Yes, those lights are definitely sweet. They seem to do pretty much eveything that I could think of wanting a light to do. No doubt quite pricey but if they're led the should last a long while. Good vid.
I have one question, can you use the starter kit lights in lampshades and if so do they sell the same ones you can use for ceiling lights, very interested in getting a echo, this would be great, as I own a ranch style house. Great video.

I dont think many people know this but if your bulb is flickering or making a buzz noise, on the back of the bridge under the word Tronic-Dimmer there is a 'Load adjustment screw' which helps stop that problem by turning the screw!
What’s nice now is they have Bluetooth bulbs by Phillips hue so you don’t need a hub for basic operations and color changing, you can see use Alexa for them too. With the Bluetooth ones you can add a hub later if you want, but to get started you won’t be needed that. However some of the apps won’t work without the hub.

I love nest and ring, but I'm not a fan of HUE. I want to be able to use the regular switches to turn the lights on and off as well as an app. Lutron Caseta seems much more practical to me. Love you Lamar!

There are a few apps that sync with your music and change lights accordingly. Pretty awesome. Ambify is the best one IMHO.
