Great riding guys. I’ve now added Expresso to my “list”. Good to see Braden riding with you. I was worried he may have taken a sabbatical from riding when you once mentioned he was no longer part of “yellow” Sight club. But I see he just scaled down the bling factor. But you, Dave, are taking it in the other direction! And with skills like yours, why not?!
I dont know if I have seen Expresso made to look more effortless. Great riding guys. Def reminded why I dont ride lower ladies anymore talk about old school tech!
Expresso is always fun! Video does not do Lower Ladies any justice. You guys also made it look pretty easy - but anyone watching who has not seen it in person, rest assured it is super janky and sketchy in real life.
Can someone please educate me on trail 'maintenance?' I don't know anything about this and I see a lot of carpentry work that obviously requires a saw / hammer / drill / screws and maybe even some chainsaws. Do people maintain the trails in their geography? Does the Town or County handle this type of maintenance? Any insight would be welcome. Thanks!
Dang Dude, that's got to be illegal to have so many good trails in a row to link up. Just adding names to the list of trails I've got to try whenever the world returns to normalish status and we can safely travel. What's the new fork Dave?
There is one ~40min climb between Lower Ladies and Leppard. Trails are amazing though and I'd highly recommend riding Mt. Fromme if you get the chance.
@@filmkorn So many trails to try :-D Not a "bike park/groomed jump line" guy, like the sort of stuff DD and Dale ride more often, really like it when the trail has in some tech climbing to challenge the slow speed and fitness, despite not really having great balance LOL.
Just a casual 1.5 lap after-work ride :) New fork is a 170mm Lyrik. I wanted to try a longer travel fork this year and red is my favourite colour so it was an easy choice.
Id love to do trails like this but the closest hilly/mountain areas are 45+ mins away and Ive got no idea really how to work on bikes (I can do cars but not bikes)
I shoot raw and process in Premiere. I generally refer people to the Loam Ranger's tutorials. That's how I got started and then tweaked things as I went.
Sick! I haven't seen many of these trails filmed before. The start of lower ladies is crazy tech!
Definitely adds some spice to the lap when you finish with LL

Thanks! Braden's bike is actually fancier (or equally fancy), but in a more subdued/boring colour :p
Wish there were trails like this closer to me,, looks like a blast 💥
We're spoiled for choice here!

I could never ride like this.. you sir are very very talented
By far, the best trail I've seen on this channel! 🚴
Dayam! Well ridden! Superb video and superb trails - great challenges, but you kept speed and flow.
Nice riding on the flow and the jank on Lower Ladies. That trail looks to be as rough as ever, but you guys sailed through it.
Thanks!

Thats quite a spot to stop in at 6:25
I'm just glad I didn't knock us both off the corner!
Nice work bois!
Thank you!

Usually people do it or local bike clubs
Red fork looking minttttt.
It's glorious isn't it?!?
@@ddangerousddave I custom wrapped my 36 in red vinyl, and yellow stickers. Something about red..

That trail seems endless. How much elevation?
What, no old entrance? ;)
Found the purist.
Next time :p
Have you ridden The Dirt Diggler?
It's like 20' left from the top of the skull.

Nice flow as always! May I ask what your GoPro settings are or do you shoot raw and post process the footage? Thanks!
By the way, what chainring size do you use and which cog are you in most of the time? Thanks again!
I shoot raw and process in Premiere. I generally refer people to the Loam Ranger's tutorials. That's how I got started and then tweaked things as I went.
I run a 32t ring. Gearing really depends on the trail, but I probably run one gear easier than most people.
@@ddangerousddave Thanks!
What's the first most popular trail on the shore if not expresso? Bobsled?
bobsled
Bobsled. Which makes sense given its more accessible both in terms of climbing and difficulty.
Do you live by all these trails or do you travel to them?
Expresso is as much fun to run down as it is to ride. hope you dont mind sharing the trails with runners
Who maintains the trails? GVRD, DNV, locals?
I can't decide on what's sicker, the riding or the bike...
Dave's impeccable trail manners - thanking everyone they pass.
@@filmkorn in true canadian fashion ;)
Courtesy has the right of way :)
1:56 in... What the **** was that
The GoPro effect for Lower Ladies is terrible, that trail is freakin hard!
Very confusing thumbnail before I knew it was the names of these trails..
Damn Dave is way too speedy for lower ladies
Thanks! Still have to conquer the gap after the monster coaster though.
@@ddangerousddave Oh wow I didn't know there was a gap there! Welp I guess I'm gonna have to rewatch it to find out hehe
That lower lady trail looked super sketchy
