One weapon type I've found works really well with Partisans, if you have them, is suppressed weapons. The ability to fire your weapon without attracting fire from the AI because of the sound of your weapon is actually really strong when you're shooting at them from behind although they will still react to nearby bullet impacts or even outright being hit. Edit: This does mean I have to deliberately limit my squad to 4 members due to how rare suppressed weapons are, being gold order weapons, unfortunately, and occasionally the AI will use the secondary weapon instead which is usually loud but I've personally found the trade-off to be worth it on all maps where Guerrilla's are useful.
I beg to differ on engineers in br2 as the amount of times I have never seeing a single engineer structure in a br2 game I wonder if I’m just put with idiots Note: I’ve taken to calling idiots I come across in br2 matches as conscripts (especially when playing as ussr)
I'm rethinking my partisan perks, and tend to put more into green skills like jump height/climb speed so you can parkour through terrain, jump straight over barbed wire and get to more advantageous spots, especially on urban maps and if taking a bolt-action rifle as a secondary and having the option for sniping. I'm not sure about the vitality 16 point perk being worth it vs the extra stamina/regen, especially if taking jump and climb perks as well. The point being that with mobility and stamina perks you won't technically be as fast as if you take the sprint perk, but you can run pretty much non stop without having to use the flask which is a one-off and you can't do anything else while chugging it. If a tank spots you or you get found by an entire squad the extra vitality isn't really going to help.
I'm really disappointed about his update. From my experience, Guerillas are usually an overkill against teams that are struggling and useless when you have 2 good teams facing each other (as it is much harder to go behind enemy lines when the enemy is competent or simply the map is too much of a corridor or simply the rythme of the game is just too fast for this gameplay). If you have a premium account, they are nice to have in your line-up but in freemium, you are better off with any other squad that can have an engineer. I would have preferred so much to have one or two agents equipped only with pistols, respawning behind enemy lines. Paratroopers are better guerrillas than actual guerrillas. Cheers
I was waiting for this video! I already commented on napoleon's video about perks and best use for them, and you hit the nail on the head. Long time fan and always laugh when I see your squad layouts and setups mirror mine exactly most times. Hope too many people dont listen to your advice or every BR V lobby will be all guerillas. I feel dirty using them, knowing im single handedly causing absolute misery for the other team and basically winning games with 1 squad.
No love for the shovels with melee perk quickly digging an advantageous hole behind a bush to hide your prone, passive, close formation squad? I do love sneaking, but I actually use them mostly to hunt tanks and rallies. As much as I want the digging -ambush to work, the game is too fast for viable terraforming to work outside of a committed 4-stack on the right map.
The only problem Ive found with them, is AI and bot squads do not recognize them in the grey zone. I was testing it a couple days ago by just standing in the open with them. Bot squads walked right past me without even flinching. That seems like a problem.
My way dealing with gurillas: shooting as soliders, sometimes bajonet charge. And not grayzone tanking puma, for a deadly to touch fast moving tank👹 3:52
Protip: Give your partisans SMG on the primary and rifle on the secondary for long range confrontation, and keep partisan squad to a minimum of 3-4 to maximize not being seen as you want to surprise the enemy and to not get spotted while trying to sneak around and depending on the map, you want to go to the sides with buildings that can provide multiple blindspots and I recommend that you have to avoid unnecessary combat as much as possible to save ammo and manpower and only engage if needed or when you're up against enemy Guerrillas/Partisans who has the same idea as you, your priority targets are mostly armoured vehicles like Armoured Personnel Carriers, and tanks but look out for Rally points which you can hear radio crackles and Morse code Remember these words: Tankers get kills Partisans saves lives and Rally points wins game
A great and bad idea for guerilla squad, the ability to find a enemy radio to steal enemy bomber run if they are called. Like a side objective only for guerilla
Germany should get his pphs41 back😢😢. Kinda proves how everyone prefer this over the kiraly, wich entlisted devs made as : excuse why germany got theirs removed 😂

Thanks gramps. Unrelated, I think a video where you ramble about soldier cosmetic customization for half an hour would be nice.

Thank you, I didn’t realize tech tree partisans can switch weapons so effectively switch BR. This is useful, quite useful
shout out to the dude randomly evading all my the rifle shots at 0:33 😂
So it is not just me who fails like 10 out of 15 shots with the new french rifle. It must be the iron sights, I swear!

Great video i am curently working on an historically accurate resistance squad as well as customising me into this squad (i am french)

A captured drum ppsh would be an excellent gold order weapon for Germany, especially for those who didn't get them pre merge

The french resistance event squad can use the T20, I prefer it over Thompson in BR5. The tech tree squad cannot equip it.

I should add that I am very happy for this video

Got spawn killed within 5 secinds of spawning in a tank by a tnt charge. The dude spawn killed 5 tanks in a row in less than 2 minutes.
I wonder what the solution to that would be.. maybe spawn infantry and go after him? I dunno.
Or.. stop spawning tanks? You’re giving him points.

Is there any way to get the german ones for free or are they p2w?
