i have wonderful memories of time spent there in 77 and 80 with my relatives who still live on drumfin ave, playing football out the front on the green, t till silly o'clock!! the halloween bonfire- that grew so high!!! buying 20 major for a crafty smoke!, the late night shop ( i think it was a house actually a road or so away). the smell of the open fires in the houses, fantastic times. john o'connell
So many good young men dead HEROIN o sweet Jesus what a curse. Salt of the earth working class folk I’m 61 now and the graveyard still breaks me I remember them all some brothers lie together. We are all still brothers and all them young men left broken families. Ballyfermot I love ya. Pk leixlip
Thanks for this , I'm a Crumlin head, but have family in Ballyfermot , that's a cousin of mine playing the guitar, now living in Spain. I'll get this video forwarded to him. 👍
Seen some people there I knew. Terry King, Landen United, Mr. Heney, Thomand. One of Eccles in football gear. From Landen, a football family and St . Pat's supporters. Those were the days my friend I thought they'd never end.
Lovely to see this video, just thinking about Ballyfermot yesterday. Anyone know the Whelan's on Ballyformot Drive, the Mc Mullen's and the Joyce's on Ballyformot Parade?

Best community ever.
This video brought back such fond memories of Ballyfermot. I was happy there as a child. Everyone was good to each other - a great sense of community.
