks for the comment 👍

@@MarksCarpFishingDiary I find casting accuracy comes easier with less variables and lots of practise. My late Father, who was a crack shot in the RAF, always said it took three shots with a new rifle to get your eye in... I've used that method and pride myself on casting accuracy by reducing the moves and repeating the same exact process when trying to hit a spot. Your horizon marker is a great sighting aid. Even standing at the same exact spot matters when trying to put evry cast on a 'bin lid' Keep the faith!

Beeps all night and winding in with no bottom baits on is classic crayfish activity, find out whether your syndicate holds them👍 best of luck 🤞

I'll double check on that but don't think there is, however the Nash scopex are really soft and there is abit of low weed on places so could of been on the reel in that it came off. But thanks for the info and I'll double check 🎣🎣

Sorry I'm confused! Back to basics , snowman rig , glue, sticky krill with powder on .... back to basics is sweetcorn and hemp with dead or alive maggots ! 7/8 inch braid hook length with corn on hair ! Or partical with pellet or corn on hair 🤔. Which ever magazine you have been reading which says basics is what your using is just getting you to buy sticky Krill and glug and whatever else your doing to your bait .

Hi, sorry I may have not made it clear when I said back to basics I was referring to the standard hair rig not in terms of bait and so on, as more recently I have been using Stiff Hinge rigs and Ronnie rigs and some others. I should of made it more clear.. 🎣🎣🎣
