This is an excellent format. You could start a trend with this one. The more realistic it gets, the better for YT'ers to judge value. Thanks for the effort
Just watching Collin sweat through his shirt is a good wake up. Call for anybody wanting to move to Thailand. I live in South Florida in currently working for the post office delivering mail with a truck that doesn’t have a C so I think I could survive there but I’m originally from Maine and I don’t think a lot of my friends would like it there during this heat wave.
Lol... the heat and humidity are pretty much a year 'round occurrence. It's just hotter in the "winter" (Nov-Mar). I usually just carried a small microfiber towel everywhere I went because I was dripping! I did acclimate a bit after about a month. 😅
Smart choice. What struck me was that the Riviera seemed so much more spacious than the Copa, which seemed much smaller due to the layout. The Aeras was the clear winner. More space and the price is right 👍
Copacabana is a nightmare. Full of short stay AirBnb No respect for property. Garbage everywhere. Elevators you will wait for up to 10 minutes if not longer. It was great but now all downhill No more maintenance..
Great video, but it always drives me nutz when you have a Black kitchen, stainless steal appliances and a bright WHITE washer. I would have to call someone who does car wrap and wrap it in black to blend in. I see it all the time. Safe travels
Copa is the shiny new toy in town, and that's what the Thai & Chinese buyers want. I looked at it and came to the same opinion as you... overpriced for what you get. In Jomtien, Aeras is good, as is Cetus. Reflection, if you can afford it. Further south is The Whale Marina, and even further down in Bang Saray, the Del Mare and Mirage. I'm more drawn to the north end... Na Kluea. Zire, Wong Amat Tower, North Point, and The Palm. View Talay 3A occassionaly has some nice units... oldie but a goodie. There is nothing I really care for up on Pratamnak. Maybe Panora. I'll skip anything in Central Pattaya.
Last condo was my preferred choice. Looks more functional and it was spacious. I don’t understand all those who love Riviera condos, it’s just a mess of styles which makes it look overglamorous. As a single I don’t want to pay for play rooms and library or any other service space or expensive lights. I understand we have different taste, but it still surprises me. Good video though 👍
Great choice, I did like the first one for 18,000 but just for another 5000 you get so much more space, I know in a previous video you said you were looking at a two bedroom with that much space you could actually put in a small hideaway bed. If somebody comes to visit every once in a while I don’t know the facilities for that condo complex but I’m sure it’s nice.
Nice videos. Hey on your first video with Collin you looked at one in The Residence condo, I like that one the best, do you think it is still available? Plus we have friends who live across the street in the DG2 complex. Willie & Bernadette
I really prefer the older buildings you get more space 18 000 is to much 10 000 is sufficient for a single man I think your gonna be out most of the time
Great choice, Collin! Welcome to the neighborhood.

Thanks. He's the second subscriber I've done this with. I enjoy it. If anyone wants to shop on camera, let me know!
Good to see Colin up and about
Thank you, buddy, for uploading these videos so we have decent knowledge about housing, prices, etc.
You're welcome. Glad you're finding value in them.

He's lived in hot climates around the world and moved here from Vietnam.

Good size on the last one! Good call 👍🏼
Really felt bigger than 50 to me.

Great observation. Thanks for watching.
Aeras would be my pick too! Can't beat that price and it was huge!
It's a very nice building.
I pay 10K THB a month in Orient Resort, but could have paid 8K off season in Serenity Wongamat
Glad you're happy with what you found.
Good choice, Aeras has great views, The other two were really overpriced.
Copacabana is a nightmare. Full of short stay AirBnb No respect for property. Garbage everywhere. Elevators you will wait for up to 10 minutes if not longer. It was great but now all downhill No more maintenance..
Good info. Thanks for watching and sharing your experience.
The last one is the best choice!
The second one is 36000 BAHT per month. That's ridiculous!
25k at best. Premium for a new building and close to beach. They want double what other luxury buildings are asking.
I know it’s hot, but the brother looks like he just ran a marathon

🤣
Nice pick
Agreed. Thanks for watching
Hard no on the price at Copacabana. 39sq for 36k more like 25k tops.
Copa is expensive

Did you negotiate the price at all?
Sometimes you can
Great video did you or will you do i video of Colins condo and show us around.
He picked one in this video.
I think I’m more in the 12-15 k baht budget and I like to be near the action of central Pattaya
Thanks for watching
Great choice

The 3rd unit is way too expensive! 29 sq meters at 25000. OBSCENE!
Thank you🤗 what floor was the one at the Aeras?
I want to say 24?

Willie & Bernadette
Yes, send me an email.
I think a bit remote location, it should be cheaper...🤔
I have a 2 bedroom 1 bath. 54 sqm for 11,000 baht per month. Rimhaad Condo Jomtien Beach Condo.
He looked there in the first video but chose Aeras as a better fit for him. Thanks for watching.
@@qwantstotravel that is a fair price for a 2 bedroom place !
I really prefer the older buildings you get more space 18 000 is to much 10 000 is sufficient for a single man I think your gonna be out most of the time
Everyone defines their own happiness and budget.
Brother was sweating, dude needs some cold air on him
Thailand man...
The first one is a shoebox and too expensive!
Do you ever get used to the HEAT? He's sweating like a maniac!
No you never get use to it many leave about the 5 year mark for exactly that reason but none of these UA-camrs talk about that
Everyone takes it differently. I love the heat.
How do I connect with Collin, I’d love to welcome him with a nice cold Chang.
Collin welcome Home neighbor
Glad I was able to introduce you guys in the lobby.
If there’s no pets allowed, this place would be perfect for me 🤔
Aeras does not allow pets.
@@RetiringToAsia Hello Mike, do you have a list for condos that allow pets, I have a well behaved 5-7lb toy poodle.
