At first glance it was just a simple game to me but after I tried to play it with chain rule, it felt like something different. From that point I regularly get it out to the table especially if I feel like playing something challenging. 😅

      Fair enough! 😁

I would suggest maybe trying playing with the points awarded by the automas. They are really punishing given that they are basically guaranteed a ton of points every single round.

Yeah, they're really tough to beat. Playing with their points would be an option there. 🤔

@SirThecos Yeah, perhaps reducing the points per manager order tile or capping the number they can get per round or something or maybe limit it to 2 cards per round max that they can acquire with any extra being tossed and they keep the ones that give them the most points? Because I've had a similar issue of the solo mode being ultra punishing. Still trying to sort a strategy that actually works lol ....
I will say the game seems a lot more interesting in multi player from what I have seen of it being played, where you don't have opponents just getting points like crazy as a baseline.

@Thagrynor Yeah, that makes total sense. It's still a shame that the expansion comes with such a busted solo mode that needs house ruling to properly work. 😯

@SirThecos always an annoyance. But better than no solo mode I guess? I would rather have a basis to mess with than nothing and have to entirely build from scratch

@@Thagrynor Hm, yeah - it depends. In general you're not wrong. In this case, I have a lot of other games that work better solo and for multiplayer auction games I rather pull out something like Modern Art. But yes, the general premise of this solo mode isn't bad.
