- A monstrous motorcade escorted by the Metropolitan Police SEG departed Stansted Airport and then snaked through London before making a pit stop at a service station. It was delivered to the UK via four C-17 Globemaster aircraft. The secret service personnel refuel their vehicles before departing to their next location; Winfield House. Vice President Kamala Harris is visiting the UK next week for Rishi Sunak's AI safety summit. This is just the vehicles & staff locating ahead of the visit.

@@Enyap_ The US Air Force flies them in on C17s. I filmed the same convoy. After the VIP's visit, they fly them back to the USA.
You have to admit, that sometimes it’s so over the top what the yanks do, it’s just unnecessary for one VIP.
They're terrified of being out in the savage underbelly of 'the rest of the world'. I think they must've seen our football supporters on a bad day, and had flashbacks to Braveheart. We don't have guns in the UK ... because we don't use them..... we use our hands, and the unbridled inner rage that comes from witnessing an injustice unfairly perpetrated on the underdog.
Well considering that there’s many wars currently. It’s best to have security around the one and only VIP of the whole COUNTRY!
@@ian020881 They use the same amount of vehicles when travelling in the US so its not any different. Also there are guns in the UK i mean about 4 million are in public hands according to stats plus thousnads of cops with guns.
And yet the same president says he needs to reduce carpet emissions and then you look at that motorcade plus all the other aircraft he has. It’s more than over-the-top.
I think they're great at learning from their previous mistakes to some extent.

They pay nothing and will never pay. TFL was trying to get money as they owe milions for Congestion charge I've read recently but they say that according to some law they don't have to pay. Interestingly other countries pay their bills for Congestion Charge and ULEZ..
Don't know if these are petrol or diesel or some of both, but assuming they were nearly empty for the flight, say pump 80 litres in each vehicle, x 156.9p per litre = £125.52 multiplied by 16 vehicles
£125.52 X 16 vehicles = £2008. That's for petrol. If some are diesel, it will be even more.
I'm curious how the actual payment takes place. Does one guy wait until the end, then pay, or does each driver pay separately with their Uncle Sam Amex card?

Metropolitan police vehicles are issued with a charge card for the petrol stations. I think it was Shell when I was in the job in the 1980’s. I presume the transaction was paid that way?

they operate under diplomatic immunity. Sirens etc all fitted to vehicles and allowed. They usually rely on local police to escort them from a to b under blues and twoes.

@@Maurice_Moss That's not how it works as explained previously, Agents protecting Heads of State and Government of their government while abroad don't need to follow the normal laws since they get [ DIPLOMATIC Immunity ] from the U.S State Department meaning the UK police cannot legally stop them + it is counterproductive. This is a common thing nothing new, the UK RaSP when visiting U.S don't get 'new' guns they simply get it from the Met Command Post and are covered by Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office via Diplomatic Immunity. These are not your normal private bodyguards they are legally shielded from your average laws.
I'm just thinking of the bill, filling those things there at those prices!

Utterly disgraceful. Our security services and police using foreign vehicles. No wonder our domestic motor industry is in such a shambolic state. Roll on a proper British government which prioritises our industries and not giving millions to foreign car manufacturers. To see British police driving BMWs and Audis is obscene.

They normally do bring their own fuel, but perhaps the logistics of it didn't allow them to travel back for a refuel.
