    Thank you so very much. Each of your tutorials is interesting in its own way, I'm learning such a lot and thoroughly enjoying trying different ways to use the stitches to create projects. More than anything am loving the way to are encouraging us to free up our style. Your delivery method is very soothing as well!

    You're so good at explaining! Thank you - and I am not sure if you mentioned it, but folks can slow down the video speed if needed, click on the six sided icon at the bottom of the screen and bring up various settings for the video

      Awww, thank you and thanks for the tip! That's an excellent idea. I know when I was trying to learn to knit socks from a video, I had to re-watch many times.

    This is such a charming little hexagon, and seeing the glimpse of varied hexagons together looked so cool! I've never tried embroidery, but you make it seem very approachable 😃

      Thanks so much. Like everything, it can be approachable if you are able to accept the imperfection

    I really love what you do and wish I could learn it. But unfortunately I get motion sickness watching your videos.

    I love this but one thing I don't understand is how you secure the end of the thread when the thread runs out.

    • @mistikomakes
      @mistikomakes  Рік тому +1

      That’s a great question. I do that pretty much the same way I start the thread, by taking a few stitches over top of each other on the back of the piece. You can do this around one of the stitches on the back, going through the loop a couple of times

    How many strands do you use? it looks like two to me.

    • @mistikomakes
      @mistikomakes  Рік тому

      Yes my default is two. Sometimes I use 3 if I want something to be more dominant, or 1 for fine details or something in the distance like the flying birds in this piece

    Hi im just watching your Visio its hard to learn if you are a right handed person because its the opposite to you try teaching with the videoing front of you for tight hand and this way you are doing for left had its twice the work but you will get more followers thanks for showing

      LOL I thought she was left handed. Really doesn't make any difference to me. Her teaching is wonderful and easy to follow. 😊
