I was stationed in Büdingen in 1976 - 1978. Originally with 3/12 Air Cav, B Co the helicopter guys. We became the 503 Combat Aviation Battalion. I had one of the best Commanders Major Gerald Crews, he was awesome. He later went on to work for General Haig. I got sent to Hanau in 1978 and ETS back to the states in June 1979. Had some great times there. Lost all my pictures it was a sad time all memories gone.
Hi Folks I Can't beleive how this beautiful Village has grown since I was stationed there in 69-70 _3/12 Cav C Co They kept the red tile roofs though so the new homes still look like the older part of the city. Great work on the Movie Hennes2302
I was there from 1965 to 1968 then assigned to Ft Benning, GA. Where I served my last 9 months before I got out of the Army, but I'll never forget Armstrong Barracks and Budingen, Germany.

Wow! At the 2:11 mark is where I spent my childhood. From 1981 - 91. My father kept extending and I had some of the best memories living in Germany.

Some spell it Budingen some spell it Buedening then there is Budening anybody know the correct spelling ???
It´s Buedingen (translated the German Umlaut "ü" into "ue") ;-)
