IF HE WERE molested, saying that’s the only reason you can be angry at pedophiles is a stupid, messed up, *incorrect* line of reasoning that slanders everyone who’s ever been molested - AND IT WASN’T EVEN TRUE, Kendrick’s song specifically said he WASN’T molested but Drake completely MISUNDERSTOOD IT, which makes it even MORE messed up! All while Drake is saying “prove it, do your research”, and can’t even understand Kendrick’s own lyrics! Drake pantsed himself!!!
This is what it’s like fighting a narcissist. “I’m too famous to be a pedo, I would have been arrested”? That much faith in the Justice system against rich people is the whitest thing Drake has ever said.

Kendrick taunted him too much about his 20 ghostwriters so Drake went and likely wrote most of The Heart Part 6 himself, which meant BOY DID HIS REAL SELF COME THROUGH and it was not a good look for him!

Kendrick ended up not releasing the next track, Universal Music Group stepped in because he was hurting the money. Think of all the sponsorships and brand deals Drake (or UMG rather) has. Honestly I don't think that's even it. Even if they did make the call, there wasn't any point in him responding anyway since this track actually made Drake look worse.

Just to clarify: I think the R Kelly story got a bit distorted in the retelling. It wasn't Kendrick that threatened to pull his music, but Top Dawg & folks in the label that had reached out to Spotify about the R Kelly thing. The headlines read "Representatives for multiple artists including Kendrick Lamar threatened..." and the story kind of took off from there. Knowing how little control artists have over what their label does & how they leverage the artists' rights they own, it doesn't reflect on Kendrick Lamar any more than it does on SZA or any other TDE artist, but that's me.

This track was garbage. Him talking bout he has facts with no proof is laughable. He followed Kendrick style in this beef. He thought he was doing a Meet The Grahams with this and it ain't hit the way he expected. Kendrick said "fabricating stories on the family front, cuz u heard Mr. Morale" and even though he showed your hand you still played it. In my opinion, Meet The Grahams ain't a playback song but it wasn't designed to be. It was designed to do what it did as far as this battle and to Family Matters and it did just that. The playbacks to me are Like That, Euphoria, Family Matters, Not Like Us and 6:16 LA. I just wish 6:16 was on streaming so I didn't have to come to UA-cam. All in all this was a good battle. I enjoyed the music that came out of it
The beats have carried Drake for a loooong time now. Honestly producers have done the heavy lifting in hip hop for over a decade now. When you just read good artists lyrics, you don’t need the beat in your head for it to make sense, you see the poetry. I’m glad producers like Metro are just taking the stage now because they might as well.
Lyrically it wasn’t as bad as people say. He rapped. He played with the syllables and had some lines. As a diss it was the worse of all the tracks though. He got 5-0’d though. Family Matters should have won him a round but, Kendrick did something so crazy with Meet the Grahams that I’ve never heard nothing like so too bad for Drake.

Please add a correction. There is no interview of Kendrick admitting to domestic violence on Whitney. On TBC, he was refuting an incident with a random that turned out to be a lie. The random issued an apology. He was saying that woman should apologize to true victims not to him for lying .
