Bro if somebody named "zenithzv" comments something like "Escaping in tf2 has always seemed like a strange case to me" I can't even speak on the things imma do
to be fair, fish on a stick instantly clued in on the 4 ammo packs thing for the pyramid whilst thewhat just got a clue that saved him 10 minutes on that section
to be fair, when i went through this map i did the entire last zone without the base jumper by c-tapping off the lava and grabbing the big health packs so reset the fire damage
i don't mean to brag or anything; but when they got to the pyramid and i saw the discolored top, i instantly said "Stand Atop the Four Pillars" all excitedly, then i saw four pillars and jumped outta my chair. I remember that one star in sm64 dude, so so well!
Yeah same, I felt it was that as soon as I noticed one of the torches was lit and that their directions corresponded to the pillars formation. Really clever
BECAUSE IT IS! When on the internet and something has a tip like that, and you’re joking with your friends, it’s very likely to thing something looks like a dong.
29:05 I am so sad nobody is talking about this moment omg [Blue]: Wait, wait, if that wasn’t, like, purposed solution to the problem, why would you think Engineer likes eating slugs the most?? [Zenith]: Well, I just like slugs- I just like eating slugs.
Out of all of them, FSOAS was definitely the angriest. And it was a pure and unfiltered spite. This and the birdseed line convinced me that he was ready to kill GB.
“Men, these are the facts as I understand them. 1) I am the prettiest unicorn! 2) My mane smells like lavender and it catches the wind perfectly! Dismissed!” -Soldier TF2 (only Pyro applauds: everyone else is stunned silent)
the fact nobody immediately thought of spy when blue said "which class likes eating slugs" as the hint 😭 it's what I thought because idk... French people eat snails
Reminds me of that moment in "Meet the Sandvich" where Heavy violently snaps Soldier's spine in half with probably most gruesome sound effects and voice acting following it, as all we can see is the sandvich peacefully minding it's own business in the fridge
I love how Blue has basically become the very best possible combination of MagicTheNoah and Valefisk; the new vein of content is enjoyable, and I am here for it.

these are so enjoyable to watch. This was a genuinely well-made map, I loved every section's puzzles. But apparently, no one playing in the video has ever played Super Mario 64 in Shifting Sand Lands to stand tall on the 4 pillars.
Did my boy refference a niche hereditary disease i live my entire life in fear of due to my high likelyhood of contracting it at 1:50? I feel so repressented!
I don't how (if you could have) implemened it, but incorporating the Dalohkos bar into the final solution would have been great, because: 1. Don't Feed the Birds: Chocolate is actually poisonous for Parrots 2. Heavy wasn't used in the map at all, so it would take people a while to consider him the key, even more for a lunchbox item. 3. The Map would have started and ended with a Minecraft feature, feeding cocoa or cookies to Parrots in Minecraft kills them.
loved how all three of them, without fail, in the escape map, see random hard-to-reach ammo packs atop 4 pillars and go "oh it's just an ammo pack" and ignore it.
the reveal that Fish said the exact words "sus amogus" completely unprompted, implying that that's where Blue got the idea for Zenith's hint was beautiful
"what class likes eating slugs the most" Engie is the answer? I don't understand. Escargot is a typically very French dish, so I thought it was suppose to be spy.
I actually tried the map, and I got stuck trying to find the red key. Put that shit in the most innocuous position possible. Stickyjumping was hell. Everything else made me feel clever and it almost made the few thousand hours I had in TF2 worth it. Almost. 9/10.
out of the 3, the person to realize the trigger for the torches was the ammo packs was the one person who didn't even look at it when the torch was lit. Even better, the other two looked *directly at it, crosshair over the torch* and somehow it didn't click.
I absolutely love this! So much fun seeing three people figuring out which mechanics can be used to solve the puzzles. Large improvement on the last map. Keep it up.
I decided to play this map myself before watching the video. I didn't realize that you could set brushes to only be destroyed by certain classes and spent nearly an hour trying to figure out how to destroy the wood blocks. I immediately figured out the "Atop the Four Pillars" part of the Egyptian area, but in exchange I lost my connection to the item servers and couldn't finish the last area (I didn't feel like starting over). Aside from the Minecraft thing being kind of obtuse it was a pretty decent map.
Zenith's dumbass joke about the spy being "top secret" at 48:58 is so terribly bad it made me laugh so much that it made me cry, thank you zenith, very cool

i played the map before watching the video, and i thought you broke the wood by burning it with a flamethrower to weaken it and then break it, the back scratcher apparently worked. with the stone, i thought you had to weaken it with a rocket and break it afterward, i just happened to have the escape plan equipped. i also thought you had to shoot the targets in the third room with huntsman arrows to activate something. after a painful 160 minutes i finally beat the map. it took half an hour to find the incorrect shadow, and another half hour to find the engineer.
