Now, I lent my 2018 to TommyG and he tried to tell me he needed more space! Can you believe it? We looked like (well, he did lol) the Beverly Hillbillies coming back from Florida...the man had a chain saw on his back seat!! 🤣🤣😅😅
That probably looked really odd with the chainsaw! Cant say i have ever heard of anyone keeping that on a motorcycle..... Your the first! I guess you would be really prepared if a tree fell across the road though so he must think on a way higher level of preparedness!😂😂😂
I have a Spyder RT Sea-to-Sky. In the side storage; rain gear, microfiber towels, tire repair kit, tire air gun, BRP toolkit (which i do use), and a half tarp or a full tarp depending on the trip. The frunk is used to carry food, beverages and clothing. The trunk always has a small emergency care kit, hand sanitizer, spare sunglasses, tire pressure gage, my Captain's log, a roll of toilet paper (always in a ziplock bag), an extra water bottle, tic tac mints and chewing gum, and paper maps (in case the gps craps out or if there is loss of cellphone signal). Enjoyed this video! Cheers!
Thank you for sharing! In my jeeps I keep toilet paper in a baggie too. If I had more space on the F3 I would carry it too. It is odd how much space it takes up. Good idea on the paper maps! I have used the beach blanket as a tarp before. A tarp or some kind of blanket seems to come in handy a lot for me. I really appreciate the comment and support! Hopefully this will help someone (especially the toilet paper mention).
Welcome to the Spyder Family and glad your enjoying the F3. There was a god bit of changes to the 2024 model. Hope the video helped and soon some comments will hopefully help with an idea of what to carry!
I have a Spyder RTL. I keep a battery powered air compressor, Battery powered battery jump which can jump up to a V6 car engine, A first aid kit, a tire plug kit, A full suit rain gear, A tool roll with quite a bit of tools, and a second pair of gloves. I also have storage organizer bags installed in the Frunk and top case. I keep my flying eyes glasses in there when not riding (so I don't misplace them), Ezpass, flashlight, small usb battery pack. I also have 2 chamis towels. Most of this stuff is in the side bags, except the tool roll which I place in the top case. Frunk is reserved for long distance travel where I use a can-am suit case and just pop it in frunk.
Eventually i will be getting an RT. You cant beat comfort or price and storage. For some reason i never thought of a flashlight in the Spyder so will be soon adding. Thank you for comment and sharing and hopefully this will help others.
Spyder RT Ltd. I carry a whole rain gear (suit, boot cover, gloves) on one side and warmer clothes on the other side (chaps, sweater, a heated jacket, because it can get pretty cold here after sundown). When I travel, I put the adapted suitcase in the frunk for my clothing and I use the rear bag for food, drinks, a few tools, a tire air gun, microfiber towels, a small emergency kit, a small Kleenex package, oil with a funnel and a tire repair kit. I also carry a second pair of gloves and glasses. I know it’s a lot, but it all comes very handy at times. And I always make sure my cellphone is completely charged before leaving.
Thank you for watching , comment, and sharing! Even with all of that, you probably still have room for more on the RT. Your the first one to mention oil and funnel so far, which is a great idea to carry!
Well, I have an F3...when traveling, my frunk usually contains my rain gear, a flannel, a sweatshirt, a bottle of cleaner and microfiber cloths...oh, and a pair of tennis shoes. I do carry some of those same items you have but in my side bag or trunk...I used to carry a cover but never used it, so I don't even bother now. All those are great things to carry with you. Thank you!
Good to see this video. I also have a small air compressor in my frunk. Oops forgot F3 Limited. I keep a variation of what you have in your drunk. Similar with the wipes and towels but add disposable gloves. I haven’t figured out my necessary tools but working on it. Thanks for posting this, it gives me more insight than before. Drive safe
Thx MOAB for sharing. It’s always helpful to see what others carry. It inspires ideas. I’m somewhat surprised you apparently don’t use FOBO 2 for monitoring your air pressure. To each his own.
Thank you for watching! Is there anything special you use a lot?? I have looked at the FOBO before and like the idea of it. BUT.... I am kinda old fashion when it comes to working on autos. I like dirt on the hands and smell of grease, gas, and oil. When i have the chance to do something by hand and touch and feel, i do it. My Jeeps all have tire pressure monitoring and i use it but still do it manually as well too! I am a little weird though too!! Thanks for the support!
@@MOABMAN I carry a tire repair kit in my my slingshot. Rain gear and a helmet lock bag that doubles as an alarm. I’ll do a video on it shortly. I’m also prepping a video on the FOBO 2. K have TPMS in my Ford Maverick and had FOBO on my F3 and Sea to Sky. I like the idea of looking at the phone off im going to do a quick trip to the store and not have to physically check all three tires for a a ten minute trip. Still fine tuning the Slingshot EDC but in have AAA so never worry about too many tools.
Thats alot of JUNK in the FRUNK!! I see we have alot of the same tools... I carry the tools and I asked Purple to carry the Micro fiber towels..She had no room!!
Where i live there is a lot of big farms with big juicy bugs. I have to have a micro fiber towel for sure!! You should wash them and "shrink" them to fit in her new Spyder😁😁

I have what is called a "bug out bag" for my jeep that is WAY different than the Spyder. At minimum it will allow me to survive for at least two weeks. I almost mentioned it but wanted to keep it about the Spyder. Thanks for watching and comment!
