There’s a 13 minute version of this floating around somewhere. Biggie’s around D-Roc and Biggie says “get yo hands out my pocket” likely referencing the Malcolm X movie. They were talking about somebody and the other guy asked them if they were talking about somebody he knew but Biggie says it wasn’t the same person. Those are the only tidbits I can remember for the extended video of this session.

He probably wrote a few words. Sometimes writing on paper can make your head hurt because you’re thinking too hard while trying to come up with lyrics while staring at your notebook. Sometimes it’s better to listen to the beat first while zoning out before writing so it can come out natural. Trust me it happens to me. I know niggas that will write 2 to 3 bars on paper to start out then they’ll put the pen and the pad down and write lyrics in their head then they’ll go in the booth. They’ll punch in a few times or do one take.
