  • Welcome to Karon Beach in Phuket, one of the most picturesque spots in Thailand! In this video, we take you on an unforgettable journey along the coast of Karon Beach, exploring not just the beach itself, but also the surrounding areas, restaurants, cafes, bars, and local attractions.
Karon Beach is a long stretch of golden sand and crystal-clear water that extends for several kilometers along the Andaman Sea. It’s the perfect place for those looking to combine a tranquil getaway with a well-developed resort infrastructure. In this video, you’ll see Karon Beach in all its glory: tourists enjoying the sun, swimming in the warm sea, doing parasailing, and simply relaxing under the tropical sun.
We start our walk from the central part of the beach, where beachside cafes invite tourists to sip on fresh cocktails and indulge in Thai cuisine right by the water. Along the way, you’ll spot numerous umbrellas and loungers, as well as beach bars that create a comfortable and relaxing vibe. Karon Beach is also known for its wide sandy shore, where even during peak season, you can find a quiet spot for a peaceful retreat.
Our video includes not only beach scenes but also a stroll through the picturesque nearby streets. We’ll visit local cafes, such as the well-known "Chekhov Restaurant & Bar," which is getting ready for its grand opening. You’ll see charming streets filled with cafes, souvenir shops, and tourist-friendly infrastructure that blends perfectly with the tropical resort atmosphere. These streets are ideal for a relaxed walk under the shade of palm trees, where you’ll meet travelers from all over the world and enjoy the local cuisine.
Additionally, we showcase one of Karon Beach’s main landmarks - the majestic golden Naga statue, standing tall by the beach. This symbol of protection and strength attracts both tourists and locals alike. The majestic statue sits atop a blue pedestal and perfectly complements the backdrop of the sea and sandy shore.

Special attention in our video is given to the nature of Phuket. Beyond the beaches and city streets, you’ll encounter tropical landscapes: tall palm trees, lush greenery offering cool shade, and serene spots where you can escape the hustle and bask in the sounds of the ocean and breeze.
You’ll not only see the beach area but also the active entertainment available at Karon Beach. Parasailing is one of the most popular activities here, and in our video, you’ll witness this exciting sport in action: parachutes soaring above the sea, offering breathtaking views of the coastline from a bird’s-eye view.
Our walk continues along the coast, where you’ll see red safety flags indicating possible waves, emphasizing the importance of beach safety. Along the beach, you’ll also find local cafes and beach bars offering refreshing drinks and delicious Thai dishes.
Karon Beach is famous for its expansive shores - even with a large number of tourists, you can always find a free spot to settle under an umbrella or soak up the sun in the shade of the trees. The beach is clean and well-maintained, while the gentle waves add a special charm to the sea.
The video is shot in 4K format, allowing you to enjoy every frame in maximum quality. Phuket was one of the worst places I've visited in SEA so far. Absolutely rip off, disgusting Elephant abuse and hordes of Russians. Absolutely a skip for me. The only 'ok' part was the giant buddha temple on top of the mountain. Still a place I'd rather have never visited. Edit: I have to commit, that there are pretty good restaurants around as well, so not only the Buddha Temple.

@@-ripinpieces-8409 Hey there! Gosh, I'm really sorry to hear that your experience in Phuket didn't live up to expectations. I have to say, I personally had quite a different one-I found Phuket to be a really special place.
But I totally get it-your experience can really depend on where you stay and which parts of the island you explore. I had vastly different experiences in Rawai, Nai Harn, and Karon myself, and it just goes to show how diverse Phuket can be.
One thing that really stood out to me was how warm and friendly the local people were. Their smiles are just contagious, and their openness really made me feel welcome. And let's not forget about the amazing temples! There’s such a rich history here, and I loved visiting all the incredible temples, each one with its own story to tell.
I do have to agree with you about the elephants though-it’s heartbreaking to see how they’re treated in some places. But the good news is, there are sanctuaries like the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary where they’re working hard to rehabilitate elephants and give them the life they deserve. I highly recommend checking them out if you're ever back. (www.phuketelephantsanctuary.org/)
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! I really appreciate hearing different perspectives. It helps keep me open-minded, and I hope, if you ever give Phuket another chance, it might surprise you in a good way.
Take care, and thanks again for the comment! 🌟

@@DG-REAL-WALKS Thanks, that you took the time to post this nice comment. I'm going back to Thailand in a couple of weeks, but I will visit Ko Lanta again. This is what I imagine if I hear Andaman sea and a tropical paradise. Sure, there are also lots of tourists, but it's so much better than Phuket. At least for us. If you like nightlife and party, Phuket might be the better option, but I'm a nature guy who likes to enjoy without huge crowds. So I guess Thailand have something for anyone. That's why it's a supreme destination for us.
