What a strange coincidence, or was it thought transference? Yesterday I was thinking about which German song was successful in the UK and hadn't been played for a long time. And now today the Rattles from Hamburg with The Witch, masterfully reworked and in unprecedented quality. Thank you Pat.

Never came across this Decca single before and liking it first time of hearing. They recorded it in 1968 and in 1970 with a different lead singer. Better on headphones this one. They did record zip-a-dee-doo-dah which was a minor hit for them. Interesting this one Pat.
Don't forget 'Moscow', a fine song by The Wonderland, arranged by James Last, who was famous in England too in the 70s. Achim Reichel's second band after The Rattles
