This is the same procedure for the entire 9th Generation of the Impala (2006-2013 Impala, 2014-2016 Impala Limited.) The 8th Gens (2000-2005) are very similar, except the calipers have a single piston. The REAR brakes are the same on all Impalas from 2000-2010. They changed the design of the rears in 2011 (2011-2013 Impala, 2014-2016 Impala Limited) from a drum-in-hat style parking brake to a ratcheting caliper. The procedures for compressing the caliper piston differ between the 2 types.

Hello sir, I have a 2009 cobalt ss turbo and have a p0300, 35 count misfire on cylinder 4, 4 on cylinder 3, 4 on cylinder 2, and 30 on cylinder 1, Im also getting a p0301 and p0304 for the cylinder 4 and 1 misfire, are they in any way related? cylinder 4 and 1? the car sometimes hiccups on startup but runs smoothly after that. I changed my spark plugs and swapped coil 1 and 4 with 2 and 3, it still says cylinder 1 and 4 misfire so I don't think it's the coils. I'm running out of ideas, would you know anything about this stuff? I have a 2009 cobalt ss 2.0L

I had a similar issue on a 2005 cobalt with the 2.2l i repaired months ago and it was caused by the ignition module, it was starting to go bad it would cause random misfire throughout all the cylinders...i would look into that first if not id run tests on the fuel injectors or look into a bad oxygen sensor maybe causing a lean condition which can happen when they get worn out

@@backyardchevy328 I don't know where to find the module on my car, I can't even find it on google it's odd. I just watched all your videos on misfire and I've seen the 2.2l one but mine doesn't have the module where yours is

@@noname-es4cy yea i was just looking over the engine and those actually have a cam and crank sensor that the computer uses to send the ignition signal to the coils so it doesnt look like it uses the ignition module setup
