amazing concept ,amazing teacher and an amazing session .
we can also solve the 1st question with an another concept that is :-
we can solve it in two parts -
#1st part is to distribute 3 chocolates to 3 person
that can be done in { (2^3)-1 }ways that is 7.
here { 2 denotes the possibilities of events (person will get a chocolate or not)} and { power 3 denotes that 3 such chocolates are there } and we have subtracted 1 from 8 because there will be a possibility where no one is getting any of the three chocolate, but as we have to distribute it thats why we have removed that possibility.
#2nd part is to distribute the remaining 2 chocolates to 3 people
that can be done in 3c2 ways that is 3
#Answer - 7*3=21 ways

Arey it's just a numbering mistake
If the question comes in which it is asking like " At most " type questions?
then you can first calculate total no. of cases and then substract the cases where someone getting more than "At most". for example a+b+c = 10 where a≤ 4. here calculate total ways as 12c2 . now if a≥ 5 then a'+b+c = 5 then no. of ways 7c2.
answer = total ways - ways in which a≥ 5
i.e. 12c2-7c2

How to solve a question using this technique if there are total 5 persons(A B C D E) each should get atleast one chocolate and A must get at least 3 chocolate at most 6 chocolate. Total no of chocolates are 15

How can the second method be applied in a case where you have 5 different toys with 3 identical boxes
we don't care whether the boxes are different in any case unless if it's mentioned .We can't apply the M-2 for your question as it would be only valid when the THINGS ,WHICH WE ARE DISTRIBUTING ,are identical.And as far as the answer for ur question goes, it would be same as distributing 1 to 5 nos in a 3 digit space
3 digit spaces are different here as u have HUNDREDS , TENS , and UNITS place .....so u got ur answer

Note that he is talking about symbols not gaps so 5 chocolates and 2 lines together gives you 7 symbols so basically you are making grps of 2 from 7 as only 2 gaps needs to be filled to satisfy the A+B+C=5

7! bcoz there are 5 circle and 2 partition. So, total 7 signs which means 7!
In method 2 (Time 10:25), why cannot it be solved by the logic that 2 lines have 6 places to go, which leads to 6C2? Similar logic we have applied in Part 6 for no 2 digits/letters should be together. Can anyone explain the reason?
One reason is that the lines can also be overlapping at the end (i.e. 0 to A an 0 to B), is there any way to work around it?
