Perseverance. Dedication. Intelligence. The will to be nothing less than the best. Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi has all of these qualities and more.He dreamed of being the best, of hoisting the Aegis of Champions at The International. Not for money, not for glory, but for the thrill of competition, to satisfy his desire to lead a team to the top and win.
But there always seemed to be something missing, something not quite right: the timing, his confidence, his team.
He always had it in him, the potential to be a true leader, a great player, a TI champion. It just took some time to get there.

From 3 big esports game, Dota 2, CS:GO and LoL, I only play Dota 2. But I occasionally watch theScore's The Story of CS:GO and LoL too. I could grasp the majority of what's being explained in the video despite not having a lot of knowledge of what's happening on the pro scene of CS:GO and LoL.

Watching him win ti7 was really emotional. He was one of the old guards veterans, he was there since ti1 and after 7, seven years, he finally did it. And he was the first to whitewash the grand finals at that.

One of the greatest of all time. IMO Kuroky, Puppey, s4, xiao8, and Universe are the most consistent and influential of all the pro players. Nothing against Miracle or GH of course, they're amazing players, but they haven't been in the scene for as long as someone like Kuroky. It's that commitment to the game for over a decade that really sets Kuroky apart from a lot of the young guns. I'm sure he has an obscene amount of information stored in his head, so that even if Icefrog completely changes the game with the next patch, Kuroky will know what to do, while it might take longer for the younger pros to adapt to changes in the game. It's that wide knowledge base, along with the versatility to play core and support, which have made Kuroky a relevant name in the DotA 2 professional scene for as long as the scene has existed.

Loda story of perseverance was like Kuroky but earlier. He was considered a legend in dota 1 b4 kuroky, facing downfall of career b4 kuroky and redeemed himself and his career in Ti3 and the whole session.
Alliance was the first team to really consistently destroy Chinese team also. After 2009 western dota was dominated by Chinese farmers, the likes of Zsmj “6 min one item”. Keep in mind at that time farming in dota 1 was much more difficult and slower than today. Kuroky was totally destroyed mid by Mushi and admited how outplayed he was and the West has no chance.
Loda also made big life commitment, went to China, learn, practice, etc... and as a result his Alliance in Ti3 era was dominating and well deserved. The first team to be able to get respected from Chinese team. Navi was not as dominant when competing against Chinese back then. Keep in mind in Ti1 there were little interest in dota 2 from chinese and they were still spend more time in dota 1 than dota 2
@@TuanLe-eb5yp Loda is the GOAT, he carried quite a few games with 500 last hits and his team feeding. Burning is a choke artist, never won any TI.

it seems to me that in general the skill level is very high at TI but that isn't what makes or brakes a winner because the top players are pretty much the same. confidence and team chemistry and a fair amount of luck is needed and i say luck because at this high skill level it's the little things and timings can make a huge difference in the outcome of a game. look at OG this year, they were probably ranked around the bottom from all the top teams and yet they managed to take the trophy when nobody really thought they had a chance. sometimes teams are just in the zone and if players can detach themselves from the pressure then things have a tendency to go their way. easier said than done but that's just my humble opinion
@p1t this is why regular roster changes isn't good for a team. Liquid is the best example, Kuroky never kicks out anyone from the team and the team becomes strong because their team chemistry has developed so much because of that.

I love watching Rodjer play, but he's only a truly godly support if he gets his Enchantress. Teams have figured out that you just have to ban Enchantress against Navi or else you regret it. It's like banning NP against Bulldog. You just don't give him the hero that he will wreck your face with, or else he can and will wreck you, and then you'll probably ban that hero next game once you've learned your lesson.

Miss boston major, struggling in any events with LULBA (actually idk who had idea to pick him up at the first place, he just playing decent only on oracle at the time in liquid the rest was garbage) then GH comes he like the savior for this team even earlier gh come its not instant become a dominant team they even struggle in epicenter although they win it but in TI this team was beast, gh start to showing up, kuroky outdrafting everyone, mind control and matumbaman very consistent and miracle- is miracle-. Fly was kicked and replace by misery after that misery was the only one whos going to get replace by Rtz but Rtz dont want to play without Zai so they kicked both misery and notail..then the rest is history

The best part about watching all your videos is that I find myself rooting for all of your featured players and their teams. Like, last video I was rooting for Alliance v. NaVi, and this time NaVi over Alliance.
