I have read and really enjoyed both City of Brass and Truthwitch!!! I am currently re-reading too Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone!! Happy December!!!
I've actually been so intrigued by Truthwitch, I've owned it for so long but haven't really been interested until recently and after hearing your summary of it I'm even MORE intrigued, I had no idea the magic was so different and fascinating!
A. G. Macdonald City of Brass has amazing world building (people will say it’s slow because of it but I love it since I’m all about getting to know a different cultures) and though I hate love triangles I have no clue who I root for on this one (I tend to go towards one side and that’s why I hate them if the MC doesn’t end with the one I like XD), there also seems to be a malexmale for the side characters and I’m shipping it already but I feel I’m gonna cry with them (for obvious reasons once you read it), I can’t wait for Kingdom of Copper >^
I really enjoyed the Witchlands series and I hope you enjoy the books too! I have The City of Brass on Kindle and it's still on my tbr so I'm pretty excited to see your thoughts on it.
I listened to The City of Brass on audio and loved it!! That was almost a year ago though and book 2 comes out in January, so I have a reread planned of a physical copy around Christmas. After the great audiobook experience I didn't hesitate to order a signed edition with sprayed edges from Goldsboro Books (where I've also preordered The Kingdom of Copper). Hope you like it too!
Wolf by Wolf sounds really good and I added it to my list even though I probably won't get to it very soon. Truthwitch also intrigues me - and I've heard good things - but I'm also kind of skeptical. You'll have to let us know how it was. City of Brass makes me think of the book I'm currently reading The Death of Mrs. Westaway just because it features a young woman who reads tarot for a living but doesn't believe the tarot to be real. But that's not a fantasy book. But she has a similar attitude about her 'gift.' I hope you enjoy all your books for this month and that you have a good holiday season!
Eyeliner game is ON POINT

@@KuroiAiren5 I don't mind a slow burn story so long as there's a payoff.

Sounds a good plan! The video duplicates and repeats the announcement for Harry Potter though...
Vol. II. America needs a whole boatload of truthwitches, but even their numbers may not save the hero truth.
