This is the most fun adventure on UA-cam I have ever seen I’m 62 years old and I’m like a kid watching this I’m enjoying myself it reminds me of my hot wheel days back in the 70s keep it up guys bring some more.
You write this from the bottom of my soul! Never see such a fabulous fun racing. I'm 61 years old and the 70s are coming back with memories building tracks with hot wheels, later with Darda
I’m 62, I remember saving my chores money and mail ordering (with help from mom) a hotwheels silver boss hoss. Are you guys like me when you see a young kids hotwheels collection and notice the ones with most scratches feeling a pang joy knowing he’s getting a kick out of it just like us 50 + years ago 😂😢 I had my favorites too. ❤
I really couldn;t ask for the racing to be any more dramatic or tighter than this final right here! Excellent premiere with over 70 fans in attendance!
That was EPIC! What a race, just like I expected. I know I am among excellent company, crashing on the last lap!! I was leading, and third is very satisfying to me!! Woohoo!! Thanks to all the builders who gave advice directly or indirectly; a big thank you to ALL at Shavano Mtn. and their fantastic race course; thanks to all the fans that make such great comments!! This race was a huge blast, and am really looking forward to the next one, whether I get in or not! I am camping out though........ ;) GO RALLY!!!
Can't help but smile, the commentary which i thought was great last race, was somehow topped this race, the racing was nothing short of extraordinary, and despite my constant praises, I can't help but say, your content doesn't only improve, it gets greater and greater each video, keep it up! Can't wait for a new season
Richard Gear and Air on take 😉, You did a great job, creating and building this awesome track, including joker lanes and train jumps, and drifting corners and so on! I wish you and all the subscribers merry christmas, and to your beloved people! Please keep up the good work! I will stay in touch, waiting for the next racedays at GTR! Best regards from good old Germany Michael 🙏🤘🤘👍❤👍🖖

Fantastic! What a race, what a finish! EVO wins! Does that surprise anyone? Congratulations again, on a great tournament! Top Tier Diecast Racing...you and 3D
Wow!!!! Just found the best channel on YT…. This takes me back to being a kid in the 80s. Me n my mate would get our cars and go to the top of our road and do this kinda stuff down the hill… had categories of best crash, best skid, longest distance all sorts of stuff. Sat here shouting at cars for crashing. Guys what a channel soooo cool.

To me, your setup ist better to 3DBotmakers in several ways: the drifting, the joker lanes, the jumps, the different track elements, the music... You are pushing it really far. Great work!! Greets from Germany
Hi Argentin. Thanks for the greeting! I'm glad you're enjoying the channel. As I see it, 3DBotmaker designs his tracks to appeal to a large audience. He's running a smart "business" model. Yes, I am pushing the envelope, but I have much less to lose. Many other small diecast channels (compared to 3D) are doing some amazing things with the track, layout, commentary, and everything else you've described. But thanks a bunch for the high praise! Means a lot.
Nooooo, Giorgioooo.....you had it in your pocket. Nevertheless - one first class tournament and a finale that fits perfectly into it. Very much thank you and congrats!
Can there be a season highlight reel, please? Such an epic rally event on a uniquely proper track--top marks in every aspect! I can't envision anyone else putting on this kind of racing with as much forethought that led to such impeccable execution. Thanks so very VERY much, GTR!!
That's an excellent idea! It would be tough to choose the highlights because they're so many of them! Maybe one the focused on drifting? I'd love to see a mockumentary of the Shavano Mountain railway. Do they haul lumber? Coal? Vibranium? How did the railway & the locals team up to allow rally car racing or is it far enough away from the town that it doesn't bother the locals? I think a hip-hop/rock powered drifting video with slo-mo elements may be easier to produce than my mockumentary! LOL! I"m under the weather. I'm all over the place! 😁
@@EddieDexterStewart I agree with you guys, But he is too busy trying to finish the track. HEY, maybe the best of drifts. I don't know about you guys but I need to delete old videos to make room for new. So when I do that, the videos are lost. I have poor video skills.
I am not saying it due to a specific impulse, I have even watched some videos from other channels before putting it in writing: despite the fact that the decoration is not finished yet, despite the fact that I think the lighting could be improved a bit, despite the fact that the dice points have not finished convincing me, despite the fact that another EVO has won (sorry Boxer!, but i have to tell it!! 🙃), despite... this has been the BEST tournament I've ever seen. Very interesting explanations of the design and construction of an impressive circuit that has generated totally unforeseen race situations and has meant that not one race was a carbon copy of any of the others, "active" incorporation of elements foreign to the race itself, moving cameras accompanying the descent of the cars on an open track, impeccable editing, exciting comments, the best manufacturers of modified cars competing... Congratulations to Boxer and to all who have competed but, above all, congratulations Mark!!!! And thank you!! I don't know if it will be the best maneuver of the whole tournament, but hasn't anyone seen the second 16 of minute 6 of Race 1 - Group 3 yet?
Absolutely brilliant As usual.. Man I am GUTTED that PIGGY didn't take it... Well done for taking Gold BOXER... A well deserving champion... You did a Great job with that car.

Wow! Absolutely Awesome! Couldn't predict that outcome, That's what is Great about this Track,. So many variables. Congratulation's to Boxer, Piggy2Lil, and Georgio! Crazy crashes!
Never seen this before and at 57 I am hooked… how exciting and fun, got to try and create a basic track for sure. Thanks guys, gonna look forward to watching a lot more…
What an epic tournament and a closely fought final! Another Evo victory with Piggy just missing out - Giorgio was doing so well and then it all fell apart right at the end. A really interesting track where no two races will ever be the same, with lots of scope for unlikely things to happen on the way!
This was soo cool. I want 2 mess around with a track n some Hot Wheels. I like that drift turn. Its like someone is at the wheel driving those cars. 🏁👍✌
That...was a SUSPENSEFUL NAIL-BITTER! WOO-HOO! The driver I wanted WON! (No spoilers!) I also have to agree with other commenters here. The commentary was excellent! The camera angles--an embarrassment of riches. There are so many variables in this race: No one can predict who will win based on which lane the car is in. It has to do with the car setup by the racing team. They have to take into account the drifting element, the chasm train jump, the runway straight away, and the dreaded Scrambler. One can go the route of the legendary Biscuit Brown and set up the car with working suspension, but his suspension was not balanced to handle drifting. One can create a drift machine, but lose it on the Scrambler because the suspension is too stiff. Anyone wanting to race on the Shavano Mountain Raceway (SMR) can't just slap some weight on a car and hope to win. They have to have a balanced machine and the winner was exactly that. Again, I am blown away by how great this course is, how wonderful the camera work is, and how the commentary keeps getting better and better. SMR & GTR is quickly rising to the top as a premier diecast racing channel. I know that you must put a lot of work into this. A lot of work, time, energy, and money into this work of art and great sport...so it hurts me to say that I cannot wait to see the entire completed track! If the Under Construction Tournament was this phenomenal this great, what do we have in store when the track is COMPLETED?!? Again, I hope I don't sound unappreciative because doing something like this is time-consuming (even the editing of the video). I am just SO HYPED and EXCITED about GTR and can't wait to see what else is in store! Great job! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year! 🏎🏎🏎🎄☃❄

Great tournament!. I'm waiting for the next one and hopping the scenary are finished. Maybe for the next season you could add more obstacles and some jump in the scramble area. Other possible improvemente could be removing the outside barrier from the drif area and adding in the slope a "penalty road". To many times the cars that don't make a good drift bounce in the barrier and get more speed or hit the other car that was making a good drift, and that seems a bit unfair. It´s an idea. Congratulations!! ^^
Wow I gotta say that you literally combined every element of racing into this track. You have a couple of jumps, a "off-road" type segment, some wicked turns, and a drifting section that blew my mind! @ the 4:00 mark or so, the drifting those two cars did looked so awesome! I am really envious, this track has it all! Extremely well thought out track and very well made as well! Awesome job, sir! I can normally keep my fan-boy attitude at bay, but this was seriously one of the wildest races that I've ever seen! Those drifts were absolutely incredible. That's so annoying, I can't believe how this took me back to being a child making broom-broom noises and only now I'm seeing this. The commentary was fun, the engine noises were spot on. Thank-you for this entertaining moment...Great track too!😊
Thanks for the comment. You're right! As a kid, our living room rug was the oval track where my imagination took off! @@gravitythrottleracing Indeed... Rugs, sideboards, bed with 'clothes. Such innocent times. Die-cast and Dinkies. I was gifted a 944 Porsche red remote control Porshe in primary school.. this video made me yearn for some nostagic love lol. Technology sure did allow you to not only fullfil yours, but my dream with the miniature camera work. If anything, I'd say if you could insert helo whirs for the overhead/top-down shots too it'd push the boundaries even further but hey... y'all even got music to enhance the action anyway. 5* racing! You definitely got a new subscriber here! That is a amazing track that you created! I WISH that I had the room to create the tracks that I have been wanting to do. One is an off-road type truck race as well as one for the Monster Jam Monster Trucks series. Plus a regular muti-turn track that has a couple long straight-a-ways and 3 or 4 turns. That's the one thing about Die-Cast cars and Die-Cast racing. It's the creative potential you have to design and make a wicked track, as well as some customized cars as well! I'll definitely be watching! Thanks for sharing these videos with us!
I wasn't the originator. Search TYOToys on UA-cam and look for the older (5 or 6 year old) videos before he used magnets. It's a simple principle. Entry speed is very important.
Ok, so I just stumbled on this video. Brings back slot of childhood memories. You should think about selling the plans and parts necessary to build that track. I would love to have one. Great work

The track designers really did a great job with the jumps and Drift corner. It seems the lighter cars had more trouble. Fun to watch.
Yes, weight does matter. We've learned that there is a sweet spot (or range) for weight that optimizes performance and minimizes DNFs.
Coolest track on the planet ! My cars want to go there !
What a bitter sweet moment. The race was so thrilling and enjoyable but I am sad because the season has come to an end
I longed to have a decent camera so I could create stop-motion movies of Hotwheels races. Funny how the technology is so accessible today. It's a super-fun hobby for track builders and diecast builders.
5* racing! You had me from hearing the Scoobys engine... you kept me with everthing else.
What did I just watch?!?!? 😮 I neeeed moooorrrrrrrrrrrrreee!!!!!!!!
สนุก และนั่งอมยิ้ม ชมการแข่งขัน ขอบคุณที่แบ่งปันครับ 👍🏽
Great job Peggy 2 lil and monster racing we’ll take 2nd! That’s not bad! Nice performance by Olsen racing and that punch was truly to the gut ouch lol!!
That lancer is very smooth and stable, feels like the track is made for him. Truly rally car
The drift corner is just lovely.
Thank you for tuning in, Alan.
Congrats to the champ! Such an epic tournament. 🏁😎🏁😎
3:35 That has to be the most slick recovery i have seen on any diecast races I have watched.
Great racing! Thanks for this even though the track wasn't "complete" yet. So looking forward to what you have in store next year! Happy holidays.
Thank you, Ed!
Excellent exciting racing and commentary!
WHAT!?!?!? THE MODEL TRAIN ROCKS!!!! GREAT RACING! JUST FOUND MY NEW CHANNEL.
Great first season on the new track !!
Much fun ,such nostalgia. Subscribed!
I can’t believe I watched the whole thing, and I enjoyed it
Thanks for commenting, Scott. It's a fantastic hobby!
The commentary is gold, better than any main stream. lol
A great track produces great action! That was nail-biting!
Now everyone's gonna want to know what you did to that Evo!
Yeah! Suspension work??
@@g-forceracing_27 Yes, but I can't remember what. Probably 0.020" piano wire? If you are looking for suspension ideas, check out www.youtube.com/@MECANICUSTOM
@@TheMakersBox Thank you so much.... like I said, this community rocks! I will check it out, & congrats again, your car looked as good as it performed, totally outstanding.
I can't believe I watched the whole thing! This was so much fun! ... Subbed. 👍
Glad you enjoy it like I do!
Fantastic racing! Looking forward to being a part of the 2nd Truck Race. BTW, Munch lives quite close to me here in the Oberpfalz ...
That's really cool, Markus. Are you both originally from Germany, or are you in the military, or are you there on a long-term business assignment?
You definitely got a new subscriber here! That is a amazing track that you created! I WISH that I had the room to create the tracks that I have been wanting to do. One is an off-road type truck race as well as one for the Monster Jam Monster Trucks series. Plus a regular muti-turn track that has a couple long straight-a-ways and 3 or 4 turns. That's the one thing about Die-Cast cars and Die-Cast racing. It's the creative potential you have to design and make a wicked track, as well as some customized cars as well! I'll definitely be watching! Thanks for sharing these videos with us!
A brilliant introduction to a thing I didn't know existed. Home-made downhill tracks -- and DRIFTING! Whoever thought of that?
I wasn't the originator. Search TYOToys on UA-cam and look for the older (5 or 6 year old) videos before he used magnets. It's a simple principle. Entry speed is very important.
Holy moly, this is so funny 👏🏼 tbh it's more exciting than formula one 👌🏼 really loving to watch these races 🏁🏁🏁
Also, after watching a 4th time, I agree with the best drift points that only count in sudden death.
Your name is Air-intake?....nice! I know its Aaron Tate, but Air intake is cool. Again sweet track and awesome races!
Ok, so I just stumbled on this video. Brings back slot of childhood memories. You should think about selling the plans and parts necessary to build that track. I would love to have one. Great work
You can see how I built it if you go to the Season 3 Playlist. There are 10 build videos. You might enjoy it.
Absolutely awesome
I hope you add the final details of this track like texture and mountains and such…what an awesome track and great racing.
Mike, I'm getting there. It's farther along than what you saw in this video from December.
in my opinion it took some time to wait for this video to load after some time had passed, finally I was able to see this video with my quota limit running low on how exciting the Ford Mustang is
