I wish I’d had your foresight in 1970 when I was 16 riding my ‘69 SX200 everywhere to take lots of photos and keep all the crap I amassed, I do still have the original workshop manual from my scooter and a few receipts for work done from the shop I bought it but nothing like you have, well done you 👍😀
Superb vid, love the stories and pics and the Lambretta project. I’m Lowestoft born and bred from the same era as you but from the north end. I own a 69 SX150 that I still ride on the mean streets of the Gunton…
Love the vid brings back memories, I grew up on burnt hill estate like you just down road ( Conrad road ) next door to cappsie . I was mainly in to bike but in 1983 bit the scooter bug and got a li150 and ended up cutting it down , happy days
@@duncanandgaryssundayworksh1840 yes he did but at least I have fond memories of him growing up as I was same age as him and we were more like brothers in are younger life’s . And know what you mean He went on back of my scoot a few times but don’t think it was his thing . Like you I’m still doing scooters as once it’s in your blood your hooked for life . All the best and keep doing the videos

Good old Cappsie bless him. Came out with us a few times down the pub, never convinced him to get a scooter though. Passed away to soon bless him.
