lets say it was like 4 mana with less stats, would be at least a little bit more playable. But the more important thing is about the design. It's ridiculous how the sole purpose of the hero power costing less is jamming it to get more totems, but the card with the most synnergy is just not includable in that playstyle right now because it's odd.
The only way it would be reasonable might be in an odd deck where you can choose the totems and always get 4 different ones, but that's a stretch. It's easy to see coming and too easy to kill totems. Currently, there aren't enough other cards that would actually work in that deck. So, at the moment, that card is basically unplayable unless some new cards are introduced.
you always get a different totem even if you hero power yourself, BUT i don't really wanna talk about how viable that card is but the fact that there is missing synnergy in this odd/even mechanic.
Even shaman in standard isnt horrible either really... noone expects it.. i had a huge win streak with even shaman like 2 weeks ago or so.. and its fun.. This game just shows how strong it can be.. if you dont kill it quick enough.. great game kibbles!! Cheers!
only have it installed on my phone, but i cut the giants, hagatha, lich king, defender of argus, 1 argent commander, 1 chain gang, was trying only 1 hex for a bit but idk played 1 murmering elemental (saved for kalimos unless desperate for 3 chain gangs or big eel/fire elemental burn) 2 flamey phoenix, 2 spellbreakers, 1 cult master, 2 fire elementals might be good to cut an axe and scalehide for giants, idk. lots of weapon removal so axe isnt great and overload is horrible, and i havent had great results from scalehide. loremaster cho is funny with all the attack buffs since you run no spells, but complete garbo against spiteful
Shamen doesn’t have the best spells on the game, but it has a bit of everything. Healing, board clear, buff, draw, silence, minion generation, and a couple of finishers. Pretty cool suite of spells. Shaman may actually be a big problem in the coming patches
I have to admit. I love even shaman. First deck I played on ladder when witchwood came out but this video shows exactly why it just can't work. The only out is through Hagatha - and 1/30 chance to draw it isn't exactly great. THEN it's an RNG fest to pray you can get the cards from her. Hopefully Paladins get hit in the nerf because this deck is super fun. Took it to rank 5 after a massive 5-6 month break put me super far down.
The Even Shaman in Wild is significantly more powerful and is a Tier 1 deck because it has access to some very strong even costed Shaman cards (Flamewreathed Faceless, Thing From Below, all the Jade Cards, Maelstrom Portal). So powerful, that it doesn't need Hagatha.
I've been playing this deck off and on the past few weeks and it is an amazing deck. I think you win many games because people mulligan for shudder shaman.
2:26 Big mistake not to play Axe here. As Kibler belatedly realizes later, you can't play Axe on turn 6, because you absolutely have to coin Hagatha on turn 7. This was the only reasonable turn you could play Axe, so the fact that Kibler overlooked that is big.
He didn't overlook Axe, he chose not to use it there because he'd be taking a minimum of 7 damage. And considering the Paladin missed lethal 3 or so minutes later on top of Kibler going down to 8 during the match and only managing to survive several key phases of the match through RNG created spells, it was very clearly not the right play to make in the long run.
Clearly you missed the part where he took more damage in the long run because he didn't axe and kill the Dire Wolf, even though it's pretty hard to miss
biggest downside of this deck is no evolve, which is easily the single most powerful ability in shaman right now. But Odd shamman just plain sucks because theres no great odd cards other than evolve >
Can someone please help me understand? I really don´t understand why even shaman is such a big deal. Your payoff cards are basically just Murkspark and Flametounge (cause of more totems) right? And why would you limit yourself just to get totems for 1 mana? You don´t even have Thing from Below anymore.
Schrotto O it's not a big deal? It's not the crazy op deck that paladin and cubelock are, but regardless it's still a good deck, especially if you enjoy shaman like me, the issue is that even paladin does what even shaman does but better.
A totem is basically a stick, right? And murlocs are pretty much fish? With as much love as Kibler is showing that fishstick here, I'd says it confirmed: he's a gay fish.
I like the fact that in this game a piece of wood painted like a fish beat up the great paladin Arthas.
Arthas was never a particularly good Paladin
I appreciate the pun in the title.
Semyon Galtsev He HaGOT-A few more
Semyon Galtsev I
Its ridiculous how that card that summons al akir when you have 4 totems is odd
I mean it wouldn't be worth playing even if it was even.

I agree -- it won't work unless there are more cards introduced for more synergy.
Yes! Thank you for trying out Genn Shaman. It was supported in the set, but I wanted to see if it had any bite to it.
I was wondering what was the deal with "Lifebane"... Googled it and saw a video of you, burning Lifebane Zombie... 10/10
That Primal Fin Totem was really bright at the end!
When Kibler references MTG Kreygasm
6:39 oh look, it's Hawaii
Hahahahah that humor omg
1:53 "Hope I get taunt," *Gets taunt,* Me: "Hope I get taunt," *Gets the 1/1 totem*
Great music - fitting Picardy third to end on~
Sweet finish Kibs, we do appreciate so !

if we dont have alkir what would be a good replacement card?
i played an elemental version of this deck with kalimos and fire elementals from rank 12 to 4 with 6 losses last week, its pretty damn good
What did you take out for the elementals? Can you share a code?
only have it installed on my phone, but i cut the giants, hagatha, lich king, defender of argus, 1 argent commander, 1 chain gang, was trying only 1 hex for a bit but idk

LOL lifebaneZ certainly lives up to his name XD
Why no fire elemental? Wouldn't that be better than argent commander or something else because of earthen might and overall card quality?
Whoops i forgot about the corpse takers, but maybe 1 fire elemental 1 argent
I like to watch your videos. I can learn a lot from it. Please never stop. #Like!
What about primordial drake?
I think you counted wrong for the meteor and it was 15 hp

missed lethal from the paladin @5:50
Matthias R. Yup. Equality into Avenging Wrath was in hand, and was lethal. Well spotted.
Is hagatha necessary for this deck?
I’d say that paladin evened up the odds a bit
Man down. Where u from?

Big Spell Mage is good but relies on Janna
I've been playing this deck off and on the past few weeks and it is an amazing deck. I think you win many games because people mulligan for shudder shaman.
Hagatha (GONE EVEN) (2018)
What's hagathas hero ability?
get a random shaman spell when u play a minion.
6:29 Kibler Count Again Please
Clean game.

More recruit warrior! Harrrr!

Face mage and even shaman our new meta after nerfs
Can someone please help me understand?

Yeah but I just don´t understand what makes it good. Or, more specific, what makes it worth limiting your deck to only even spells
Sure bro, sure...
How in hell this deck suppose to win warlocks?
*Hagatha
xXCommanderOutlawXx It says Hagatha
why exactly is Primalfin Totem bad against paladin?
Jens i think it's because it's a slow card and you reaaaally dont want to fall begind in the board of you're a tempo deck against Paladin
Presumably because it's always exactly one turn behind, meaning if the paladin's making trades you'll *at best* be keeping his recruits occupied
Because it doesn't usually hit for 16
Silenced Primalfin totem op. I hope Blizzard nerfs it asap!
That one dislike right now
Cocain is a hell of a drug
A totem is basically a stick, right? And murlocs are pretty much fish? With as much love as Kibler is showing that fishstick here, I'd says it confirmed: he's a gay fish.
Trust the Gorton's fisherman...
This game literally made me wet myself
Why does he have every gold card? A reward for working at blizzard?
It's quite, not quaitzh.
hej smukke
