This worked on the PS5 version but you have to do this exactly: step 1 U need to have a save from a completed playthrough. The difficulty or playtime doesnt matter. This can be a PS5 save or an imported PS4 save. If u load up this save, it should start the very last cutscene where Drake catchs his daughter snooping in his closet. We call this save A. step 2 Start a new game. Do not carry over your stats, so select no. Use an new empty saveslot for this game. step 3 In the very beginnning a quote from Francis Drake in white letters appears. Pause the game and save it. Use the saveslot from step 2 to overwrite it. We call this save B. After this quit to the main menu. step 4 ( chapter select is no longer an option) Load up save A. U can skip the cutscene or wait until the credits start rolling after the cutscene. step 5 When the credits start rolling, load up save B. When the game starts playing, pause it and quit to the main menu Step 6 In the main menu go to extras and select credits. Trophy should pop immediately.
@@anuragdas1284 I earned it with my console connected to the internet. Also do not worry if you see a loading screen that is like 20 or more minutes long when starting the epilogue. I don't know why I had to sit through a loading screen but regardless I still got the platinum.
I can confirm this works on the newly released version(Legacy of Thieves Collection Version 1.001.00) of the game. See below.. 1. Start a New Game - ensure that you RESET Treasures and Stats and create a new save 2. When the white writing appears after loading (before the boat sequence in the Prologue), press Options and manually save over the save you just made. 3. Exit to the Main Menu 4. Load your Save Game that you finished the game with - it will load you to the middle of the Epilogue where you can skip the cinematic. Credits will start. No trophy will pop. 5. In the Credits press Options and load the save you created in Step 1. After loading, exit to Main Menu 6. Go to Extras and Credits 7. Speedrun trophy pops as soon as the credits start. I can not confirm if any other trophies will pop as I got them on my first play through. I hope this helps people, we have to many games to play to have to worry about speed runs. But if you're into that kind of thing, have fun!
It worked for me, cheers for the simple explanation. I can confirm other trophies (higher difficulty completion for example) does not pop. Only speedrun.
It's March 12th, 2019 and I can confirm this still works. I un-installed everything, just game disc, turned Internet connection off, followed the beginning on the video and just did my own thing on the Epilogue, skipped final scene and Trophy popped right when the credits started. Had to wait 20 minutes or so for an update for Epilogue to load, probably installing. Also I did it in Explorer, just to get through the Intro faster. There is absolutely no reason for this Trophy, not even a timer, glad for this glitch.
OKAY! for anyone that doesn’t have a disc follow these steps for version 1.33 (the link i sent from the original post for these steps just gets deleted so i’ll just copy paste) Step by step: 1. Turn of your Internet 2. Delete your profile from Saved Data on PS4 but keep your previous Save with which you completed the game. 3. Launch the game. 4. Start the New Game - RESET Treasures and Stats and create a new Save. 5. Load your Save Game that you finished the game with - it will load you to mid Epilogue and you can skip the cinematic. Credits will start. No trophy, but do not worry. 8. Play Credits - Trophy Pops. it worked no problem but when you go back online you’ll notice that you don’t have ur trophy anymore. just go to your profile then go to trophies and then press the select button on Uncharted 4 and “Sync with Playstation Network” and it should load right back up.

awesomeness. worked for me. took a little fiddling around to get the chapter select to show me all levels. what I ended up doing was starting new game, quit on boat wipers back to menu, load the completed save then loading the save 2 while in game on save 1, quitting on boat windshield wipers , bam. had all the levels in the list. picked epilogue got the trophy. thanks
As of May 2018, you have to do a fresh disc install with no updates. For me, the trophy just wouldn’t pop. I was able to get the level select to work and I even got the Sharpshooter trophy to pop... but the Speed Run just wouldn’t happen. I tried over 5 times, repeating my steps... no luck. After getting all of the other trophies, what else did I have to lose but to delete ALL saves except my completed play through, delete the game, go offline, reinstall, and run these steps. After that, Everything worked as is did in this video. Thanks for posting it.

Ruben F. Yeah, it was a bit of a pain in the ass, but reinstalling the game offline was a lot faster than having to do that Speedrun. It does take a while to reinstall the game though. Just keep that in mind.
Unfortunately, this should only work if you have the disc version of the game and by finishing the game once. I got three trophies by doing these methods: For SHARPSHOOTER trophy: 1. If you have 3 or more save files, delete them until you only have two save files (Save File 1 & Save File 2). 2. Start new game on Easy mode, still retaining your collected treasures, and save it on Save File 2 (NOT FILE 1!) or overwrite it. 3. As soon as the scene starts with the boat, quit to main menu. 4. Select any encounter that has enemies on it and enable lock-on aim. Regularly check your statistics. If it's 70% above, save again on Save File 2. 5. Chapter select Epilogue on Save File 2 and play until the credits. 6. Congrats you got the trophy! For CRUSHING (+ stackables) and SPEEDRUN: 1. Delete game and make sure to disconnect internet on your system. 2. Load up disc and start new game on Crushing mode (you can overwrite Save File 2) 3. Play until you reach Chapter 1 with little Nathan on the roof, then quit to main menu. 4. Chapter select Epilogue (again on Crushing mode) and overwrite Save File 2. 5. Play until the end credits. 6. Congrats! You just obtained the trophies for CRUSHING (including stackables) and SPEEDRUN! Working as of 4/3/2020
@@zelkakp6508 you can try by going through the Prologue and hitting most of your shots on the guys on the boat (checking stats is key), before quitting to main menu instead of doing Encounter Select.
READ: Ok, before you comment saying that this didn't work because ''it has been patched'', it hasn't. The glitch is still working as of Patch 1.03. ALSO - Some people have mentioned whether the 2nd Save File has to be the same difficulty as the first one. Well, I can't be sure if this is true, but if the glitch isn't working at first, I suggest doing that. FINALLY, I recommend trying the glitch multiple times before giving up and commenting saying that it doesn't work. If you have a *physical version* of the game exit to PS4's main menu and delete the application. *You won't lose your original save file.* Remove the disc, turn off the internet, put the disc back in and that's it.
I finally got it to work. I took my save files and saved them to the online storage. then I erased the all the files except the the first saved file that I beat the game on and then I followed the video. I knew it was going to work when I exit the chapter 1 and was able to chapter select to epilogue. the previous times I tried it would not have the levels available but this time it did. thanks to everybody. I know I would not be able to actually do the speedrun for real

still works you have to have disc version, play trough the game 1 time and only have 1 save file=> delete game and turn internet off => insert disc again so its on version 1.00 => do as shown in the video and boom , thank you man that speedrun was my last trophy and i really didnt want to do it since i think that uncharted is too beautiful too speedrun it, second platinum :)

Works perfectly. Remember to pay attention to the video and its audio, do everything it says exactly. It must be patch 1.03 or below, you must save on save file slot 2 and something not mentioned in the video is you need to use a different difficulty than your last playthrough, when you save at Chapter 1 and then quit out to the menu, you need to overwrite save file slot 2 you were just using for Chapter 1 with the data for the Epilogue, select the same difficulty you did with the prologue as well.

Another confirm that it works. got it on my 3rd try. (patch 1.03). Those who have issues, try closing the game, delete save game 2, launch the game, set the new game with the same difficulty that you completed the first playthrough (moderate in my case, without any assist of any type). And then proceed as in the video. My first two tries were another difficulty in both cases, one of them was crushing and the other explorer with assists and neither of them worked. GLHF.

Confirmed, this method does still work in November of 2020. Just follow the instructions in this video and you'll be good to go. Make sure you have the physical version of the game. Disconnect from internet, uninstall the game, reinstall the game and begin to follow his instructions. If anyone has questions, go ahead and ask.

Holy crap, something insane just happened, I came here with the intention of utilising this exploit and I was looking for the version of the game I had (1.03 - 1.04 etc) but I couldn't find where to look. So I went to the credits under the extras menu and as I did that the Speed Run Trophy popped, zero delay like other trophies as well. Here's what I did: 1 - Deleted all save games except my profile and one completed game file (epilogue Pic). 2 - Loaded up the game and went straight to the credits.. that's it! Hope it works for you, or maybe its the luckiest Trophy glitch ever!
This is hilarious, just got sharpshooter trophy and plat doing the same thing. 1 - Do step one above. 2 - If your stats are at zero then this should work, load up the save, go to encounter select, kill one enemy making your hit ratio 100%. 3 - Exit to main menu, select extras menu then credits, walah, both trophies popped!
MrReign I know you did this message ages ago but I just tried it and it still works. I was on chapter 11 on my speedrun and I just clicked on extra ,,,, credits for a laugh and boom done. Although I will add for anyone else patch 1.32 was downloading in the background and this might fix it so if it's downloading pause the download.
This works like a charm. I say this as of February 2018. What I think isn’t mentioned is that you must upload your profile and 1 save game to your cloud, delete your patched U4, reinstall it while your PS4 is disconnected from the internet. Follow said instructions and my speedrun trophy and platinum popped up. Thanks, Bro
Thanks man, I only had four trophies left, Charted! - Crushing, Charted! - Hard, Sharpshooter, Charted! - Speedrun Those would've taken me 3 time to finish and would've been pain to finish, but this legend just showed up and made me get the platinum in less than an hour (I had to make some loading for 30 minutes to start the epilogue)
You forgot to mention that this only works on disc game version 1.0 and have to disconnect internet and delete game. Then re-download without internet connection.
READ: I attempted this glitch today (20 May 2016) and it WORKED. I did this on patch 1.03. Patch 1.04. was downloading on my system but I paused the download and continued with the glitch on 1.03 so I am unable to say whether it will be fixed but I would recommend not downloading the new patch if you want to do attempt this glitch. I set the difficulty level to the same level that I did my first playthrough with, which was moderate. So I can confirm that this works. Thanks to the uploader for posting this and saving me some free time.
I confirm it... It still works... Things you have to do: keep the same difficulty as the original playthrough. Do not play chapter 1 or the prologue, just skip as soon as you start chapter 1, to avoid auto saving. Then start the epilogue through chapter select and save on the second save file (the same one you started the glitch with) then skip the cutscenes until you reach the credits, where you will get your trophy. As of May 19th 2016. Did not work for me the first two tries, but the third worked.
+Exertuz Start a new game and choose to keep your treasure and save in the second slot, now as soon as the boat cutscene starts go to the menu and choose go to main menu. You should now be able to chapter select and still see all chapters -> select epilogue in the same difficulty you just started a new game and start the epilogue. It will ask you to save. Overwrite the save and play through epilogue. This will pop the achievement.
be more specific. When you exit right as the boat scene starts, do you have the chapter select now with all chapters? Do you have more than 1 save file? Did you start the boat scene on save file 2?
DaftMANIA I deleted all of my save files prior, except for my original one (where I beat the game on) and my profile. I started the boat scene on save 2 and quit right away and I still didn't have all the chapters. I did it again and this time I quit a bit later to see if it made a change but nothing happened, once again.
I feel like they didn’t patch this to make it impossible to get, just to make it a little bit more difficult and give this method that bit more of a “pirate-y” feel so that having you get something you didn’t actually work for, just the bare minimum, can be compared to like robbing wealthy people of their wealth by attacking their ship, but in this case have you go uninstall the game and reinstall it without internet connection and no update files, to beat the game in less than 15 minutes, even tough you didn’t even touch anything but the prologue and epilogue).

Ghadente The way he shows it is confusing. Try it this way after you have of course beat the game once. 1. Start a new game and create a new slot for it. Make sure there is only two saved slots. Also when it ask to keep all your treasures select yes. 2. When the new game starts you will see that first quote. Pause the game and select save and save on that new file you just created. 3, After you have saved quit and go to the main menu. Then go to story>chapter select>epilogue. When you pick epilogue it will ask to overwrite select yes and choose the new file that you made to overwrite. It will then ask to autosave and select yes. 4. Complete epilogue and when the credits roll just exit to main menu and trophy will pop up. This is exactly what I did and got it first try. This was about two hours ago I tried it. Also pick the same difficulty when ever it ask just in case.

if anyone is having problems with this trophy, the new patch stops it working, BUT if you delete uncharted 4 off your PS4 take the disc out and put it back in, so it reinstalls, it will start dowloading the recent patch/update, pause the update, now try the glitch, it will work because you are stopping the update from patching the glitch to the trophy, the only downside of this method is to skip to the epilogue you have to wait 30mins so it can install that part of the game, I hope this helps you all
Thank you for the video, i just unlocked this trophy, for those having problems with this, what you can do is "Delete the Uncharted File 49gb" this will NOT Delete your saves, then follow the instructions on this video and trophy will unlock, this Glitch was fixed by 1.04 update that is the reason why you need to delete the uncharted install file. (also after you delete the file, make sure to turn off your internet so that the update will not re-download fixing the glitch.)
So I had just finished a speed run. But unfortunately it took me 6 1/2 hours. I was all frustrated and went on youtube. Saw this video and tried it about 4 times. Then it finally worked. I had to keep deleting my second save but try again. I'm on the latest patch. So for those of you it doesn't work. Just delete it and try again til it does.
Famed i think i figured the problem, delete your second save file and create a new one to keep repeating until you get it and play both epilogue and prologue on the same difficulty as your main save
This still works (2020/11/18) . You need to be on version 1.00. Also if you haven't gotten crushing difficulty trophy . Do this method in crushing difficulty and it will also pop.
Posting to confirm that this still works as of today, July 17,2022.. if the sharpshooter trophy did not pop (just like what happened to me) play chapter 15 where you're hanging from the ropes with enemies shooting at you.. shoot the enemies and die (fall to your death) afterwards.. raise your accuracy to at least 70%.. save and quit to main menu, chapter select to epilogue and the sharpshooter trophy will unlock during credits..

I just tried it...... and it worked first time. I deleted the game from the main menu, and then re installed the game whilst not connected to the Internet. Loaded it back up, done everything he tells us to do bam I got the trophy. Anyone saying it don't work you're probably missing a step, just keep trying and watch all his video.
Those on 1.04 with a physical copy of the game, if you uninstall and reinstall the game IT WILL STILL WORK...make sure that you turn off your network on ps4 or just cancel the update. follow what others have said here: 1. Start a new game (I selected same difficulty as completed game - ie Crushing) and quit once you gain control (on the boat) 2. LOAD your completed game (save file 1) 3. Load your NEW save file (save file 2) WHILE in the menu of your completed game (save file 1) (ie don't quit to menu, load new game from old game) 4. Quit your new game (save file 2) and go back to menu 5. Click Chapter select and pick the 'Epilogue' 6. overwrite your NEW game (save file 2) when it asks where to save to 7. Just run through and finish the game 8. Trophy should pop when the end game credits start I personally deleted all of the data relating to Uncharted 4 on my PS4 (save files and everything) and then installed it while the network was turned off, I then copied my crushing completed save file from a USB stick and did the procedure as suggested above. 100% works

+GreatnessDebates If you have the disk version of the game, simply delete your game data, reinstall it, and cancel the update request (or just disconnect from the internet all together) and it'll still work. Unfortunately this isn't possible on Digital versions, as far as I'm aware.
Just did it in October 2021. Still working, even though I had 3 or 4 saves on my 1st game. The most important thing is to uninstall/reinstall the game WITHOUT the updates to make it work.
If you have the latest patch installed it's simple - back up your save file or don't it doesn't matter - put the system off line [settings, network, connect to the internet - untick this box so that the patch isn't installed ] - the follow his steps I used Explorer difficulty in both the chapters so that's just a suggestion :-) works perfectly offline vanilla game.
+Darkstar8473 PS the game needs to install the stages I believe so it takes minutes for the first level and up to half an hour for the Epilogue ... because you have the latest patch installed not the one he has to you have to completely remove the game but hey beats actually doing the speed run ...
@Olivier Derksen only works on disc delete the disc on the ps4 then turn off Internet and put the disc in and do it just make sure the game doesn't update
I just did it, it works as of 4:08 PM ast may 18th, took me 2 tries to get it to work, I had to put it on the difficulty that I chose when I started my first save game, so as far as I see it yes you have to use the difficulty you chose when you first started your save game 1

Yes it does, however you won't get the trophy for beating the game on crushing so i just decided to do it on explorer mode, made it go by quicker and there was really no point going through the trouble if I wasn't go to receive the trophy

Working 16/11/20. Physical copy needed for it to work. Must be version 1.00, disconnect from the internet and follow the video. I had multiple saves and just overwrote save 2 and it worked. Selected hard difficulty but I think you can select any difficulty

You MUST start your NEW GAME on the same difficulty that you played when beating the game on first attempt, as it never worked for me when I chose a different difficulty. Also the new game save file MUST be the 2ND SAVE FILE - any more than two save files present when attempting will result in nothing showing up when you go to chapter select. Third update. Started uncharted in crushing, chose to save all treasure, as save file 2, upon start of boat controls, I quit to menu, selected epilogue and over written in crushed mode over save file 2, started and finished epilogue, skipped up to naughty dog credits and got speed run trophy.

guy's it does work you have to uninstall the game with the latest patch, then disconnect your ps4 from the internet so you can't install the patch, then reinstall the game the follow the video and it will work, just done it 4th june 2016
I can personally confirm that this glitch still works as of update V.1.3 with internet on and without deleting the update. It's just kinda like the wall/wooden bowl glitch in Skyrim, it takes multiple tries to effectively get the glitch to "glitch". Although, I think it helped by watching all the cutscenes and going DOWN in difficulty from your previous play through, not up.

@@anuragdas1284 I earned it with my console connected to the internet. Also do not worry if you see a loading screen that is like 20 or more minutes long when starting the epilogue. I don't know why I had to sit through a loading screen but regardless I still got the platinum.

I can confirm this works on the newly released version(Legacy of Thieves Collection Version 1.001.00) of the game. See below..
1. Start a New Game - ensure that you RESET Treasures and Stats and create a new save
2. When the white writing appears after loading (before the boat sequence in the Prologue), press Options and manually save over the save you just made.
3. Exit to the Main Menu
4. Load your Save Game that you finished the game with - it will load you to the middle of the Epilogue where you can skip the cinematic. Credits will start. No trophy will pop.
5. In the Credits press Options and load the save you created in Step 1. After loading, exit to Main Menu
6. Go to Extras and Credits
7. Speedrun trophy pops as soon as the credits start.
I can not confirm if any other trophies will pop as I got them on my first play through. I hope this helps people, we have to many games to play to have to worry about speed runs. But if you're into that kind of thing, have fun!
It worked for me, cheers for the simple explanation. I can confirm other trophies (higher difficulty completion for example) does not pop. Only speedrun.

It's March 12th, 2019 and I can confirm this still works. I un-installed everything, just game disc, turned Internet connection off, followed the beginning on the video and just did my own thing on the Epilogue, skipped final scene and Trophy popped right when the credits started. Had to wait 20 minutes or so for an update for Epilogue to load, probably installing. Also I did it in Explorer, just to get through the Intro faster. There is absolutely no reason for this Trophy, not even a timer, glad for this glitch.

They only did a speed run Trophy because they had one in each of the prior games and it sucked every time.
OKAY! for anyone that doesn’t have a disc follow these steps for version 1.33 (the link i sent from the original post for these steps just gets deleted so i’ll just copy paste)
Step by step:
1. Turn of your Internet
2. Delete your profile from Saved Data on PS4 but keep your previous Save with which you completed the game.
3. Launch the game.
4. Start the New Game - RESET Treasures and Stats and create a new Save.
5. When the white writing appears after loading (before the boat sequence in the prologue), press OPTIONS and manually save over the Save you created in Step 4.
6. Exit to Main Menu
7. Load your Save Game that you finished the game with - it will load you to mid Epilogue and you can skip the cinematic. Credits will start. No trophy, but do not worry.
8. In the Credits press OPTIONS and Load the Save you created in Step 4. After loading, exit to main menu.
9. Go to Bonus and Credits.
10. Play Credits - Trophy Pops.
it worked no problem but when you go back online you’ll notice that you don’t have ur trophy anymore. just go to your profile then go to trophies and then press the select button on Uncharted 4 and “Sync with Playstation Network” and it should load right back up.

awesomeness. worked for me. took a little fiddling around to get the chapter select to show me all levels. what I ended up doing was starting new game, quit on boat wipers back to menu, load the completed save then loading the save 2 while in game on save 1, quitting on boat windshield wipers , bam. had all the levels in the list. picked epilogue got the trophy. thanks

As of May 2018, you have to do a fresh disc install with no updates. For me, the trophy just wouldn’t pop. I was able to get the level select to work and I even got the Sharpshooter trophy to pop... but the Speed Run just wouldn’t happen. I tried over 5 times, repeating my steps... no luck. After getting all of the other trophies, what else did I have to lose but to delete ALL saves except my completed play through, delete the game, go offline, reinstall, and run these steps. After that, Everything worked as is did in this video. Thanks for posting it.
Banshee Jacked Did it really work?? I hate speedruns and after beating the game in crushing the only trophie that i'll be missing is the speedrun and I dont really want to complete the game again...
Ruben F. Yeah, it was a bit of a pain in the ass, but reinstalling the game offline was a lot faster than having to do that Speedrun. It does take a while to reinstall the game though. Just keep that in mind.

Unfortunately, this should only work if you have the disc version of the game and by finishing the game once. I got three trophies by doing these methods:
For SHARPSHOOTER trophy:
1. If you have 3 or more save files, delete them until you only have two save files (Save File 1 & Save File 2).
2. Start new game on Easy mode, still retaining your collected treasures, and save it on Save File 2 (NOT FILE 1!) or overwrite it.
3. As soon as the scene starts with the boat, quit to main menu.
4. Select any encounter that has enemies on it and enable lock-on aim. Regularly check your statistics. If it's 70% above, save again on Save File 2.
5. Chapter select Epilogue on Save File 2 and play until the credits.
6. Congrats you got the trophy!
For CRUSHING (+ stackables) and SPEEDRUN:
1. Delete game and make sure to disconnect internet on your system.
2. Load up disc and start new game on Crushing mode (you can overwrite Save File 2)
3. Play until you reach Chapter 1 with little Nathan on the roof, then quit to main menu.
4. Chapter select Epilogue (again on Crushing mode) and overwrite Save File 2.
5. Play until the end credits.
6. Congrats! You just obtained the trophies for CRUSHING (including stackables) and SPEEDRUN!

@@zelkakp6508 you can try by going through the Prologue and hitting most of your shots on the guys on the boat (checking stats is key), before quitting to main menu instead of doing Encounter Select.
The crushing doesnt work on me when i go to chapter select the chapters are gone after finishing the chapter 1

ALSO - Some people have mentioned whether the 2nd Save File has to be the same difficulty as the first one. Does anyone know how I delete the game so I can get the non updated version without deleting my game progress?
If you have a *physical version* of the game exit to PS4's main menu and delete the application. *You won't lose your original save file.* Remove the disc, turn off the internet, put the disc back in and that's it.

I finally got it to work. I took my save files and saved them to the online storage. then I erased the all the files except the the first saved file that I beat the game on and then I followed the video. I knew it was going to work when I exit the chapter 1 and was able to chapter select to epilogue. the previous times I tried it would not have the levels available but this time it did. thanks to everybody. I know I would not be able to actually do the speedrun for real

DudeYoureDuckd saves all the files to the online storage then erase off the system. Going to have to load each file from the online after til u find the right one

Works perfectly. Remember to pay attention to the video and its audio, do everything it says exactly. It must be patch 1.03 or below, you must save on save file slot 2 and something not mentioned in the video is you need to use a different difficulty than your last playthrough, when you save at Chapter 1 and then quit out to the menu, you need to overwrite save file slot 2 you were just using for Chapter 1 with the data for the Epilogue, select the same difficulty you did with the prologue as well.

-I died 1 time on the boat part hiting a stone.
-I died 1 time at the crash mini game.
-I was doing both Crushing and Speed Run trophies.
-I only got the Speed Run trophy.
-Dont got the Crushing trophy.
The same happened with me, but I played the epilogue again and then I received the crushing difficulty trophy
11/18/2020 Still Works! Thank you so much! For those who are unable to get it, if you have a disc you delete the game, and your game should be back to version 1.0.0, and it will works fine.
Another confirm that it works. got it on my 3rd try. (patch 1.03). Those who have issues, try closing the game, delete save game 2, launch the game, set the new game with the same difficulty that you completed the first playthrough (moderate in my case, without any assist of any type). And then proceed as in the video. My first two tries were another difficulty in both cases, one of them was crushing and the other explorer with assists and neither of them worked. GLHF.

Confirmed, this method does still work in November of 2020. Just follow the instructions in this video and you'll be good to go. Make sure you have the physical version of the game. Disconnect from internet, uninstall the game, reinstall the game and begin to follow his instructions. If anyone has questions, go ahead and ask.

Holy crap, something insane just happened, I came here with the intention of utilising this exploit and I was looking for the version of the game I had (1.03 - 1.04 etc) but I couldn't find where to look. So I went to the credits under the extras menu and as I did that the Speed Run Trophy popped, zero delay like other trophies as well. Here's what I did: 1 - Deleted all save games except my profile and one completed game file (epilogue Pic). 2 - Loaded up the game and went straight to the credits.. that's it! Hope it works for you, or maybe its the luckiest Trophy glitch ever!
This is hilarious, just got sharpshooter trophy and plat doing the same thing. 1 - Do step one above. 2 - If your stats are at zero then this should work, load up the save, go to encounter select, kill one enemy making your hit ratio 100%. 3 - Exit to main menu, select extras menu then credits, walah, both trophies popped!

MrReign I know you did this message ages ago but I just tried it and it still works. I was on chapter 11 on my speedrun and I just clicked on extra ,,,, credits for a laugh and boom done. Although I will add for anyone else patch 1.32 was downloading in the background and this might fix it so if it's downloading pause the download.
This works like a charm. I say this as of February 2018. What I think isn’t mentioned is that you must upload your profile and 1 save game to your cloud, delete your patched U4, reinstall it while your PS4 is disconnected from the internet. Follow said instructions and my speedrun trophy and platinum popped up. Thanks, Bro

Those would've taken me 3 time to finish and would've been pain to finish, but this legend just showed up and made me get the platinum in less than an hour (I had to make some loading for 30 minutes to start the epilogue)

READ: I attempted this glitch today (20 May 2016) and it WORKED. I did this on patch 1.03. Patch 1.04. was downloading on my system but I paused the download and continued with the glitch on 1.03 so I am unable to say whether it will be fixed but I would recommend not downloading the new patch if you want to do attempt this glitch. I set the difficulty level to the same level that I did my first playthrough with, which was moderate. So I can confirm that this works. Thanks to the uploader for posting this and saving me some free time.
I confirm it... It still works... Things you have to do: keep the same difficulty as the original playthrough. Do not play chapter 1 or the prologue, just skip as soon as you start chapter 1, to avoid auto saving. Then start the epilogue through chapter select and save on the second save file (the same one you started the glitch with) then skip the cutscenes until you reach the credits, where you will get your trophy. As of May 19th 2016. Did not work for me the first two tries, but the third worked.
For me, I can't choose all chapters. Just the first one. It's annoying as hell, i've tried it multiple times.

You should now be able to chapter select and still see all chapters -> select epilogue in the same difficulty you just started a new game and start the epilogue. It will ask you to save. Overwrite the save and play through epilogue. This will pop the achievement.

be more specific. When you exit right as the boat scene starts, do you have the chapter select now with all chapters? Do you have more than 1 save file? Did you start the boat scene on save file 2?
DaftMANIA I deleted all of my save files prior, except for my original one (where I beat the game on) and my profile. I started the boat scene on save 2 and quit right away and I still didn't have all the chapters. I did it again and this time I quit a bit later to see if it made a change but nothing happened, once again.
I feel like they didn’t patch this to make it impossible to get, just to make it a little bit more difficult and give this method that bit more of a “pirate-y” feel so that having you get something you didn’t actually work for, just the bare minimum, can be compared to like robbing wealthy people of their wealth by attacking their ship, but in this case have you go uninstall the game and reinstall it without internet connection and no update files, to beat the game in less than 15 minutes, even tough you didn’t even touch anything but the prologue and epilogue).

Ghadente The way he shows it is confusing. Try it this way after you have of course beat the game once.
1. Start a new game and create a new slot for it. Make sure there is only two saved slots. Also when it ask to keep all your treasures select yes.
2. When the new game starts you will see that first quote. Pause the game and select save and save on that new file you just created.
3, After you have saved quit and go to the main menu. Then go to story>chapter select>epilogue. When you pick epilogue it will ask to overwrite select yes and choose the new file that you made to overwrite. It will then ask to autosave and select yes.
4. Complete epilogue and when the credits roll just exit to main menu and trophy will pop up.
This is exactly what I did and got it first try. This was about two hours ago I tried it. Also pick the same difficulty when ever it ask just in case.

if anyone is having problems with this trophy, the new patch stops it working, BUT if you delete uncharted 4 off your PS4 take the disc out and put it back in, so it reinstalls, it will start dowloading the recent patch/update, pause the update, now try the glitch, it will work because you are stopping the update from patching the glitch to the trophy, the only downside of this method is to skip to the epilogue you have to wait 30mins so it can install that part of the game, I hope this helps you all
Thank you for the video, i just unlocked this trophy, for those having problems with this, what you can do is "Delete the Uncharted File 49gb" this will NOT Delete your saves, then follow the instructions on this video and trophy will unlock, this Glitch was fixed by 1.04 update that is the reason why you need to delete the uncharted install file. (also after you delete the file, make sure to turn off your internet so that the update will not re-download fixing the glitch.)
So I had just finished a speed run. But unfortunately it took me 6 1/2 hours. I was all frustrated and went on youtube. Saw this video and tried it about 4 times. Then it finally worked. I had to keep deleting my second save but try again. I'm on the latest patch. So for those of you it doesn't work. Just delete it and try again til it does.

Famed i think i figured the problem, delete your second save file and create a new one to keep repeating until you get it and play both epilogue and prologue on the same difficulty as your main save

This still works (2020/11/18) . You need to be on version 1.00. Also if you haven't gotten crushing difficulty trophy . Do this method in crushing difficulty and it will also pop.

Posting to confirm that this still works as of today, July 17,2022.. if the sharpshooter trophy did not pop (just like what happened to me) play chapter 15 where you're hanging from the ropes with enemies shooting at you.. shoot the enemies and die (fall to your death) afterwards.. raise your accuracy to at least 70%.. save and quit to main menu, chapter select to epilogue and the sharpshooter trophy will unlock during credits..

It didn't work.
I just tried it...... and it worked first time. I deleted the game from the main menu, and then re installed the game whilst not connected to the Internet. Loaded it back up, done everything he tells us to do bam I got the trophy. Anyone saying it don't work you're probably missing a step, just keep trying and watch all his video.

Those on 1.04 with a physical copy of the game, if you uninstall and reinstall the game IT WILL STILL WORK...make sure that you turn off your network on ps4 or just cancel the update.
follow what others have said here:
1. Start a new game (I selected same difficulty as completed game - ie Crushing) and quit once you gain control (on the boat)
2. LOAD your completed game (save file 1)
3. Load your NEW save file (save file 2) WHILE in the menu of your completed game (save file 1) (ie don't quit to menu, load new game from old game)
4. Quit your new game (save file 2) and go back to menu
5. Click Chapter select and pick the 'Epilogue'
6. overwrite your NEW game (save file 2) when it asks where to save to
7. Just run through and finish the game
8. Trophy should pop when the end game credits start
I personally deleted all of the data relating to Uncharted 4 on my PS4 (save files and everything) and then installed it while the network was turned off, I then copied my crushing completed save file from a USB stick and did the procedure as suggested above.

It works! anyone who has the newest update, just delete your game and install it again, pause the update in the downloads. and take these steps in the video and it will work!

+GreatnessDebates If you have the disk version of the game, simply delete your game data, reinstall it, and cancel the update request (or just disconnect from the internet all together) and it'll still work. Unfortunately this isn't possible on Digital versions, as far as I'm aware.
It doesn't work right now, i've tried but it doesn't charge the chapters on this second data save :/

Just did it in October 2021. Still working, even though I had 3 or 4 saves on my 1st game. The most important thing is to uninstall/reinstall the game WITHOUT the updates to make it work.
On ps4 or ps5?
If you have the latest patch installed it's simple - back up your save file or don't it doesn't matter - put the system off line [settings, network, connect to the internet - untick this box so that the patch isn't installed ] - the follow his steps I used Explorer difficulty in both the chapters so that's just a suggestion :-) works perfectly offline vanilla game.
+Darkstar8473 PS the game needs to install the stages I believe so it takes minutes for the first level and up to half an hour for the Epilogue ... because you have the latest patch installed not the one he has to you have to completely remove the game but hey beats actually doing the speed run ...

I just did it, it works as of 4:08 PM ast may 18th, took me 2 tries to get it to work, I had to put it on the difficulty that I chose when I started my first save game, so as far as I see it yes you have to use the difficulty you chose when you first started your save game 1
I can confirm that this does work as of May 27th, 2016.
I uninstalled the game data, turned the internet connection so that it didn't update the game, and played as instructed. Trophy popped and then gave me my shiny platinum trophy!

Yes it does, however you won't get the trophy for beating the game on crushing so i just decided to do it on explorer mode, made it go by quicker and there was really no point going through the trouble if I wasn't go to receive the trophy

Working 16/11/20. Physical copy needed for it to work. Must be version 1.00, disconnect from the internet and follow the video. I had multiple saves and just overwrote save 2 and it worked. Selected hard difficulty but I think you can select any difficulty

18.11.2018. didnt work for me first time round because its been patched. so i deleted the game as mentioned in one of the comments to go back to version 1 with no internet connected, and it worked 😃😃 very happy man now i dont have to slave away for another 6 hours. thanks

Awesome awesome awesome! Didn't actually think it would work for me as these things never seem to but it actually did. You MUST start your NEW GAME on the same difficulty that you played when beating the game on first attempt, as it never worked for me when I chose a different difficulty. Also the new game save file MUST be the 2ND SAVE FILE - any more than two save files present when attempting will result in nothing showing up when you go to chapter select.

Third update. Started uncharted in crushing, chose to save all treasure, as save file 2, upon start of boat controls, I quit to menu, selected epilogue and over written in crushed mode over save file 2, started and finished epilogue, skipped up to naughty dog credits and got speed run trophy.
it still works. i did it exactly like explained in the video so if it didn't worked you probably did something wrong. i also made sure that i am not connected to the internet, i had to wait 20 minutes for something to install (?) as I started the last chapter idk what it was but i still got the trophy. thanks a lot for the video. 👍

guy's it does work you have to uninstall the game with the latest patch, then disconnect your ps4 from the internet so you can't install the patch, then reinstall the game the follow the video and it will work, just done it 4th june 2016

I can personally confirm that this glitch still works as of update V.1.3 with internet on and without deleting the update. It's just kinda like the wall/wooden bowl glitch in Skyrim, it takes multiple tries to effectively get the glitch to "glitch". Although, I think it helped by watching all the cutscenes and going DOWN in difficulty from your previous play through, not up.
