I never held an electric guitar in my hands until two years ago when I was the tender age of just 73 years old (yep, you read it right). Your video is extremely well produced with the timed pictured chords and the arrows at just the right instant. Keep it up because the younger folks behind you will greatly benefit from your hands-on instruction of this type. Excellent video.
the chord charts and scale suggestions are SUCH a nice touch. Don't get me wrong, the track sounds great as well, but man I would've loved backing tracks that provided those when I was first starting out. Thanks for the upload, def subbing
marvelous! I love the sound of this jam track, I am learning neo soul right now. Usually I play classical guitar. This stuff is pretty new to me. Your chords and tips are helpful! I need more of this :D With this tracks I am exploring my fretboard, the fun way
Beautiful Track.Very inspiring. Thank you for a lovely chord progression and one educated explanation about the theory behind😎Subscribed and thumbs up 😘
Nice track, thanks. One question: Is it common in this genre to have a clap on beat 3 as main drum reference? It is a bit confusing for me, more used to snares on beat 2 and 4 (which have low volume in this track).
I see what you mean. I just go with the feel and what sound good to me. I'm not thinking technical. I think I went with the thumb slap on the guitar, as my guide. Maybe try going with that. Come back this Friday I have something new for you☺
hello! It`s an awesome track. I`m definately not a pro and I don`t post music as something serious, so I wanted to know if I can post some video of me practicing on instagram. Your backing track is sooo suitable and I misread something, so I thought it`s a no-copyright one
Awesome design, awesome choice of chords. And absolutely TERRIBLE and annoying 'Subscribe reminder'. Please, leave it to scammers and indian tech channels. You're better than this. You don't need it, your music will do.
It can be G major or A natural minor. Both scales share the same notes except, G has the F# and A minor has the F. B7 is borrowed as tension to lead to Em. The C#m7b5 and Em7b5 chords are borrowed from the harmonic or melodic minor scales associated with A minor (Both share the same notes). They are not diatonic to G Major. I just thought that movement sounds nice. The Em pentatonic and G major pentatonic sounds nice to me when I improvise. It all depends on how you interpret it.😊

It is, in fact, in the key of G
@user-mj5wj9hz8y Thats correct😊
@@johnklimeck Yes it can be that way too. Thank you for the feedback☺
@@johnklimeckyea I caught eminor as well but that means the pentatonic shape can be played on 5th position (A minor pentatonic)
