Such a fun and relaxing video love the series and the music. The $$ popping up at the end made it a bit less peaceful as my heart suddenly realized how unlikely my full set dreams would be hahahaha but I’ll keep collecting my “first three columns” set and live vicariously thru these videos for the hyperfoils and showcases hahaha. Love how the video speeds up on some and focuses to show off the best cards. Definitely agree every hyper with pew pews off the edge are the best .

These videos inspired me to try to put a master set of my own together. So i bought the same binder and a case. I pulled a hyperspace Vader and showcase Boba in my packs. Love this series
I wanted a Vader. Idiot me thought I’d have better luck pulling one if I bought a case, wrong. 16 boxes later I was Vader-less and frustrated until I saw that Mike was making a Master set. He cheered me up and it pushed me to start my master set. Thanks Mike!
You inspired me to do a master set as well. What I am doing for the leaders is displaying the front and back of each type, so I am essentially collecting 2 normal copies and 2 hyperspace copies. It looks nice and fills that awkward gap.
@LiterallyUnplayable for the showcases I'm not currently playing with, I have in toploaders on display on my shelf :) I've thought about putting them and my lorcana enchanteds in a binder together to really flex on 'em 😅
Very nice. I just recently pulled the last card I needed (Avenger) to completed my master basic set now onto the Foils, Hyperspace and Foil Hyper. 7 boxes severed me well but no Showcases yet.
the $41 foil hyperspace Tarkintown almost made me fall out of my chair. I pulled one of those in my box and didn't think it would go for that kinda money. It has come back down to Earth since then but man I wish I could have sold that to reinvest in my standard collection. On the flip side the 2 Lukes and 2 Black Ones for like $36 is a steal. One luke is going for like $40 atm. Craziness
11:13 My hyper Gideon also doesn't have the security stamp. Not sure if that is a Rare problem, but my hyper Avenger has the stamp as a Lengendary; other L cards had it btw. My hyper Obi-Wan's (2 hyper, & h-f) have it, but a regular version didn't. Found a regular Relentless without the stamp. Same with my regular Palpy and Han units, all don't have it.
For my master set i'm doing normal - foil - hyperspace - hyperfoil. That way I dont end up with all those blanks next to cards that dont have all available treatments (bases, leaders, starters). Looks really nice!
Hey Mike! :D Props for the huge mission you are on. Watching this since the start but posting only right now to ask you some things since I'm kinda actually trying to do the same! (hope you didn't covered some of this already, maybe I forgot :D ) What is your plan for the 20 promo cards that are out there? I was thinking about putting them in order 1 through 20, after the main 252 cards. Would you put those in order? Or one for each row? Feels like a waste of space in the latter. Tho, some of those are just the Hyperspace version of standard cards, like Leia or R2-D2 for example. Those would fit nicely in the mentioned card row, even tho leaving the Foils empty spaces? Since they would go in 3rd space, the one for the Hyperspace I really can't decide on this one xD Also I noticed that you didn't put the Luke/Vader promos that come with the Prelelease pack in their respective row. Thanks so much for watching! I’m planning on keeping most of the promos in a separate binder that I’ll keep all the promo cards in release order regardless of set. Then for the hyperspace versions of the starter cards, I’m putting them in the set binder that those starter cards are in. At least that’s the plan for now!
I think the card backs, or maybe even the card backs of the offical SWU sleeves, would look cool in the empty spaces. I love using sleeves and card backs as fillers for my Pokemon binders.

Here I am worrying about how to ship my showcase I am selling, then see one that was just in a toploader and bubble mailers. I was thinking how securely I want to send it so I guess I know how I am shipping mine now, not in a bubble mailer but this gave me good ideas.
I started collecting a set just like this but after 2 weeks it bugged me that the foils are way less saturated in colour so I ended up switching to collecting 3 regular hyperspace versions of each card. But this set looks really cool.

I started trying to make a non foil master set, it's been rough, finished the basics with ease but damn the hyperspace cards are super hard to get hold of without just buying them as singles and the rares are pretty damn pricey right now!
I decided to just do a 1 of hyperspace or hyperfoil 4x4 binder. It should have enough slots to contain all 3 sets this year in it assuming the set size is still around 250. I figure doing a master set would cost a TON and just be hard to do. Looking good so far.
I got a Han Solo Reluctant hero (He looks AWESOME compared to the regular) and a Relentless Hyper foil... Already have a playset of both so I'm considering selling them. No shops around buy Hyperfoil (bought my showcase IG-88 though) so I consider Ebay but I never ever sold anything or shiped stuff on those sorts of platforms. Won't lie, makes me prety anxious to even try.
I ended up grouping my 30 life bases into one page and 25 life bases in another, no empty spaces when completed. I also had a page specifically for starter deck stuff. My leaders can all group into two pages. When/If I get to showcase, I think I want them slabbed and separated. I failed to pull a showcase in 13 boxes and 10 pr.

Back side of each base is a token and can be either shield or EXP. I am collecting a hyperspace version of each and slotting them that way

The common basses have 4 versions because of the tokens on the back so if you want a Master set you would need to include them all.

I doubled up the regular bases per row and then flipped a common card to show the logo at the end of each leader row.
I have one of each variant of the common bases in my binder. Regular/Exp, regular/Shield, Hyper/Exp, Hyper/Shield.
