Man every nfl team runs similar offenses, and he had been in the league for years, he wasnt a rookie, that isn't an excuse hes getting paid millions of dollars learn the plays and perform, grow up and be men and stop making excuses thats why your life isnt where you want it to be, had he put as much consideration into the playbook as he does his wardrobe he would have flourished, he couldnt get real with the game, so the game got real with him, and now hes washed up and complains, he will never play another down, and instead of saying "you know what I could have done more" he complains, and this is his life now. Just sad, so talented but unable to put in the work, sad little Cam and life just passed him by.

Cam is my guy but we have to be honest....in New england he went 7-9 and was the first losing season in New England in almost 2 decades. Started decent, but caught covid, and then digressed. He didnt progress thru his reads good enough, threw too many picks telegraphing his options, took a ton of sacks, and look a step slower from his athletic prime. Mind you bill belechiek stuck with him as the starter the whole season. To admit he didn't know the playback well enough was an indictment on him and gave reason for the pats to picking mac jones as a rookie. He was one of the worst starting qbs that yr. Then came to Carolina mid way and lost 5 games before there early exit. This is the resume.

As for the Weapons thing - he won 6 rings in New England while never having a pro bowl reciever in any of these 6 years. Never in any of these 6 victories did he have a reciever who ever in their entire career made a pro bowl. Never.

But as you said, he won Super Bowls with WR’s who NEVER made a Pro Bowl. But he LOST Super Bowl’s with HOF’s and Pro Bowler’s. Yikes. That HOF and Pro Bowl is a bunch of bull shit anyway. If you really pay close attention to the league, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Pat Mahomes, are the only QBs who can lead 2nd tier type players to the playoffs but even these guys have trouble leading lesser talent to the Super Bowl. Newton has done that.
Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, Mac Jones, Joe Burrow, Matt Stafford, Kirk Cousins, Derek Carr, Ryan Tannehill all need HOF type pieces around them to succeed.
Just give Newton a legit shot w/ talent around him. Imagine if he were Tampa or Green Bay's QB. Running game, O-line, WRs and TEs, he would easily make the playoffs.

As a pats fan. I think cam newton did great for the pats. Came in and made something out of nothing… but on draft night things just didnt fall into place for him. If mac jones didnt fall to the pats. He would probably have played the whole year. Kid grew up playing qb. Idolizing tom brady and the patriots dynasty. And he played for nick saban at alabama. And just won the national championship. Honestly I love my panthers and I love cam newton he’s my fav player of all time.. auburn has been my fav college of all time since before can then he came that year and had the best season imo out of any college player ever.. he had the heisman won half threw the season then came back and beat bama in the iron bow being down almost 20 points and then won the national championship for us.. then got drafted first overall to my fav nfl team the Carolina panthers after playing for my fav college team and he came in the Nfl shineing.. took us to a 1 loss season and lost the Super Bowl.. but was amazing that year he won mvp and was amazing most of the decade he played for the panthers.. but I hve to say all the QBs that has started for my panthers this year is at the very bottom of the 32 QBs in the NFL… Mayfield, Walker and Darnold… I truely believe cams better than all of them but in his time with NE with covid he didn’t have the time to learn the playbook and gel with his players then the year he did he got cut for jones then he came back to Carolina to a horrible coach past the half way mark of the season and he no time to learn the play book and gel with them team that was a totally different than who he played with when he was with the panthers the first time before he got hurt.. since he got hurt and released by the panthers for teddy witch was dumb AF imo cam has not got a fair shot at being able to join a team and hve time to learn the playbook and gel with his teammates

Don't know where or why there are so many false narratives about Newton.
Even Brady couldn't win a playoff game w/ the 2019 version of the Patriots. The 2020 version was 1000 times worse and the Patriots played the toughest schedule in the league that year. Newton won 7 games, but easily could have won 10 games. Everyone forgets the close losses to Buffalo, Seattle and Houston. The Patriots also, almost beat KC. If Newton had played in that game, I think they would have. A 7-9 record could have easily been a 10-6 or an 11-5 record.
In 2021, the Patriots upgraded the team w/ over 250 million dollars in free agent signings, and had the easiest schedule in the league. If Newton were leading that team, they would have been even better.

All Newton needs is a chance, w/ complimentary pieces around him. Brady, Rodgers, Burrow, Allen, Carr, Herbert, Stafford all have excellent offensive weapons around them. Give Newton a chance w/ that kind of talent and let's see what happens.

Ryan Clark is wild for his state. Jacoby Brissett been a backup quarterback for Hella long. Geno Smith was nowhere near early, but stuck around until he got another starting opportunity.
