God doesn’t always choose to heal a person physically but seems to heal certain people spiritually

Joni Eareckson Tara is PERFECT example of quadriplegic who has been SO FRUITFUL in her suffering.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

I’ve been battling Cystic Fibrosis for the past 14 years. (I was diagnosed at 38) I believe God is a healer even if He chooses not to heal me. God does not have to prove to me that He is a healer by healing me. He is what His Word says He is.
The men and women of Hebrews 11:13 all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and God is not ashamed to be called their God. More than my healing, my heart’s desire is that God not be ashamed to be called my God.
In Jesus, there is joy, comfort and peace even in the midst of suffering and He is worth it.
I have been battling poor health for 40 years with each year getting worse. Last week I started to complain to God. I felt like Job. I repented right away because I too know not what I am talking about. Along the way God has helped me in different ways and I do not want to be ungrateful. I want to praise Him no matter what. I sure am tired though and hope to go home soon.
Lord give us the grace and strength to forgive and love each other.
May we live in Peace and instill it others.

Precious Ehi sorry but that’s not biblical at all. It is up to us to get healed. Jesus healed everybody physically 2000 years ago and he gave us authority. If you don’t use it how will the healing be manifest? Jesus lives in us and his power has to come trough us, for example by speaking.

Lu CC Then why did Jesus REFUSE to heal Paul of the ‘thorn in his side’? HE said to Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you”. You are out of line brother.
T. B. That was NOT a sickness ! It was a angel of satan bc trough him a lot of people came to Christ. It was a barrier from satan to make it difficult for Paul but this had make Paul stronger to let Jesus more life trough him. From this point Jesus could increase in his life even more !! So Paul could bring more people to Jesus despite this barrier. He had grown so to say, bc of his own he never could had stand this barrier. That’s what God has meant.
Jesus carried ALL diseases and by his stripes we are healed. He made us free from the things of this world.

Wow. What a testimony! I truly believe that God didn't answer those healing prayers (yet) is because He is giving some reward way better than physical healing.
18 years ago I was diagnosed with MS. God healed some of it in the beginning 6 months after I was diagnosed. But not all of it. Then in 2012 I was healed again for 2 weeks and slowly it went away. As it is now I'm in a wheelchair I can only use one hand. It's been a slow process. But yes when you're like this you may as well serve the Lord until he heals you! I don't know why my healing went away but it's this point it doesn't matter all that matters is God
34 years ago; Yeshuah heal me completely from a Myasthenia Gravis diagnostic.
3 years ago I’ve had a small stroke; today; I can say that if I’m not completely to full recovery; I’m going to get there thanks to the love and compassion of YAWEH and He’s Son Yeshuah. 🙏🏼
I'm so thankful that this story was shared. God bless this young man, He reminds me of Joni Eareckson Tada. I know his life will matter so much, and in heaven he will be lifted so very high! Joni gave her life to the Lord and wow-how many people have been saved and helped because of her testimony? The so called "prosperity" gospel isn't true, and so harmful to so many people. It dosn't mean we don't have good things in this life, but we should expect to share in Christ's sufferings here, just like the apostles did. I believe that the people Jesus trusts with the hardest things will be the most blessed in heaven, and that He will be present with them every step of the way here. What a beautiful young man.

Sometimes we don’t get healed. Life is different for everyone. I’ve been sick 42 years and I just accept it now. It’s not easy but I keep my eyes on heavenly things.

My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ healed me from gastritis. It resulted from a lifetime of eating too much chili and other spicy food. I had to switch over to a bland diet, eating minimally seasoned food and avoiding other things like milk, chocolate, or anything processed. Although my health demanded I eat bland food, Jesus still took care of me. I even call myself blessed that I had gastritis instead of a bleeding ulcer. I would often remind myself and my family of God’s goodness in the midst of my sickness. Also I didn’t have to go through any surgeries, just treatment with medications. God even made a promise to me personally that He would heal me. I learned throughout my waiting time to love the promise Keeper more than the promise itself. Just wanted to share my healing testimony and to encourage you, that God can be glorified in the midst of suffering. God bless you!

When I was a kid I was in swimming class and I went underwater. I think there was like a bubble that went into my nose and I could breathe for like half a second underwater. It was so weird.

Jesus Christ is Lord and savior
I feel really bad for what happened to this young man. But you want to talk about suffering? Talk to victims of Child Abuse. But you know what there aren’t a lot around. Most turn to alcohol and drugs to try to cope and end up dead before they get to be my age. For some reason, God helped and PROTECTED me at times. My Grand Mother helped me when I lived by her and took me to church and bought me a Children’s Bible. I read books a lot. If you stay quiet you are much less likely for them to notice you and HURT you.
Yes, I lived through it, kept a fairly good mind and Loved the Lord for helping me. One time I am POSITIVE at least one angel kept us from getting shot.
I grew up married a man who was diagnosed as being bi-polar. That was REALLY HARD to cope with. We divorced after far too long. I can see how being abused twisted my way of looking at life and situations. I blew a couple of good chances in life. I pretty much blew EVERYTHING in my life.
I made mistakes and didn’t always serve the Lord. One time after something bad happened I thought about all the hurt in my life and started to think that I was someone that God just didn’t like. I was just someone that HORRIBLE things happened to and I just had to take it and try to cope.
But I eventually came back to the Lord. I I am glad I did. I spend a lot of time alone because I just cannot cope with a lot of things.
I hope this young man does well and does not miss out on too much life,like I did.

An omnipotent being has no excuse for the existence of suffering. An omnipotent being can create a universe where it does not happen, and never could happen.
He has, it's called heaven. All of eternity with Him, no more pain or suffering.

Robert Geiter no everybody can be healed here in earth. Jesus healed everybody on the cross. Jesus gave you the authority over all sickness by the way. Now it’s your job to heal by the power of Christ. Don’t trust what men says. Of course you can be healed
Don't listen to Lu CC. Jesus never promised that everyone would be healed on Earth. In heaven we will have our glorified bodies.

Remove Jesus from your prayers and ask Lord directly who is the Lord of Jesus too. According to God, as mentioned in Quran, this life is temporary and the sufferings here are temporary too. God is gracious and most merciful and He promised that when His slaves accept the sufferings of this world while believing in Him, He will recompense them immensely in the next world. We cannot understand sufferings of this world if we end the journey of life here. God created life for eternity and we just entered into the first and shortest phase of it. The next phase is much longer. This life is a test and everyone's question paper is different.
Jesus is our mediator to the father..he is our intercessor. The only wat to the father is through his son Jesus.

That makes a lot of sense. However, I'm not taking Jesus out of my prayers. I've been in constant pain for almost 22 years, now. I know God will heal me but for now, I'm just keeping my faith. I know what He does is always for good. Romans 8:28 has been my life verse. God bless you.
