    Man, their colors really pop against that gorgeous backdrop! The white washed them out a bit. Stunning. An aqua robot camera rig to swim around in there to get a fish-eye view would sure be cool.

    I was one of those people concerned about the floor space for the rays. Now that they are back in I'm shocked at how small they look. You're right, the camera doesn't show perspective. Acres of space!

    The colors of the Arowana look way better in the new scape the reds look more vibrant and the panda supreme looks gorgeous you couldn't really see their colors with the white walls and now the algae buildup won't be that noticeable. The gallery is really beautiful.

    Even though all your fish probably don't know enough to like or dislike your tanks with the fabulous backgrounds, their instincts probably cause them to feel calm and secure in backgrounds that would be safe areas in the wild. For the viewers your tanks are just fabulous. The contrast of the natural browns and grays & the lighting make the fish stand out, looking amazing. The 2000g looks so much like a natural environment! The minute you put in the first arowana the bits of color complimented the background so much! It is perfect! I'm curious to see how you'll incorporate plants in there.

    Somehow adding that giant backdrop makes the tank look so much bigger. I was thinking it would tighten everything up but the backdrop is making the arowana look tiny and really opening it up. It looks beautiful.

    So out of curiosity, how do you manage to clean the substrate under all the decor? I've had issues in the past with waste and left over food collecting in hard to reach places. I know obviously not to feed more than they eat in a few minutes, but these tanks have had bottom feeders as well.

    • @zerofox641
      @zerofox641 6 років тому

      Jessica Giraldo my guess is that since the rats are constantly turning the substrate over they’ll probably turn over the substrate that’s underneath the decor and move it towards the front. Just a guess I’m no fish expert, maybe there is an actual method to cleaning. Take a giant brush and pull the substrate forward
