- I made the drive over to a test market for Chick-fil-A's new Cauliflower Chicken Sandwich. Could it possibly be as good as their actual chicken sandwich? Let's find out.

It's at two of my local Chick-fil-A's here in NC. I want to try it to see how it is. After seeing this, I will definitely get my normal order too. I will have back up if I need it lol 😅

@@ZeusKingOfGods1 Same, I can wipe out an entire cauliflower head just plain honestly and cauliflower "wings" are pretty much one of my favorite foods ever. I mean, chicken is great but after you've had it thousands of times in your life like I have it just gets old and them having a cauliflower sandwich rocks! Definitely one of my favorite veggies for sure.

they should just do cauliflower 'nuggets' or something like zucchini sticks like some other places do if they want to offer more veggie options.

Exactly. Then it isn't trying to be something it isn't. We need to stop making healthy options into their unhealthy versions. It isn't the solution to eating better, healthier, anything. It's just another option to eat and that's awesome. I just hate the idea of people thinking a sliver off a head of cauliflower fried, breaded, and loaded with all sorts of who knows what is, healthy. I am sure it tastes good. I want to try it because I can't help myself but I try not to eat with the Fil-A gang often.

I love all these vegan alternatives, I really do, theyre so tasty BUT shouldn't they cost the half??? its kind of absurd, the thing that makes these establishments expensive is the MEAT, its hilarious that I love the veggie burger from carls junior thats bean and soy based, it kinda tastes like beans and I LOVE IT, i prefer it over the meat version honestly but its like 4 dollars or more, it should be 1 dollar seriously, and just for the bread and tomatoes, and the soy bean patty

It would be nice if they were cheaper than meat cuz, 1. Logic and 2. Why discourage ppl any further from eating plants instead of murdered animals when it has to cost less to produce the non murdered option to begin with
@@MG-pj2oo I fully agree with you and the OP, I'm not a vegan or whatever but it makes no sense that a breaded cauliflower sandwich with just a couple of pickles on it costs more than $3 tops. I tried the Impossible Whopper at Burger King alongside a regular Whopper and I thought the Impossible was just as good taste-wise as the regular one but $7+ is insane for any fast food item PERIOD (other than maybe Chipotle/Qdoba burrito's as they are huge and filling).
I'll just never understand the pricing of plant-based options honestly. I try to cut back on my meat consumption but when you have to pay more for vegetables than meat there is a problem.

That's the thing...I love fried cauliflower. There's actually substance to it. This would be mushy and gross chopped up for a side. It's a huge fail.

I’m in Denver so I may try it. But I think vegetarians won’t eat it since cooked in chicken oil/not vegetarian. And chicken eaters won’t appreciate it. And if you trying to be healthy, it’s not that either.

I agree, they should only charge $4 for it honestly. To be fair though everything on their menu is overpriced. My wife and I can go to Taco Bell and order a taco and burrito each and get out of there spending about $6 and you get way more food.

First of all, very cool of you to do the disclaimer and educate a bit. My best friend was subjected to conversation therapy by their mother, they were sexually assaulted in addition to all the physical and mental assault at one of the places. They are still gay obviously and it has taken them into their 30s to finally be at peace and completely sever ties with their mother and religion. It is hard to support a company that could support anything so awful! That said, that friend loves Chick-fil-A lol so I may have tried this had you not reviewed, so thank you for that too! Being veg it has been an easy place to avoid, I love cauliflower "wings" so i would have been tempted, but all the ones I've had are very lightly battered, but not as crisp as this sounded. Makes sense it was so oily given the thick batter

They gave me a free coupon in the app to try to lure me to your area to buy one. I think it is a very confusing product and it sounds gross, the only benefit is that it is lower in calories but is of no use to anyone vegan. Plant forward is the stupidest term ever!
