I have a pocket Leuchtturm sitting on my shelf right now, and these videos are tempting me to start a morning pages journal in it, even though I just set up one last week in a passport insert...
I’m happily settled into a cousin at the moment but this video made me nostalgic for my bullet journal days. I’m looking forward to watching you use it for however long it works for you.
I’ve been using an a6 pocket since the new year and I’m in love with it!! I mostly use it to write down tasks for the week and track my weekly habits but it’s so convenient. I only started one because I was running out of pages in my a5 since I was doing 2 2 page spreads every week (I used a modified hobo cousin method but all hand drawn). I still carry around an a5 cause I write my weekly schedule in it but I think I’ll fully transition to an a6 this summer to see if it’ll work long term for school.
Thank you for collecting your fan fics; I also read a lot online and never considered that also counts as books. I recommend the comic book Saga, I think you would like it.
Thanks for the recommendation! Some fics are more impactful on me than books I think. They stay with me longer - so I love collecting them along the books I do read
OMG, I love my A6. I have left my Hobonichi Cousin in favor of the flexibility that the bullet journal system really allows. I loved seeing your set up. I am using the Stalogy mostly because it has more pages -- I wish LT would do a larger A6 and I would go to that in a heartbeat! BTW, I have to say after watching your videos, I have started using the Archive Ink and it is easily my favorite! Thanks for showing your awesome setup. I always appreciate your stuff, Lindsey :)
I picked mine up from journal station but it appears they're sold out. Here's a link to an over-seas shop: www.sumthingsofmine.com/products/plusminus-pet-washi-tape-dejavu
Love your detailed notebooks. I just set up an A6 Leuchttrum and am returning to the compact bullet journal that served me perfectly well before overbuying Hobonichi. 😑
So I know this is an older video, but I just set up an A6 Leuchturm 1917 as a creative brain dump bullet journal. Routines, travel ideas, quotes, etc. If I think it, its going in here. LOL. The only reason I’m putting calendars and dates is so I know when I dumped something in. I can’t wait to see what it looks like at the end of the year!!! I’m a huge fantasy buff and right now I’m rereading Anne Bishop’s Black Jewel book series. The world absolutely blows me away.
I love your set up videos! They always help me organize my thoughts which helps me organize my notebook. 💖 Fantasy novel recommendation: Michael J Sullivan's series' - The Riyera Revelations, The Riyera Chronicles, Legends of the First Empire, and currently being released series, The Rise and Fall. They're all set in the same universe, Elan, but at different historical times. They range from low to high fantasy depending on the series (it is integral to the story). I first listened to them on Audible, and have since purchased them in print. (The Audible narrator is excellent and has become one of my favorites. The fact that he narrates a book has become a deciding factor for purchasing a book.) It has become my favorite world and I am happy to devour everything he writes about it.
Sorry I'm just trying to understand but didn't you just move to a Hobonichi Weeks a few days ago? I would think all that effort writing back all your previous entries on the Weeks and not using it again was just a waste. I don't have the energy to move journals around so I tend to just stick to one until the end of the year.
Agree. Seems a bit excessive and counterproductive. I thought this one was going to track meal planning or something else but it’s tracking same thing.
I understand moving notebooks often isn’t for everyone. I usually return to planners I’ve used later in the year, so they don’t go completely to waste. For me setting up a new planner is most of the “fun” and I find it meditate to back date. I love seeing how I can adapt a system to a different setup/planner and I always learn something new about myself along the way. At some point I get tired of it and “settle in” for awhile but haven’t hit that point this year I guess. I always love seeing other people who can pick something and stick with it! Maybe I’ll get there some day but for now, I have the notebooks and the time so I’m going to continue to experiment as I want / need to. I’m trying to get away from long “break up” type narratives when I switch 😅 this time I felt a bit trapped in the consistent layout and wanted to feel a bit more free to experiment with a dot grid notebook. Thanks for the watch and the comment!
@@xojasberry90 thanks for watching! Usually I end up a some decent gaps in unloads after January until around may/June when I’ve settled in. But I’ve been trying to be more consistent with weekly uploads. 😂 it’s sort of airing out my dirty laundry on how much I experiment
I’ve moved TWICE since December for my home/personal planner and work planner. What do you do with the unused portions of planners when you switch (assuming you never go back to them or backdate them)??
It depends! Often I do go back to planners I started. I find back dating sort of mediative. Otherwise I’ll use the un used pages for experimenting with different layouts / setups in case I want to try the planner again. Or they stay blank until I move the needed info to other places
Are you able to fit your a6 Leuchtturm into your passport tn? I just recently bought an a6 Leuchtturm for journaling because my moleskine one can’t take fountain pen ink. I was super surprised at how tall it was even though is said it was pocket size! I don’t mind overhang at all really but overhang in the top instead of on the side is throwing me off a bit🤔
I haven’t tried putting mine in a passport cover but I’d assume the extra height would bother me a bit as well until I got used to it. Maybe try the soft cover version? It’s not that much shorter, but the cover is flush with the paper
I’ll explain it better in an upcoming video - but at a high level it’s an alister type break down. Top section is for habits and the bottom for tasks and events. I can soft schedule tasks by putting a dot under the day or leave it open for any day. Events are marked with a circle and I draw a line from the description to the circle so it’s easier to see when the appointment is and draw attention to it!
I get the appeal, but I cannot get on board with the reading interface 😅 I’m carrying on with ffnet for now. I plan to set up an ff list in my Weeks, thanks to your inspiration 😊
@@elizabethjohnson438 AO3 has customizable skins with different layouts! It also converts fics to epub, mobi and pdf files, among others. My books app is full of AO3 fics, some of them even illustrated ❤
Is it just me or the paper quality in these changed because paper is more thinner compared to 2016 ones?! I've purchased a couple of them and they look different from the very first one I got...(just wondering if anyone has noticed).

🙈 the temptation is real…
You inspired me to use an A6 I’ve had sitting around forever and I’m loving it now! Thank you! ❤️
Thank you! Hope you’re enjoying your new setup
I love the variety of journals you use!
💕 thanks Julie
I love those! I carry one as a sketchbook everywhere ❤
Oooh that’s a good idea!

This makes me want to restart bullet journaling and simply accept that I'm not a dated planner person. 😅
I think this perfectly describes my current mood 🥹💕
I think I need BOTH. I don’t need yearly index. Or maybe monthly. But I do need weekly. And daily. And hourly. All dated. BUT INALSO NEED BUJO
Thanks for sharing! I just found this video! =D Love it.
I love fantasy. I’m currently reading Soul of the Sword by Julie Kagawa and am enjoying it a lot!
I was just debating moving into an A6 leuchtturm1917!
Fun Fantasy/Romance The Coven Harper L. Woods 😊

I totally agree. I love Lindsey's content. But the constant moving from planner to planner stresses even me out and is giving me whiplash 😢
Her comfort/consistency is planner hopping. After you learn that about her and just accept it it gets less stressful. 😅💕
