If the dog had rabies none of that would matter, not in the slightest . Climb a lamp post or a tree whatever just make sure you get well away from it .

It's easy to spot a dog with rabies as they are more aggressive (insane-like aggressiveness) and tends to drool a lot. If this is the case then stay away from it as much as you can 'cause we all know how lethal rabies could be.
