One of the best things about SF9 is that there practically isn't a "subvocal". All of the vocal line (even Chani and Hwiyoung recently being more vocals) are all good singers, not just people who can simply sing (I find nothing wrong with this, kpop groups are designed to have specific roles, not all members have to be good singers and I think that's fine). You can form no matter how many units with how many members and it will still be a whole group vocally. I guess that's the good thing about having a big group too, they have several people for each role, paired with their age range, military enlistment will not be an issue for the group at all, there will always be a main & lead vocal, rapper, and dancer in the group.
The blending of their live vocals gave me goosebumps! Zuho’s rap is so distinct. He’s the only rapper I know who raps like this. It’s like telling a story. The 6 of you really did well.
I'm so incredibly proud at the continued slaying of vocals, harmonies, rapping, etc. of these guys, despite being already pretty solid since day one (I mean just watch their DIngo Fanfare live box performance). I'm sure Youngbin and Inseong are so incredibly proud as well. And even though I'm a bit sad Rowoon won't be a part of this comeback's promotions, I hope he finishes his drama schedules well and comes back to the open arms of his members to belt out his own vocals.
