Sir question, may req'd kasi na determine the maximum load P that can be applied to the beam. What if nag negative yung P, and postive yung isang P, ano po yung Psafe na gagamitin? PROB from 8th Ed. Hibbeler Prob. 1-96. Naiba po sa given is medyo mataas yung Mpa na ginamit ko.

Hello, if given po, then we need to check the capacity of the member based on tensile stress and compare it sa ibang given allowable stress ng material, to make sure that the member will not fail in any type of stresses :)
