I have been following your channel right before you found Oliver. With all the love and care that you gave him I absolutely loved it when he went for her first swim. Back to Oliver. He has turned into a Budweiser Clydesdale. Luv yo7 and family. Take care
Thank you for another update on your homestead! They make me smile and feel so good, I always rush through my chores when I see a new video has been posted so I can watch it. Emeri you have such a kind and warm voice when you give us updates. ❤️❤️❤️
Bob definitely is happy. Hes a pretty cool horse. Humble old man horse. He got so many mares & offsprings. Does he know all of his kids? Boots, Happy, Worthy, now hes got 3 more on the way from this video. I bet I missed a few not knowing. The mares definitely love Bob too. 😂
Souix and Oliver could produce and amzing foal. Could you imagine a colored Oliver? He is so gorgeous now. His transformation has been amazing. Has become one handsome stud. And Souix is just beautiful too. Can't wait to see if you guys try again. Excited 🎉❤❤🎉🎉
Thank you for this update! Emery, you are so nice to listen to! God made your voice for this business, and you speak really well, without filler words, and clarity of thought.
I so agree ! Emeri has an especially lovely Voice . ( and then …. JR has a great voice for humorously delivered info 😊) and daughter Bekah has a sweet soothing voice for horse-training !! 🐴🥰 ( i bet other fam sounds good but … have not heard them YET ☺️) 👍
I’m kinda sad that Sioux isn’t preggers, but if you’re not worried about Oliver’s ability to make the magic happen, then neither am I. 😊. I’m glad everybody else is doing well and I am looking forward to the crop of Spring foals. Thank you for sharing!
Oliver had a very rough start as well as being young...probably next season the gods will smile on Sioux and him! How about Kanga Rioux! Lol! I love how you care for and train your critters!
Emery, great video, so many things going on, I was kind of excited that Oliver was going to be a father but it didn't happen. Worthy is absolutely beautiful, I love watching her run so gracefully. ❤
Thank you for this great video. Loved all the stories and updates. Your horses are beautiflul. Thank you for taking care of dear Oliver, Can,t wait to see a baby Oliver next year ....maybe
No ideas for a name but Rosie Bobbie Rue is great! Some horses just seem to find trouble, don't they. I had a horse like that. Seemed like every time I turned around he needed my help or the vet's help, meanwhile wondering how did that happen?! No idea on the color of the foal between the liver chestnut and dark palomino. Both horses are gorgeous! And last, Worthy is beautiful. Looking forward to updates. Thanks so much for rhe video!
I actually would have been amazed to have heard that Oliver covered a mare at his age and after what he has been through and had anything result from it. Although he looks great on the outside, as if he had but all his previous issues behind and was fully whole, that's not always how it works with animals. It's important, especially for herd and pack animals, although to some degree in all mammals and avians, that they look as good as possible on the outside as that can determine how they fair in their social groups and get treated accordingly. This is why so many animal owners are caught up short when they immediately head to the vet when an animal starts looking poorly, only to learn that their animal hs been ill for a long period if time. Looking unwell can put you at risk of being a target of a predator who equates a sick looking animal to a target, or problems with a herd or pack seeing a member that may be unable to hold their own or hold the herd or pack back. It's important to remember that Oliver is genetically disposed to put everything into looking good visually , looking in prime health, even uf he is still months away from rebuilding all those internal things that make him top notch inside as well as out. While EPM, even once cleared is unlikely to leave him sterile it is likely to leave him with a low sperm count until both his immune system and his hormonal balance is back to a health state. Plus a stallion his age is not yet really be ready to prove just how good a stud he is and best luck, short of artificial means, might just be to leave them to pasture breeding, starting before the mare is in season and letting Oliver adjust to things as she comes into season. You can always use markers to have a good idea of what dated they mated on. And if not successful this fall, given a chance for more gealing and growth over the winter he certainly should be able to sir his first foal next year.
Thanks for the update! Was hoping there would be a baby for Oliver and Sioux, but there's always another time. Sounds like there's plenty going on elsewhere. :)
Thankyou for the update , realy fun . Oliver , everything had happened so fast with him .going slower is fine I just like looking at him in pasture with his buddys . Thanks again
Yay!!❤ Can’t wait to see all the babies once it’s time. They all look beautiful and healthy. Oliver is still young so there’s plenty of time to try again. That would be amazing! 😊
You know, the other day when I was looking at one of your horse videos - the one with all the horses paired off- it did look to me that you had several pregnant mares! I’m not really a horse person so this is neat that I was right! Congratulations to you - looks like another busy Spring at Homestead Horsrmanship😊
Better luck next time for Sioux and Oliver ! I was hoping for this time but God had other plans. Looks like everyone else is doing well . Keep up the good work !!!
Thank you Emery for this very detailed report. Loved each bit of it. It’s a pity Sioux is not pregnant to Oliver but I’m sure it’s just a “not YET”. ❤️🌷
I was thinking about maybe side effects of the EPM meds....could they make him shoot blanks ....for a while maybe??? 🤷♀️ ....I was just hoping soooo dang much there'd be an Oliver Jr 😆 🐴🐎 Oh well....next year!! 🤞💞 btw. ...Big Bob is a Pro it seems 😆
There will be a baby Oliver one day, 3 babies is enough for now, Worthy is a cute name, she is a pretty and confident horse. Your such a lovely family. Thank you xxxxx
If you use Rioux in a foal’s name, you should pronounce it like you do Sioux’s name, a Homestead Horsemanship trademark!!! Great update Emeri, thank you so much!! And oh, Worthy is gorgeous 💖
I can't wait and I might be having 3 foals around the time you are also. Neighbors had a stud come in for some training and 4 days in a row found in my pasture with my mares....
Wow that’s amazing thank you. It helps more than you know because UA-cam likes when viewers do that because they get a piece so then they push my content more. I’m off work next week so lots of videos coming.
So pretty! Never was really a lover of horses till started watching Heartland..then found you guys when the Oliver videos started. Wondering when they look like they're twitching or having spasms on the videos..is that just reacting to the Flys or why do they do that while grazing? Ty for all u do and I will getting some amazon out to you for the holidays. ❤
How about Annie Rose for a Rosie filly? Or Roseanne? If it’s a colt, Bob Too or Bobby 2. But only if he’s a palomino like its dad! Naming babies is fun!
I love it that people send you gifts and you take the time to show them all and thank the gift givers.
Worthy us so beautiful 😍 ❤❤❤❤😊!
And what to say about Worthy, She is beyond stunning. Wow! 👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I like the name Ruby for Rosie and Bob’s foal - if a filly.
Love Oliver but bob is a magnificent sight in the field. Be nice to see a foal with his colouring❤

Too bad about not having an Oliver foal but he’s young yet and has many breeding years ahead of him.
No matter when, I think Oliver and Soix would make a gorgeous baby. 🎉❤
I'm still looking forward to seeing Oliver's first baby no matter when it comes. ❤❤❤❤❤❤. He still has a long way to go yet.😊😊

Rosie is a beauty. Thanks for the updates.
I don't care what color the babies are. I believe the horse is the prettiest animal there is. As for Bob - what a stud muffin.
Thank you for the lovely updates on the " other " lucky horses 🤠

@@homesteadhorsemanship Yeah, a lot of your horses are VERY well filled out😊😊😊🥰
That’s going to be a huge baby, need to have a vet available.
The mare determines the size of the foal--not the stallion....
Btw.... Oliver looks AMAZING!
Good work on saving and caring for him ❤
Foal suggested name: Baton Rouge

Hello 👋 from Arkansas
I’m Oliver will be a daddy when it’s time!
Bobby Rose La Rue call her Rue. That names so cute. We had a dog named rudabagga. Named by a child and we called her rue.
Sweet video! ❤️
You look amazing 🥂🙏
How about Annie Rose for a Rosie filly? Or Roseanne? If it’s a colt, Bob Too or Bobby 2. But only if he’s a palomino like its dad! Naming babies is fun!
